Holy fuck. This is tremendous. Nobody told me about this great gig in the field!
Hahahaha it was secret :) although there were ‘Animals’ in the surrounding fields ;)
This is incredible. It’s weird that it makes me this happy to know all that gear is together & in the hands of someone who cares for it this well, well enough to have given it another chance to sing like this. What a beautiful moment.
PINK

CRAZY SETTING AND. . .
PERFECT RENDITION 🥰
Glad you enjoyed it. It was a very special day
This is an amazing recreation! All the sounds and filming are there! 😁
We used to smoke weed with this and what a experience the best
They even got the same mics as Pompeii. Well done dudes!
Ewans last drum fill before the funky section was a 1 for 1 exact replica of Nick Mason's. Perfect!
Love Ewan’s playing (and he’s a super nice guy!)
He couldn't have done the song better all by himself...
What a superb cover this is! Would love to play through that set up
It's such a great rig! Heavy though :) I wouldn't want to move it every day
This is terrific. Listened to it three times, and can keep listening.
Saying this is only 1% as cool as the original.... actually makes this still PRETTY DAMN COOL! 😎😁😅🤩👍
Bloody hell lads that's a quality cover of my favourite Floyd song ❤
Steve Mac is the shizzle that we all dizizzle !!!!
Amazing!
Bravooooo from Chile 🇨🇱😎👌👏👏👏👏

Whoever is singing ricks part sounds really similar to him! Awesome performance
Excelent! 😎😎 In Mexico we love Pink Floyd, Thanks for share this epic song
just wow. this can be a reference for our group that will be doing a live Pompeii tribute
there should be millions of views and millions of likes on this video.
the beginnig woth the slide guitar is soo good
They are all such great musicians. I'm glad to have been part of the day!
fantastic, gentlemen! While the vintage equipment helps, the musicianship puts this one over the top! Thank you for sharing this performance with us.
I want to make people aware that the drummer, Ewan Cunningham, has more amazing Pink Floyd covers on his channel. He set up his equipment in an empty concert hall (Dobbie Hall) and filmed himself playing all the instruments and performing all the vocals. He then assembled the footage so it looked like there were four of him playing simultaneously. Great playing and production.
Wow! I can tell a lot of work went into this. Sound and video work are excellent! Great performance as well!
Well Done Gents!!!👏👏👏👏👍👍✌️

@@TroglodyteMusic cool. Thanks for that! What a treat
I love you!
Superb work!
Brilliant cover! 👏
Realmente impresionante,,,, fantástico 🔉👌
this video deserves 10m views
Well what can I say that was more than impressive. Having had live in pompeii on VHS and then dvd and listened and watched 100s of times the louder the better!!!! I really wasn't expecting much from this recreation but was excellent full marks to all involved I bet the sound was fantastic in my opinion you can't beat the old equipment. That speaker with the pink floyd stamp on the back was that original?? I wonder if any of the floyd have watched this? I'm sure they'd be impressed.
I believe some of the cabs are old Floyd ones and some are just equivalent cabs from that era. (I will ask Chris for you next time I see him and let you know). I have heard a rumour that 1 might have... :). Glad you liked it. It was such a great day and a wonderful team of people to work with.
@@TroglodyteMusic thanks for the reply it would be really interesting to know if that speaker was actually there it would be worth a fortune and still working what a bonus. Excellent stuff cheers 🥂
Unreal…crazy you guys did that
Something a bit different to do on a Sunday afternoon :)
Amazing! Well done!
Wonderful ❤
Grande Cover. Una delle migliori che ho ascoltato. Brano indimenticabile
Amazing ! Congrats! It sounds even better than original one !
Muito Foda❤
and hey evan cunningham i haven‘t seen any pink covers from you in a long time😅
He's amazing!
Strange that the HIWATTs are not turned on and one doesn't even have a cord in the Bulgin socket...
The Australian Pink Floyd should use this rig all the time. They actually sound quite good or maybe it's the drummer?
Why didnt you guys actually use the hammond?
Om ni hade vinklat micken uppåt hade ni kunnat hålla den underifrån osynlig från kameran.
pretty much spot-on! Just guitar needs to be washier.
heeeey! Nice try. I am not a musician. I am only PF fan. So feel free to disagree with my opinion, thought looks like this is some attempt, because in various places are some imperfections, e.g. lead guitar at 2:42 or keyboard at 7:43...7:50, and of course unbalanced focusing on the drum. Drums are too loud. But you all are great and Thank You for this! Ewan , nice to see you here! Why you did not cloned yourself this time ? ;)
Pompeii version has imperfections too, keep in mind. Nick drags to a noticeable degree and his fills / cymbalwork are more crude when compared to the album version, and that's just the first thing off the top of my head. I think these guys nailed it, the sound and tones are surprisingly on point, they just had the occasional "hiccup" (more like a brief sigh) which is going to happen with long ass songs like this, even the Floyd had their moments.
Careful with that clipboard Eugene!
The organ sounds really bad.
Amazing!!!
