This song is actually about to make me cry right now. Thomas was practically everything to me when I was little. I loved watching Shining Time Station on VHS tapes as a kid. I never knew that there was a full version of this song either... There are just so many memories rushing back to me all at once.
These are some my EARLIEST memories man. I miss the early-to-mid-90’s. Lamb Chop, Magic Schoolbus, Mister Roger’s Neighborhood, Reading Rainbow, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, Adventures from the Book of Virtues (based off Aesop’s Fables), Where in the World is Carmen San Diego? Arthur, Wishbone (personal fav), Bill Nye the Science Guy [“Bill! Bill!”], Theodore Tugboat, Zoboomafoo, Between the Lions (that one came toward the end of the decade actually) and many other just fantastic PBS shows! Very grateful for free public television which looking back really was just far superior and much more calm than some of the other Disney and Nickelodeon options not to knock them, but these shows were just categorically more peaceful and really did help me learn so much about the world fulfilling their educational mission, but also showing that learning is fun!
In memory of Britt Allcroft (1943 to 2024), who made one of the series I grew up with, which culminated into my Japanese railway fondness too. Not just to Britt Allcroft, but Michael Gambon (1940 to 2023) and Maggie Smith (1934 to 2024) from Harry Potter as well.

I've seen these miniature 424 steam locomotive replicas at deer acres family amusement park in pinconning Michigan back when I was 5 years old I was jealous of how the cement statue of the tin toy soldier was taller then me I wish the Detroit zoo had one of those especially if was to be really steam powered plenty of storm damaged trees around the zoo and beyond and the countless landscapers that go around Michigan have abundance of firewood from broken trees and fences and more
