Imagine causally walking into a pub and these guys started to play this ?? I think I’d cry 😢 😂
Imagine walking into a pub at all these days :(
@@fdfsdfsvsfgsg4888 well we do in Queensland Australia!! It’s like the Covid never existed!
I would def cry after hearing how beautifully close to the real thing they are, and the song choice. When floyd did it decades ago, it made me emotional. So hearing it in general is a time traveling treat!
Same
dream
To me Echoes is Pink Floyd's masterpiece. To hear a younger generation interpreting and disseminating it so masterfully gives me great joy. Rock on!
Ditto!
this is the first time I've heard these guys! I really have to say IM FUCKING IMPRESSED!!!!!!!! that's a lot of music to cover!!!! and they did an outstanding job!!!!!
Great version, I was fortunate enough to play in India a few times with a PF band, and they loved echoes. Especially the seagulls effect. Brilliant version.
Where did you play in India?
im 19 and its my favorite song of all time, only because i heard it on acid
Well done, guys, really captured the essence of the music - I am almost as old as The Pink Floyd themselves, good to you see young guys keep the sound alive - god bless, boys - love the way you medley'd this...
Meddle, A Saucerful of Secrets, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, that was the PF I knew before they became big with DSOTM, etc.
Always keeping them alive 👍🏼
FOREVER LAST PINK FLOYD!!!!!!!
Well 100% of the comments love the cover and the performance and etc. I will be the bad guy loL. In fact, this is an awesome cover but there were 2 things I didn't like at all. First, the drummer is real good so he does deserve at least one more tom for christ sake, the lack of it forces him to compensate it by using more snare. And second, from 7:32 why the f**k is the guitar player playing, this mini bit is BASS TIME, the guitar will eventually shine, but you should mute your guitar and let the bass player start that intro. Other than that, perfect version.
What impresses me most? The drummer.
I've checked all sorts of covers from of 60s and prog rock and the surest fuckup is the drums. This guy hits the razor's edge between playing like Nick Mason and rocking the tune out.
Overall a complete success. Even when they went off script it worked. I was supposed to be in bed 20 minutes ago. Oh well.
Are you kidding me?!?! Bass KILLED it!
His drumming is great, but has too much snare work in my opinion. Really excessive snare.
@@parsa_4 Well, I just listened to it a year later. Still digging the drums. Again though I was comparing this drummer to drummers in other prog rock covers and he did better than a lot of them, that's all.
Too much snare? I only caught that once and my guess is that it has more to do with the kit than the guy, but I'm not a drummer.
@@pattvernon That's tricky. The video didn't do the bassist justice. You never see the guy work. it's easy to forget that he's holding down grooves and following runs. He only seemed to get camera time for the Big Note stuff.
At a certain point in life there was a twist in the plot and Pink Floyd became the music of adults.
Probably the best reproduction I’ve ever heard of anyone covering another band’s song. Simply incredible.
Without blackie start and Pbass 😂
22 minutes without a major fuck up is incredible, amazing
It's edited, not one take. The lead had socks and shoes on at one point and then just magically had them off.
You guys just left a 63 year old rocker with a big smile on my face
In what way do these Tracks "rock"
@@ggkitchener1122 failing to see the part where anyone says that this track specifically 'rocks'
@@Will-tl5vx then why would a semf declared 63 yr old rocker loke it then
Doh.
@@ggkitchener1122 I'm a drum an bass fan and I like this, does that mean I'm saying this is a good DnB track? No
@@Will-tl5vx casuistry my friend why did he highlight rocker credentials then? Pointless in context
The multi panel shot during the guitar solo was straight out of the 60s/70s and cracked me up. Felt like Pompeii!
As soon as I saw that, I thought “someone’s seen Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii.” 😀😀😀
I also liked how first the solo was a mix of the live in Pompeii version, the original album version, and his own originality.
I have adhd and not taking meds at the moment...i watched this whole thing without looking away once. Incredible.
It’s so easy to screw up this cover but you guys did an incredible job. Keep it up
Actually wasn't expecting something that good, nice job so far
Kkkkkkkkk
It’s a collective hard work guys pls don’t ignore the bass/rhythm 🎸’st.
@@nileshmakwana9595 right after the organ. 🎹
I just want to add, they almost made me cry
Never knew Pink Floyd could sound so good and it not be Pink Floyd playing.
That was amazing 🤘🤘
And on a Les Paul!
@@johnb7889 unit, I’m not a fan of fender guitar but to get the Floyd I would get one. Bloody good job they did
I would pay to watch this live
Me too id pay just for this one song and be satisfied.
Id pay even more if they did a concert with the following set list:
In the flesh?
