Joe is a master interviewer. But he's that way because he's real and he has so many interests. He's so conversational that it all seems so natural and I guess it really is. I'm never bored with Joes podcasts. I just need to start watching earlier in the evening. 10 minutes til 4am. And I "wake up" at 6 to get ready for work. But worth it. Especially since I've been a Rob Zombie fan since forever both his music and his movies.
🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠 You can totally tell Rob's anxiety was up there for the first several minutes. Arms crossed, figetty, fooling with the mic. I can spot a fellow introvert lol. He's still an awesome dude 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Agreed 100% i am guessing Joe or Rob had to get their ass in gear, (Rob's movie opening and the need to be present somewhere makes the most sense) because that was a great Podcast, the conversation was interesting, Joe was not ready to stick a fork in his eyes (ala Dan "WTF are you on right now dude" Akroid) and neither was i, and i am guessing that I am not alone in sharing Brian's positive feedback from this podcast. 3 hours at least without any boring bullshit at the very least. So ummm Joe "I never read the comments" Rogan, i hope you get the message and have Mr. Z back in. Lastly, i am guessing that your partners in crime here in podcast land, Diaz and maybe Ari, and Burr who does not have guests on except on the rare occasion when perhaps a hard rock musician might be someone that Burr would be stoked to have on. Now we just have to think of such a guest for Billy Freckles!

Daniel, yep. Years ago, I was living in Phoenix, at the time that Rob Halford decided to retire and he lived in Phoenix for a while. I met him at a club one night, my band was opening for another, and the buzz went through the crowd "Yo! Rob HALFORD's here!" I knew I had to speak with him, and when I actually got the chance, I was absolutely amazed at his (1) intelligence (VERY smart guy, Brit education) and (2) his gentle manner of speaking. I was completely taken aback. Super nice guy. I hope he's still doing well.
Hearing Zombie say he was shy, and Joe saying the same, gives me massive confidence. I have always been the same way & it's awesome to see my idols are similar.
Mike Milly it’s awesome!! I have a masters in film and this was really cool to watch. I actually got to meet Douglas Trumbull who was responsible for the visual effects in 2001 and close encounters of the third kind. It’s awesome how revolutionary the effects were at that time. I also agree with Zombie on Star Wars. Visual effects look great in something like the avengers, but when Lucas put new computer generated effects and mashed them in between the old puppetry and clay models, I think it looks really stupid. Up for debate of course, but I think most fans agree.
Some people do. If you've had training or just come form mean streets you make sure your not on the business end of the blade "stay calm and cut throats"
I went to a concert in 2010 that had a bunch of rock bands, including Rob Zombie. I had low expectations for his part of the concert. I thought it was just going to be seeing him sing his songs, and thought it wasn't even going to sound as good. I was blown away at how good his show was. He was on top of a pyramid that rolled out onto stage, there was porn playing on the screens behind him, and a godzilla style monster battle was happening on stage while Rob Zombie was rockin out. That was the most bad ass shit I've ever seen.
When I saw him he had fire breathing dragons behind him on stage, epic af. Joey Jordison from Slipknot was his touring drummer at that time which was badass too.

@@huliniswhoiam I wasn't involved in it it at all. The stage manager was the uncle of a family friend. Originally my mom was invited to go meet Ozzy Osbourne cause Ozzy was supposed to be filming with Rob Zombie. It was a bday present for her and I got to tag along. When we went I was a huge White Zombie fan, so I was shocked Rob Zombie was there!!!! There were sets the size of bedrooms all over the stage room about the size of a school auditorium. Rob Zombie actually came and greeted me my mom and shook our hands. He then introduced his wife to me and I got to tell him I was a huge White Zombie fan. Eventually that day I met everyone in the videos between smoking cigarettes and me running to get them drinks. It was better than any concert experience I've ever had.

Funny story about House of 1000 Corpses, as a Rob and White Zombie fan, I followed the news, and the film just wasn't being released. Even saw videos of him talking on stage about the release of the film at the time. Finally found a $1 theater showing it, called my buddy, and we drove an hour to see the film. Both of us loved it. I know Rob won't ever read this but it's a tribute to how much his fans love and respect what he does.
Rob “Sometimes people scream weird when you stab em” Zombie 😂😂

Joe is a master interviewer. But he's that way because he's real and he has so many interests. He's so conversational that it all seems so natural and I guess it really is. I'm never bored with Joes podcasts. I just need to start watching earlier in the evening. 10 minutes til 4am. And I "wake up" at 6 to get ready for work. But worth it. He is a fascinating person. It seems he has had a lot of good karma ripen in this lifetime. So many serendipities in one life time. ❤️
Daniel, yep. Years ago, I was living in Phoenix, at the time that Rob Halford decided to retire and he lived in Phoenix for a while. I met him at a club one night, my band was opening for another, and the buzz went through the crowd "Yo! Rob HALFORD's here!" Mike Milly it’s awesome!!

He puts on an amazing show that's for sure the concert I saw they had giant robots playing war drums
