#OzzyOsbourne #PerryMason #LiveVideo #Ozzfest #Ozzy
One of Ozzy’s most under rated songs. The riff is vicious.
underrated my ass. millions and millions of views on the edited music video alone....and 5 stars on the Ozzsmosis album
Definitely... I like No More Tears but this one hits so much harder to want that hard energy for a show!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Eh no not underrated. Lol Every ozzy fan knows this is top 10
U damn right buddy
Joe Holmes one of the greatest guitarist players Ozzy ever had. Incredible job at playing Sir Mr Randy Rhodes Brilliant masterpieces!
It never ceases to amaze me how Ozzy can't even remember what planet he's on, but he remembers the lyrics to his songs.
1:46 with a little help from the teleprompter
@@jtwilliams8895 Ahh that explains it. I didn't see that the first time around.
I think he is pretty down to earth actually, just a little hard to understand at times later on in years, maybe due to the form of Parkinson's. He actually was working out a lot around this time period, and he looked to be in pretty good shape here, after pudgy Ozzy from the 80's.
@@synthesis12 Maybe I'm just used to seeing the most infamous Ozzy moments (reality TV show) where it seemed like he had no idea what was going on at all.
Look at the floor of the stage right in front of Ozzy as it shows him singing from behind him. You can see him reading the lyrics off a monitor.
Robert Trujillo: bass
Joe Holmes: guitars
Mike Bordin: drums
John Sinclair: Keys
@@samlumsdendrums thanks
I love how Ozzy just consistently surrounds himself with a Murderer's Row of musicians regardless of the era...
Awesome that Deen Castronovo laid the drum tracks for this album!
Who sings
I forgot how awesome Joe Holmes is as a guitar player! And Trujillo on bass and Bordin on drums just rounds out this powerhouse team of badass musicians. This is amazing! 😊
One of Ozzy's most underrated albums, one of the ones that got me into metal to begin with.
Ozzy threw a bucket of water on me on the mid 90’s retirement sucks tour . It was awesome .
Me and my dad used to listen to this exact live version all the time when I was younger. (10-11). He died from suicide 4 years ago and I just found this version, which I hadn’t heard since way back. Gives me goosebumps. Rock on
Sorry to hear about your dad bro
Yea sorry for your loss dude. He brought you up well on good music.
@@adylongmate9307 yes he did!
My sympathies to you brother...
Hope ur ok dude
25 years this jewell
love this fuckin old man
oh me too
not really old here -mid 40's
Ozzy was always old, even in his 20s.
+yiannis clerides he's 48 here
Ozzy is born 1948 but I still love this fucking old man too...really! And he es sober now and with Sharon together again,yeah.....
I feel sorry for the Oz man because he can’t perform like he used to 40 years ago but he has a band behind him that still kicks ass!!!
Man. The guitar playing in this song is so heavy.
Joe Holmes, one of the most "forgot about" guitarist who was in Ozzy. Spider fingers. (OMG his fingers, uncanny) A BEAST! Oh yea, by the way he was taught by the great Randy Rhoads. You can tell by the way he holds the guitar.
Joe Holmes is the freaking man. By far, the most overlooked and underappreciated Ozzy guitarist. It really sucks that he didn't get the opportunity to record an album with Ozzy. It is also really cool that he took lessons from Randy Rhoads.
He couldn't write. That's why they had to replace him on down to earth. There's a few songs listed with him as co writer.
Agree. As a matter of fact Zakk is the lesser of all the players for ozzy
Ozzy always has had the sickest guitarists on the planet 🌎 playing for him...
I actually like him better than Zakk.... please don't hammer on me haha
@@scottydog62 to be fair, Zakk had his own thing. Holmes didn't try to put his own spin on things here, he could do the Zakk thing, the Randy thing, anything
@@davidjameschamberlain Again it's a personal preference to my ears, the style thing ,Joe does have his own style ,listen to his solo stuff.
I just like his way of playing during his time with Ozzy , it didn't matter if he was doing Randy's Jake's or Zakk's,
I am not talking about original creativity or the awesome original songs ,I just like how he plays the songs during his time with Ozzy.
I would never say hes better than the othed 3 I just like his spin on things his tone ,ferocity ,yet he pretty much stays still on stage though.
Trujillo is my favorite bass player , His tone ,ferocity
not too fancy
not too simple
perfect
Just my personal opinions
@@scottydog62 I wasn't saying that as a diss. He was able to take all of the eras of ozzy and mix them into one
@@davidjameschamberlain I did not take it as a diss, I was just elaborating.✌
The band is on fire here. Joe is his most underrated guitarist and his playing here is savage. What a great era.
