That was a GREAT yard!!! OH, to have the time to get out there and snatch a couple! I gotta believe that before anything gets crushed, there is one SWEET auction just waiting to happen for 60% to 70% of those rides. I hope that this exposure can get a LOT of enthusiasts to get out there and buy something they need to start or finish a project. Cool video! Cheers!!!
That property is huge with a beautiful backdrop to go.Incredible scenic position to build a house on.Surrounded by vintage steel.I ❤it..cheers from sth Australia 🇦🇺 👍
I believe the convertible is a dart. The only way I would walk that yard knowing there’s rattlesnakes would be with metal hip waders lol. Your a brave man Ryan thanks for risking your life for our viewing pleasure
I spent my first 30 years in South Dakota so enjoy your recent trips there. I thought the two best cars in the group were the white 59 Buick Electra and the 50 Buick Special Sedanette (fastback) with the bucktooth grille. That year the ventiports were in the hood not the usual place in the fenders.
so Ryan you need to get to know your older ford trucks, 60's,70's and 80's are very collectable. If you look from the head light allllllll the way to the tail lights the belt trim area. The older trucks were called "Bump Sides" as the belt line protruded, and on the later ones like 72ish on not sure exactly, refer to "ERA Ford youtube" the belt line was recessed AKA "Dent side" I see a lot of those trucks out there
THANK YOU for providing contact info!!!! NOW, I'll watch the video - Thanks Ryan! For an extra length video tour HERE, see also a video posted yesterday by Dolloff Antigues Garage. THERE IS ALOT OF EXTREMELY VIABLE PROJECTS HERE, all from outside the rust belt - WELL worth a look.
@IowaClassicCars Ryan, you've proven that one many times. It just seemed important to say here as this collection is better than average due to the climate/environment they've been in, & sometimes saying it in the comments can lead others to it. There's SO much here that can be saved, I'm just trying to point it out to others. Thx again!
4:52 - nice bottom end 1954 Pontiac, a Chieftain Special 5:00 - a '57, but it's a similar styling theme they will carry to '59 6:45 - omg , omg ! Autronic Eyes ! 9:04 -cool futuristic beast of a truck and even no smashed winshield on this one ! 11:01 aww poor LaSabre sitting in the grass all unwanted :( 11:55 -yay a Flattop !
I'm interested in several of those vehicles, I'm located in the Antelope Valley , I wouldn't mind going and checking them out . How do I go about that?
@noworriesnocares91352.....he mentioned how to contact Nick TWICE in the video and left a phone # in description box if you're too stupid to figure it out.....maybe this isn't the project for you.....dolt.....
Starting at 14:42 it looks like there is a Fairmont 4-door followed by two wagons. Back in the day, I drove a girlfriend's new '78 Fairmont Futura on a 400 mile road trip. It had an 88 HP 4-cylinder with a manual 4-speed. On the interstate I had to downshift to 3rd to maintain highway speed on mild uphill grades.
Honestly, i really wish i could buy all of those cars before they crush them and restore them to their former glory. Unless if i would plan to make a video game in the future as i have 2 games i have to create (1 is Simulife which is basically like GMod but more realistic & 2nd is Become Fumo: Fumo City which is basically like Become Fumo which is a roblox game that i bet most people here don't know but with a GTA like twist) and include all those vehicles that is seen in this junkyard in virtual drivable vehicles in beautiful/perfect condition whether it would be fictionalized or real life versions of those vehicles featured here as mods or whatever... And by the way that this at 2:22 is a 1946-1948 Dodge as i just looked up on the internet, Anyways, i say i should let any car enthusiast know what kinds of vehicles are these in this junkyard just to let me know.
No body really seems to watch or care to watch my working on videos, so i have kinda stopped filming them. It takes a lot of time and extra effort to film that stuff, and with no one watching, it doesnt really make sense
Because they don't care about automotive history and just leave them just to rot just for these automotive relics to die... I always hate it when this happens as I'm a fan of classic/vintage/antique vehicles and seeing these relics of our past just to end up rusting away and then getting put in crushers is just a heartbreaking thing that happens as I think it's a complete disrespect towards automotive history. None of those kinds of cars seen here are not made like this anymore and they could be considered rare nowadays, If they crush/scrap/destroy cars like these, that could decrease the number of units of those cars which could make it harder to find for enthusiasts.
1968 Dodge Dart convertible with the probably a be at my even have a 4 speed. That's the car to get your hands-on. Have a great day, Ryan.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, what a beautiful and peaceful property and overall area. I bet that it feels beautiful walking around.
It was!

its a beautiful state!
At 1:40, the 61 Plymouth 2dr would be a great candidate to make a classic drag car if it is in good enough shape.
im sure it is good enough shape!