Shine on you crazy Diamond 1-5
More blues
Embryo
Breathe
On the run
Time
Great gig in the sky
Echoes
Any colour you like
Brain damage
Eclipse
Have a cigar
Wish you were here
Shine on you crazy Diamond 6-9
Outside the wall
@rnw2032 burning bridges would be really nice aswell. And careful with that axe Eugene
Me too but the bass player would need to change his pants. Crime those.
I must tell the truth... I cried when saucerful of secrets started....tremendous performance
Y’all seriously killed this. Wish I had friends with my music taste to play this with
Same bro nobody appreciates the floyd
All my friends with my music taste are ppl like you, in the YT comments section :) . I have nowhere else to share my enthusiasm, since most folks like mainstream pop music.
@@user2j3ycg4df yep man they like justin bieber
Seems to me you need new friends
this
I spent 5 happy years as a keyboard player in a Floyd tribute band.
I love the way you've captured the "sound" - with all the "light & shade".
I'm too old and decrepit to play live any longer (just studio these days) but I'm happy to "pass the mantle" to talented young players like you.
I love it - keep it live 😀🎸🎵🎶🎶🎹🎹👋👋👍👍
Paul.
Truly outstanding lads👍🔥
Nothing makes me happier to see some of the younger generation figuring out how songs like Echoes was so completely awesome - and then doing it themselves.
There is hope for the future.
Well done, guys. Keep running with the torch!
The musicianship was spectacular.. but the vocals captured this song perfectly, a lot of people don’t capture the vocal power of this song but nice job!
Na the vocals were good
Who is singing harmony?
Right on. Amazing vocal performance.
Seems he may be using a vocal harmonizer, which would be unfortunate. I hate those things. Or maybe it's somebody off camera singing.
You have single handedly restored my faith in the youth of today. Outstanding job.
Boomer
Exactly what i was thinking ! Keep hope, brother !
High hopes on 'em.
You need to listen to more music lol
Said every generation ever
Been a PF fan since 1972 - you guys did a great job here, really captured the essence of this great track -BRAVO.
Just so wonderful to see young musicians not only playing this fantastic music but also showing so much respect to David, Roger, Richard and Nick. Bloody brilliant.
I'm shocked how good this is. I didn't expect much, but you made me cry on A Saucerful Of Secrets.
been listening to Floyd for 40 years. Almost cried! Rock on!
10 out of 10 performance , fantastically executed, talent galore here, Pink Floyd the band would be very impressed by this for sure.
the drummer and guitarist play EXACTLY like nick and dave
Wow great job guys, God knows that took a lot of work. F**in nailed it!
A masterful cover dudes. Pink Floyd would be proud no doubt.
These kids today with their crazy music!
Glad to see the kids of tomorrow are enjoying it as well!
I remember my then high school aged son was telling me about the "atmosphere" at the Firefly festival when Imagine Dragons was playing Radioactive and I was thinking to myself I saw Pink Floyd @ RFK Stadium and you're going to talk to me about atmosphere? Now he's 26 plays guitar and jams out to Floyd, Rush and Zeppelin. I am proud.
A left handed Dave Gilmour 😆
A decent cover, very impressed 👏🏻
I'm back after months watching again this amazing guys playing ECHOES and Saucerful.
Pink Floyd forever young!.
Holy shit how am I only just now finding this?!? This is amazing
Guys!!! This is one of the best covers for the echoes I ever heard! Thank you. You ROCK
As a nearly 60 year old Pink Floyd fan, you guys did an amazing job. Impressed!!
A Great tribute guys, a cool version. A shame I didn't see this Vid until now, 22/4/2023
it is so good to see guys of your age digging Floyd, my favourite band of all time. Hey I am 76.
Guitar, Blues harmonica & Vocals ~~~ Semi-Retired > Great sound lads !
Exzellent gemacht! Jeder einzelne von euch! Bravo!
omg finally, some one of around my age that enjoys Pink Floyd.. There's hope in this world. Thank you
I wanted to skip the video in first minute itself as sound was different than PF. But the way u carried it took me through the entire video. Much appreciated.
true.
I’m completely blown away.
This was unbelievably surreal and beyond exceptional.
Holy cow. Thank you for this wonderful share. Instant FAV.
Experience GRUHAK version.
That slide technique is marvelous, blew my mind
This guitar sound reminds me to warm summer open air nights. So helpful during covid 19. Thanks!
best cover of echoes
Thank you very much for these 22 dreamy minutes on my living room screen! 👍
Guys! I m tore apart with your sound!!! Drums!!!
this is the best cover dat i've seen frfr
"Echoes" is my favorite song since I was 10 (I'm 58) and you guys did a great job!
