No kidding, Totems of the Grizzlemaw is some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. Howling Fjord and Grizzly Hills are my favorite places to quest solely because of the music. This Legion rework is just as beautiful if not more so. Towards the end, the guitar comes in and it's like Totems a la the instrumental version of Storybook Love from Princess Bride and I just lost my composure completely. I had to pause the music, walk away from the computer and sob like an idiot lol. Not sure why, but this piece of music hits me in so hard...
Music and nostalgia is a powerful drug. If you haven't been moved to tears by art, then you aren't living right. Keep on rocking in the free world, my friends!
For those who are curious, you can actually get this song (randomly) in the music repertoire for "Songs of Peace", which is an inscription "glyph" sold by a pandaren where the archeologists are in the vale of eternal blossoms (can be sold at the AH)
If you use it on a sonic environment enhancer from an engineer and play it repeatedly to switch song (remove the buff each time) you'll get this eventually. Works anywhere as long as you don't suddenly tp to a new zone/battle pet.

Omg, some how, some way Blizzard made this already beautiful track even more beautiful and tear jerking. How are they able to do this to us every time? God I love this game.

This song is very special to me in so many ways. It takes me back to those long strolls I took around Grizzly Hills. They helped me relax and get away from everyday problems. Great to have it back!

They did the original justice. One of my all time favourite tracks. I miss you dearly, Wrath of the Lich King.

Oh my god this hit me in the nostalgic feels.
If I remember correctly this version plays in the Legion Music Box - Peace scroll (engineering + inscription). I cherish that item and hand it off between alts as I play them.
I don't care where this plays in Legion, but I'm gonna go there and STAY there!
What if this music replaces westfall's music?

It's by the Grizzlemaw, I think it only plays when you've done the guardian artifact quest but idk, check it out

You didn't buy legion? It was basically Wrath 2.0. The only good expansion in a long, long time. You really missed out.
@@1trevor30 The only major bad part about Legion was the legendary system until they added vendors, other than that the content was great, m+ was good and the raids were amazing.

Back when legion launched I remember just looking at all the negatives and thinking “ohh, another bad expansion”. A few years pass and now we are in on the eve of the dragon flight launch… looking back now I realise legion was actually insanely good. Not wotlk terms of good but it certainly is near that.
Also this song slaps!

I miss Derek Duke music in Wow. With him it could be the best soundtrack of all expansions.

I don't know about left... He made the soundtrack for Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm in 2013. Admitetly, that is some time ago - maybe he still lurks around somewhere, waiting for his moment to strike?
If we are allowed to choose a place to rest after living ends, Grizzly Hills with this music would be my place. I would just sit next to a river, full of pine trees feeling the nature of Grizzly Hills and goes to my cozy wooden house lays down, and stares at the sky and trees from my window.
First Blizzard revived Nagrand music in Wod and now they revived Grizzy hills music in Legion.
You know what this means?
Next Expansion will revive Cata Music

Wow... I can't believe I totally missed this..
And yet, my gut was telling me that Blizzard had revisited the Wotlk soundtrack in Legion, but I just managed to miss it.
This is pretty much on repeat for me daily
Such a small zone, in a vast world, in a large cosmos of endless possibilities. All created through love and passion from the community and the devs. The music of Warcraft is so inspiring, touching and magical. Thank you so much to all who made such things possible!

I came back to WoW after stopping playing before Legion came out. I just did the Guardian druid artifact quest and this music critically stuck me in the feels when I showed up in the den. I had no idea they remade it!
I kind of prefer the fiddle over the flute (I think that's a flute at least. Not too familiar with telling woodwinds apart ._.), but this is still really good!
It was actually a Nyckleharpa. A Swedish stringed instrument.
This brought a nostalgic tear to my eye. Thanks Blizz.

This one is more of a variation on the theme. I think its better for casual listening, while the other one sets the zone up amazingly.
Yeah, I kinda wanted something like this. The original is long and drawn out and sets up the atmosphere, and there are BEAUTIFUL parts scattered through it.

Yep - a car crash when compared with the ecstatic, elegiac conclusion of the original - with the violin hitting that sweet high note.
I stopped playing WoW when Cata became Panda but I will always be thankful for this song. It makes me sad and happy all at once. When I first heard it I was in high school in 2009 playing WoTlK now I'm almost 30 and it brings me back to the fun times. I cry for this song. I would kill for this song. I would die for this song.

Sounds good but wotlk version is way better
I like it, but mainly because how nostalgic it is. It lost a lot of its beauty by slowing it down and having it almost exclusively being a woodwind piece.
You mean it got BETTER because it became a woodwind piece.
It has to sound different somehow. I like the Grizzly Hills version better though, sounded much more Swedish
