I've owned this car since 2016. I have never been to a dealer with any problems after 30k miles, and I offroad it regularly. It's a dream car for its purpose.
@@corpnupe85 I would go for a 2020 since they did a facelift that will stay fresh for a couple of years. You can skip it if you don't care about that stuff.
Love my 19. Beautiful...Capable...Dependable...Reliable....Just might be the best out there. V8...6speed...NonGdi...Full time 4wd...Locking Diff...Crawl Control...Kdss...Height Adjustable....True Body on Frame....Levinson Audio...Made in Japan...Dosen't get better then The Gx460.
This is the benefit of the KDSS suspension, can stiffen up and handle off road, while handling curves and highway like a car, switched to one of these after years in a 4runner and the two do not compare as far as a driving experience
TheDriveGuyde I recognized you were driving Calgary to Canmore. I live in Airdrie and I own a lifted 2018 4runner TRD off road on 33's. I know a ton of spots to test out off road vehicles west of the city :) I'd be happy to show you if you are interested. Cheers!
I hope Lexus updates the infotainment and gadgetry to compete with the latest stuff out there right now at this price point. I would rather get the Suburban or the F250 at this price
rubiks15 I understand your point, American cars just aren’t built the same. But we talking about trucks here and that’s different because F series trucks and Chevy trucks are built really well. A platinum F-250 with a 6.2 diesel will wow you with its luxury, just have a look. And honestly, ppl don’t own their trucks for 10+ years anymore. But these vehicles will last u. The Lexus is just behind especially when paying close to $100k

@Headwhacker Not great. 15-18mpg depending on place and conditions. I tend to average between 17 and 18.
I am considering trading in my 2017 BMW X5 for a 2018/2019 GX 460.

I love my 2015 GX Luxury. It’s absolutely amazing.
Home come he doesn’t know what the comfort and sport mode is all about. Hmmm 🤔
Still have it? Love it?
Finally a Car Commentator who’s tall, thin, gorgeous & who dress beautiful 😍Excellent review! 😎

Good review, enjoyed it. Would have liked to see some offroad footage, but not sure I'd want to take a borrowed 80k vehicle off road either!
Would love to trek out to some off roading courses but I don’t know if there’s any near by. Currently looking into it!!

Um, that's not a 2017 per the Title? Looks pre 2014 based on the rear lights? Leigh Diffey talking?
Could've been a mod; but, yeah that definitely stood out since I didn't hear it mentioned.
With V8 308hp and you consider little, really? It is not really a big suv, actually quite narrow like 4runner. Sequoia and lexus lx470 lx570 are big
The offroading tank
So, what kind of gas mileage does a tank without treads get?
It’s mentioned right near the beginning.
I get about 11mpg in the city with 33" tires and a lift. I get about 15mpg on the freeway.
mpgs= 😢
Awesome 😀 😀 2017 Lexus GX 460 off road review .

That...well...that is an interesting outfit
301 hp.
Close to a truck...it is a truck
Great SUV but front grill looks hideous
they look great compared to the hideous 2020 model. IMO.