Amazing all of the band. Special mention to the guitarist pulling out those tones without a tremelo arm
i have heard these 2 songs probably 1000 times sometimes 100% strait sometimes 100% off my head,,,
what you guys have re created is nothing short of brilliance absolutely loved every second ,,,, you really have made me a very happy old dude love And thanks from guru
OH MY GOD YES, You covering Echoes on its own was great, but then also including the best part of Saucerful of Secrets really took this whole experience to the next level.
Holy crap, this is a REALLY good cover!
I believe that only the size of the room and the neighbors around did not allow the guys to turn in the full power. I think that if the performance took place in a stadium, with a huge and powerful speakers and powerful bass, everyone would think that someone just opened the portal to 1971. Great job!
Finally a drummer who kept it original and simple!
I feel like they are all in different worlds but play together perfectly
I have never seen something as beautiful as this. You have all my heart and all my soul.
Assolutamente SPLENDIDI.... Sono cresciuto con i Pink Floyd.... Sono parte di me... 😍
Best cover of echoes on UA-cam. Love this guy's voice too
Tocar Pink Floyd não é somente tocar a música e repetir notas - Quem se aventura a tocar a banda é necessário entender e conhecer a essência de cada música, e deixar os sentimentos correrem solto no instrumento.
{Echoes, Hey You, Coming Back to Life} é a prova disso.
Parabéns aos integrantes. Encarnaram muito bem a música (Houve muito sentimento envolvido).
Concordo.
I was 15 when A Saucerful of Secrets was released and you guys have just transported me back to that wonderful time in my life. What a fabulous decade the 1960s was for a teenager to grow up in. As I look around at what's on offer for a 2020s teen it makes me want to scream. An awesome performance by all 👍😊
Hutab! Macht weiter so! 😊❤😊
There’s a call and response between the organ and the guitar during the gentle part at the end (in Floyd’s version) that is one of my favorite moments in music.
Your take on this song was lovely. Here’s another sub! :)
I’m so glad to hear this!!! I’ve been a fan of Pink Floyd since Piper at the Gates was released and I was about 12. I saw them in San Francisco in 1971 and this is a beautiful performance that took me right back! Excellent 🙏
To see Pink Floyd live... You oldheads have been lucky.
Incredible performance, that transition to echoes pt 2 was absolutely phenomenal
I have to admit when I first clicked on this I wasn't expecting much..... man was I wrong, that was about as clean as you can get .... you guys are completely sick.... This was the first PF song I heard as a kid, so echoes is special to me..... thanks 4 sharing
One of the best covers I've ever seen
You guys totally had to have been happy with that one! You really did a great job! Using Sauceful of Secrets to tie the two parts of Echoes together was brilliant! You really captured the felling of the Pompeii recordings! Very enjoyable!
2 of my fav floyd songs thank you for this🤍
My algorithm blessed me with this on my homepage. It's just amazing. Congratulations!
Outstanding guys! it's very emotional to see young guys "centennials" playing with this quality and very good taste on music. Grettings from Puerto Rico... Saludos! Keep going!
I was looking for a saucerful of secrets cover. This is a treat, well done.
Was typing and missed the end you were all smiling ! Keep up the good work , stay well gentlemen!
thanks a lot! Im not so much old, but a true PF fan. this souds very alive. please go on!

I play your video everyday this week, best Echoes cover I've heard. The bass guy is cool xD
Greetings from México !
Saludos brooo
Been a Floyd fan since forever mostly the early Floyd, this is just absolutely tremendously brilliant!!
That's violin sound make's me cryes. All of you guys so lucky that's you can play this together as one! It's rare! Hello from Moscow!

this has made my sunday morning !!...excellent job...that smile at 7.26...witrh music, all is right with the world
I clicked on the video, went to the kitchen to make a coffee, when I heard the music playing I thought I had clicked onto the original Pompei video. So young, so talented. Loved it. Keep it up guys. I am going to subscribe and check out your other vids now. Ive been listening to Pink floyd for 30 odd years, well done from a Pink floyd fan from New zealand.
Nice work, Pink Floyd would be proud to hear that coved. Nick Masons saucer full of secrets brought me here.
You did an amazing job. This is the best Echoes cover ive ever seen. It captured the PF essence. You respected the band and put some of your style. Amazing, guys
Take it from someone who has been stoned to this way more times than he should. This is excellent. Very well done. Impressive as hell. You have the ‘Tight but Loose’ groove.
best song ever made by pink floyd , y’all did so well
Tears in me eyes boys.... Wow
Wow, wow, wow !!!!!