I'm not usually into most patina look , but these sunburned look I like, clear it ..done
yeah they have a great look
Dollof bought alot of the cool cars & trucks out of there,,go to his channel & see ,,he actually posted the video of that yard today
Yeah i saw 😎
The best time of year to do unlimited searching through all that is mid winter. Insects and snakes are not around.
yeah but with a ft of snow & cold, im gona pass on that lol
The dryer climate helps to preserve those cars compared to Iowa.
That is 100%
That 1968 Dodge Dart GT ragtop would make a very cool ride !, as would that early/mid 60's International shortbed stepside pickup !
for sure
chevy cavalier wagon is neat. 1970s lincoln town car is interesting. subaru brat is cool. blue and the red Eldorados are cool. bronco2.
Good stuff in there !
28:22 is most definitely a 50 Buick. Only year for the big tooth grill.

Well, just catch the rattlesnakes. And then you fry. Them up and they taste like chicken. I did it all the time and Arizona.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

20:02 that's a citation 😜

That is a Dart GT convertible 1969 or older I think that style is from 67-69
4:52 - nice bottom end 1954 Pontiac, a Chieftain Special 5:00 - a '57, but it's a similar styling theme they will carry to '59 6:45 - omg , omg ! Rattlesnakes?

A lot of Fix Or Repair Dailys, no Studes. Watch out for rattlers.
haha yep lots of them!
At 4:58 is a rather good looking Pontiac 54.
10:29 is an AMC Hornet wagon.
What do you got if you have a hundred fords and a chevy a junk yard and a ride home.
How I I get a hold o nick? I would like to know more about the Jaguar
Fords before tri five error was 52 to 54 they were also the first V8s

In the beginning of the video. Was that a Fairmont station wagon? If so how much is it. I'm in North Carolina.
The one at 2:32 looks to be a 1960 Ford wagon. Possibly a country sedan.
Starting at 14:42 it looks like there is a Fairmont 4-door followed by two wagons. Back in the day, I drove a girlfriend's new '78 Fairmont Futura on a 400 mile road trip. If that's a Rodery engine Madza a1994 the Roadkill guys are looking for a 1994
Gold is a bit of hyperbole, lots of more doors and unremarkable old rusty runners , but to each his own.
Ive made more money on 4drs than 2drs, so to me yes lots of gold. And a lot of people dont mind a 4dr, cheaper and easier to get into
How do you get the number of the junkyard? Or Nickt number.
Smh.....its in the description....i even said that in the video...
29:26 Jeep pickup ??
👉so cool Buick elektra. 🙏🤘😎
thanks for watching!
Hey when are you gonna work on your cars or am I missing the videos ?
No body really seems to watch or care to watch my working on videos, so i have kinda stopped filming them. It takes a lot of time and extra effort to film that stuff, and with no one watching, it doesnt really make sense
But, i will start up again on will it runs and whatnot, i do enjoy it, just wish the people who subscribed would continue to support them
What is the furthest you've traveled for a vintage vehicle?
so far Montana, Oklahoma & Virginia
@@IowaClassicCars Iowa to Virginia & back has me beat!
Cool old yard- a few worth saving, but mostly crushing fodder it appears-
all of these could be saved, very dry cars
Just a Suggestion Ryan Please get some Snake 🐍 Boots if you are going to be walking around places like that.
I did have boots on this time, i wasnt about to get bit lol
@@IowaClassicCars that's good 👍
20:20 I see "Walter White" made an appearance .
haha
Wait crushing the cars this fall? As in 2023? It’s fall already. Damn that’s not a lot of time
We have a few months left lol
I need the rear splash pan off the 35 olds plate # 57648 .. pls get back to me . I’m interested .
WHY WOULD THEY CRUSH THEM
Because they don't care about automotive history and just leave them just to rot just for these automotive relics to die...