Oh for sure. Joe took lessons from the late great Randy Rhoads.
He's no Zakk Wylde.
@@NickySpades definitely he is not Zakk. He is much better than Zakk
Better than Zakk? You're high?
@@jwjejejejjejeje395 no, I'm not high... yet, and yes, he is better than Zakk (mr. pentatonic) Wylde
“Its fucking good to be the king” best Ozzy line period
Most impressive part is Robert putting his shoes and socks on while playing between 1:38 and 1:43.
LOL it's magic baby!
wtf jajajajajaja
HAHAHAAAA!
LOL...! That's the unfairly non-famous "Trujillo Magic Shoe Trick"! You know, something similar happens around 5:13 and 5:18, Ozzy gets rid of that magic hose FAST…!
😂😂😂😂 LMAO!!
I remember seeing this on a Metal Hammer VHS in the 90s. Went straight out and bought his solo records. What an introduction to Ozzy!
I saw Ozzy in NYE ‘95. Papa Roach and Korn opened. Saw Joe on guitar, Geezer on bass. Unbelievable show.
No, It wasn't Papa Roach they didn't come out until years after that, it was Korn and Deftones and it was the Retirement Sux tour
@@leadme2thebliss21 no it was papa roach and Korn. I still have the tix. But thanks for telling me what I did in 1995 when I was 15 🫠
Could have been 96 actually but it was Korn and PR. Denver at the pepsi center
@@zombieparrot2606 I doubt it was PR unless they were opening up for Korn and Ozzy...their debut album didn't even come out until 1997. I'm not doubting you, you may have seen that tour but around 1995 through 1996 PR had only released a demo by that time...
The last great era of Ozzy.
This song has such a rockin groove. Robert Trujillo is a good fit for Ozzy or any band. He is a seasoned bassist and he is animated. Not just a background guy that nobody remembers.
Well said
ALL TRUE considering - the original disk version was mostly symphony instruments in much of that song -
He was so good w BLS
no more tears he was out slammin on his bass in bare feet . wicked intro and joe hit with the guitar fuckin killer . total different song live
Yay...2 years go by and I find my comment on here as I revisit the song because it is one of my faves. Since then I have learned that Zakk was just playing around with this song and Ozzy liked it.
Always a joy to watch Mike bordin drumming, he's a machine
Long live the Prince of Darkness! 🤘🎸✝️🦇🇬🇧
🤯🤯🤯🤯 NO WORDS!! BEST FRONTMAN EVER !!
There's one thing you can say ozzy always had a good eye for picking guitarist. I think the bass work is phenomenal in this song
Trujillo on bass and Bordin on the drums just killing it
If they don’t play this song at my funeral I ain’t going.
I recently became aware of Joe Holmes, what a talent and a beast.
Talented he is and a beast he is he's also a student of Randy Rhoads if you listen to a live version of I don't know you can hear Randy Rhoads in the mix especially if it's Joe Holmes playing you'll find out a lot about Joe Holmes and a whole host of other guitar players that went to the school as well
Joe's currently working on a new album. His music with Farmikos was amazing.
@@ALbaby869 an email to EMG would be a good way to confirm
@@bluwng Getting info. from Joe.
@@ALbaby869 ha, sorry replied to wrong message.
Joe Holmes is a FORCE OF THE NATURE!
God bless Ozzy Osbourne 💙 Stay safe and healthy ❤️💙♥️
What an insane lineup
The one, the only, Mike Borden on drums. I have always been a big fan of his.
PUFFY, YES!!!! Adore him...so underrated!
puff
Can you believe Trujillo even had to audition for Metallica? The man is a bass mutant.
Yeah but I hate the way he crabs around the stage and wears Brazilian beachwear.
Adam Varney It's just his thing, let him have some fun!
Ozzy chooses only the best!
@@adamski101 lol
Yeah hetfield and co wishes to be on trujillos level, but man that aint never gonna happen.
All the way back in 1999 when I was 13 my friend Jer insisted this song play on the radio, Power 97.5 Winnipeg. This ended up being my first favourite Ozzy song. Although I'd go on to love the Randy Rhoads era more than any other, Ozzmosis remains one of the favourite albums of all time for me. Btw, my friend Jer who I regarded as a brother, died this past December (2019) at 34 years old. This particular song reminds me of him now. Jer taught me how to stay alive on the streets, I will never forget him or Ozzy's impact upon on my life. God bless you Ozzy, may the spirit of your music (and all the brilliant musicians + writers involved) live forever.
