- On July 14th 2000, Thomas And The Magic Railroad went to the big screens in the UK. To celebrate the film's existence for 20 years, I have decided to make a music video of my favourite song from the film, I Know How The Moon Must Feel, which is sung by Dayna Manning.
In loving memory of Peter Fonda, Russell Means, Doug Lennox, Reverend Wilbert Awdry, George Carlin, Ben Forster, David Mitton and Michael Angelis.

Despite some people might dislike this movie and that it technically failed at the box office Thomas and the Magic Railroad will always be one of the few Thomas movies I enjoyed. And may the many people who worked on Thomas and in the film such as Peter Fonda and Russell Means rest in peace. They won't be forgotten.

22 years later and this is STILL one of the most powerful songs I’ve ever heard. The feels and Magic of this song are super tangible. My eyes are never dry at the end of this number.
I cried watching this, brings back memories
I remember being on a train and speaking to a woman named lily and her brother Chris. They were going from their mother after back from a visit on the evening and seeing their grandparents in the evening when we met.
This movie sure brings backs lots of great memories.

I remember just a month or so before covid-19 became a worldwide problem and i had just finished a bad day at work and just for the heck of it I decided to ride on my local railway for the first time in years. When the train cars were all empty i turned this song on at full volume as i watched everything pass by

Just found this. You made me cry. Not cool! :P I'm kidding. It was a happy cry. We need to get the Director's Cut. I don't want the Blu-Ray with the deleted sequences. The film should have been re-released as it was intended. Even Britt said if it was cut, the story would lose it's meaning or magic or whatever she said. But thanks for restoring a little light back into my life. :)

You do realise during the production of this video, the George Floyd news mass spread over the media, making the #BlackLivesMatter movement storm the internet.
It felt appropriate to mention it at the time but I know to this day it is quite outdated and the issue hasn't been massive since.

I wanted to match the PAL pitch for the UK release for the film. It also sounds a bit more emotional with the slight pitch increase. Hope that makes sense.
