here's a tip for your game:
make sure that the pixel art style is consistent!
your player has a complicated outline, while everything else has a black outline
    make sure it's consistent!

Great tutorial. I like your mining game too. One little advice: you could animate the arms in the jumping animation. See ya.

Good tutorial, though it does not look good, because you have animated only legs

Great tutorial man,do you have any future ideas for implementing your game? So i will add them to my watch list hehe.

Are you asking about future features im planning to implement in my game? Well at least in the near future, im planning to add sword slash combinations, spawning enemies, enemy AI, storage chests, and probably implement some basic player stats (str, int, dex, etc). Im also planning to add some form of ranged attacks (magic/arrows).

Why do you have a sprite with flipped variations? Just add flipping in the animation. Also, flipping is better done on the scale.x (I have parent Node2D) so it flips raycast2D and other direction dependant things.

Yeah you're totally right, flipping in the animation makes more sense and will save on memory, but I plan to have some of the sprites in my game to have some variation when flipped (e.g. accessory, and shirts) so I wanted to have that flexibility when I do add those variations.
