    I really admire your cleverness, your shop is so beautiful and sure a business comes out, the ingredients are all organic products and made into soap, I see it is a job but worth doing.... buy and send it as gifts....wish we can try....your soap, as cleansing and skin clear ....healthy soap to use.

    I am getting interested on making soap. But still not ready and searching for a simple, strategies,, so far I've been watching different kinds of videos regarding soap making,, so many ideas and techniques,, I guess it is not the good videos and preparation I am looking to but the person itself who is wholeheartedly giving all that she/he can,, I think You are one of those and I am thankful I have found your videos,,Your not only sharing your soap but your perseverance on how to get on top,,I hope my English is ok,,Godbless you Ariane and more power!!

      If your interested I would suggest you start with a hot process soap. It is easy to make, and learn about soap making. Plus it cures a lot faster. Then you could move on to cold process, and/or melt and pour. I would suggest just try a small batch-you'll fall in love with making soaps. I'm not an expert-only been doing so for a little over a year, just getting into making melt and pour from scratch. Good luck to you, there are so many soap making groups on FB that you can get information from.

    • @vreed8755
      @vreed8755 9 років тому +4

      You will love it! I would start with a melt and pour. It's great knowing what is in your soap! You can add some extra ingredients such as essential oils and butters to make it your own. You should check out soapcalc.net/calc/soapcalcwp.asp. It's a great site to help with soap calculations using ingredients.

    • @karenconine963
      @karenconine963 9 років тому

      V Reed thank you for the information. I use on that site for calculations. It is the only one I can understand. I feel it is great also. I like the fact it lets me know a lot about the finished product also. Thanks to all comments.

    You are my favorite soap maker to watch. Your explanations are great. I am going to start to make soap, hopefully to sell, though starting VERY late in life, lol, My questions, like some others I read are: Where did you get that double handled knife, and how long do you keep the soap wrapped, I thought it had to be exposed to cure, or is that CP only? Would also love to know where to get the melting tank, and its proper name so I can find one. Thank you so much for the inspiration, I am dreaming again and haven't had that in a long time.

    • @ajackson1946
      @ajackson1946 5 років тому +4

      I'm sorry you never received a reply on here..but she wraps melt and pour soap to keep it from "sweating"... makes the soap look used and wet. For a melting tank, if you're just learning, invest in a small set of crockpots. They work well too. Did you ever start your soap making business?

I will send you some pictures so you will know who I am. My daughter is the massage therapist And have a skin line products I make the soap and candles for her. We are working on getting her skin products up and running. She just opened her own massage spa And I redesign closets. So now, we can get back to her skin line business. She never stopped, just had to slow down to open her spa. Just wanted to say hi. I still watch you on UA-cam. I never stop making soap either. I will come to visit your shop to buy soap one day.