Hello Tryndamere
No one beatz Ozzy; however the first time I hear Sepultura was at this concert (austin, texas). Best... Mosh... pit.... ever.
Ozzy, a KING in his time!
Man, I remember that Ozzfest tour. Joe Holmes is a beast. I wish we got more of him.
RIP RANDY CASTILLO. December 18, 1950 - March 26, 2002
I bought this VHS when it was new and I was 10 I grew up on ozzy I was 3 when I first heard blizzard of ozz and been here since
Ozzy always gets the best band mates, but never keeps them...from the very beginning!!!! Of his career!!!!
Sharon fires them. Ozzy isn't allowed to deal with any of it.
I saw This tour front row with Joe Holmes . He is great , I think criminally under rated .
Robert is a Monster. Awesome musician.
😂
Im 57 just an old hippie love ozzy been a fan all my life, hes also my best friend!! ONLY 1, ONLY OZZY!!!
I had this on an old Kerrang VHS! Monster! 🤟
"Bark at the moon" - one of ozzy's classics and a live staple, ozzy at an outdoor show points out the full moon to the audience and has them howl as the band launch into..... Perry Mason....
I'm haunted of the day of Ozzy's last phase on Earth.
The man that gave me so much. Over and over again.
Zakk performed with Ozzy on tour from 1988 to 2018! My god! 🎸
Ozzy siendo Ozzy, rodeado de Bordin, Holmes y Trujillo, qué banda !!!
Back when rock n roll was still fun. I miss these days.
+Landen York Me too, when a live show meant fun and frienship with everybody, then drinking with artists after the show.
Make Rock n Roll Great Again!
And no disgusting "VIP tickets" back then, everyone shared the same area, and it was a blast
@@FeelingShred Biggest reasons I hate even going to concerts now..
Me, too!!!
Joe Holmes is killer I saw him at ozzfest 2000! He nailed all the solos perfect!!
Joe took guitar lessons from the late Randy Rhoads.
I agree very good player, Zero presence
eric edmunds I didn’t follow Ozzy through the 90’s much. Alternative took over. I was bummed. That guitarist rips!!!
He actually didn't do this one perfect lol
He's fucking killing it, and his rhythm work is absolutely smoking the piss out of Zakk Wylde.
Watching this video never gets old. The best live Ozzy recording in existence. Holmes rocked so hard man.
“It’s fucking good to be the King”- Ozzy Osbourne.
Well, Ozzy, you are the ‘King of Metal’ 👑👑👑
This was literally the first show I ever attended (yep I was there a 15 year old kid). My dad and I were icicles after the gig. Thanks Dad! Can't believe someone got such good footage. I remember the entire show Ozzy, Slayer, Danzig Sepultura (with Max and Igor), Biohazard, Fear Factory, Neurosis and King Norris... I'll never forget it! Appreciate the upload.
Epic
First heard it in 1995 and still listening to it until now with my wife and kids. Will never get tired of listening to this one.
🤘
Joe Holmes is a badass. Killer player. Maybe one Ozzys best. Wish he put out more music
This was my favorite song when I was like 10 years old. Now I'm 34 and it still makes me bang my head. Stood the test of time 😎
ozzy never disappoints
Charlton Heston right, absoluteley
I was at this OZZFEST I remember this well 😎👍🤘
I have a classmate who got into a head on collision with a Coors Light Truck because of a Frost Heave while blasting this song in his 2001 Bravada...He's currently a Marine Drill Sargent of 12yrs with 15 tours overseas in New Hampshire.... The Power of the Ozz Man is real
4:58 Nice work, Ozzy
She's probably a grandmother now... LOL
LOL NICE
Probably but... still listening to good music!!!

Joe Holmes is so good guitarrist. Great concert in Mexico City 1995, Ozzy with Geezer Butler, Deen Castronovo and Mr. Joe Holmes!!!
I thought he was Zakk!!!!!!
Pepe Carreto paradise lost was the opening act! Great concert!
One of the best songs by Ozzy ever
Great band !!. I love you ozzy ✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️
Always loved this song. That riff is heavy as fuck!!!
the solo is fucking epic.
it's well constructed. not just mindless up and down shredding
Thai has always been one of my fovourite songs from Ozzy.
credits one wylde, zakk
@@chrisstratton2191 that aint zakk ive never ever seen zakk play a fender haha
I may not have the bones to see ozzy live these days but I’m very grateful for the chance to see ozzy at ozzfest twice and I’ll never forget such a great show
AAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOZZYYY🐺🤘😃👌
Ozzy Osbourne is the true king of England. Keep rocking Ozzy we love you and your music... Long live the true king of rock n roll...
Joe Holmes underrated fuckin awesome guitarist
I saw him with DLR on Little Aint Enought tour and he was just mind blowing. Those were some shoe to fill. Sorry about Jason Becker not being able to do tour.
Well he's famous for being one of Randy Rhoads students...
He plays this riff pretty well. Raped that Strat
he certainly play the crap out of that strat, but he just doesn't have the heavy sound/tone for it.
Saw the Little ain't enough tour too in Toulouse back in France and he was absolutely unbelievable there .
Guess he might have been better suited to that gig with DLR.
A monster player though!!!!
You got that right LouieBlu!!!! F****ing Awesome.
Anyone else crack up at him getting the crowd to start chanting "Bark at he Moon!" then playing Perry Mason?
This is an encore, so I'm guessing he played BATM earlier. It's good he didn't call it "Bark at the Moon and Nosferatu" or something, because that acronym isn't nearly as cool.
Absolutely, he telling them that they are part of the show , and he ain’t paying them to just sit there 👍😃😂❤️😘😎😎😎
LOVE OZZY ALWAYS HAVE ALWAYS WILL
🇦🇷 cuarentena despejando mi mente con ozzy....

Ozzy - это легенда. Его голос не зависит от времени
Joe Holmes just kills it.
Met Joe Holmes on this tour, by the bus before there was a such thing as meet n greets... he was a very nice guy and we talked about him getting guitar lessons from Randy Rhoads.
Ozzie is the best.🎶
Thanks to The Gods For Giving Us OZZY
I actually forgot that Robert played with Ozzy, he's a freaking beast on bass. Also that no-shoes-to-shoes moment was awesome
Trujillo one of the best bass player !!!🎸🔥❤️🎸
Reminds me when I was 13. Ozzy really changed my life. I remember growing my hair really long.
Mike Inez and Randy Castillo is the best Ozzys bass&drum group ! massive and clear !
Any day Robert shows up,

1:38 NO SHOES!
1:43 YES SHOES!
WTF?!?
two days of record video man, simple.
Saubhagya Das Joe's guitar changes color too.
At least the editing isn't as bad as Van Halen's Live: Right Here, Right Now where the band are wearing different clothes and eddie/michael's guitars change shot to shot in some songs
The VHS/DVD of Ozzy's "Live & Loud" had the same editing.
The entire venue changes shot to shot on Live and Loud.
They seriously need to do a proper blu-ray remaster of that stuff. Audio primarily, obviously. I was surprised going back how bad the sound was even on the CD. Just Say Ozzy has far and away better sound, although that isn't really live.
I Just love OZZY
Can't help but think most people here at this show expectex to hear Bark at the Moon after that into, not Perry Mason.. Mind you, Perry Mason is the exact song I came to hear this time! Ozzmosis rules.
Joe Holmes playing the fuck outta that dirty stray though. 😎 I like it!

Awesome track..I like how Ozzy went with the homeless theme with his band mates.
Lol
The bass and drums sound so perfect in the mix
I was 22 and FINALLY got to see Black Sabbath in November of '78, on the 'Never Say Die' tour, then Ozzy was kicked out. So I had to wait until 1996, and Ozzy came back to our area. Sepultura and Type O Negative were the opening acts. THEN Ozzy did a two and a half hour set. I'm glad that I saw him in '96, because he was in good shape and health. He never stopped moving around, his voice was in form, and he put on a kickass concert. Since the early'70s, I have been to many concerts and saw some outstanding ones. I have been listening to Sabbath since '71, but Ozzy's '96 performance of his songs and Sabbath songs is one of those things that, as a longtime fan, you can never forget.
Robert is fukn a animal on bass fuk me the man is one the best I’ve ever listened and saw brilliant
incredible line-up Black Sabbath , Ozzy , faith no More , Metalica !!!
sean Decastro don't forget rob was in BLS and suicidal tendencies
Who are the guitar player and drummer?
@@czarnpg Joe Holmes is guitarist (Rhandy Student) and the Drummer is Faith No More
