Suramar has become my favorite zone for story. I didn't realize until Insurrection, but forcing the rep grind really let you get to know the characters. Seeing them not withered at the end made me tear up.

Very rarely do I actually stop what I'm doing in world of warcraft, and even more rarely than that do I witness a melody that makes put down what I'm doing and just stop to take it in. The part I'm referring to is 8:06 if you're wondering and it just... my god dude. Wow music has never before made me experience what that did.
There was a much more similar piece to what you're referring to featured in the Tomb of Sargeras audio novels... althought I cannot find any files for it. (Also featured in a cave near Azurewing Reposte, and a few Suramar Zones)
Have you played Warcraft 3? Sympathy probably comes after their charges of defending the world, nature, their lands, their people. Also, they can be pretty harsh (although often justifiably so) such as when they kicked out their arcane users. But, you know, War of the Ancients and all that. When they do so there is a reason. Although.. the way Blizzard has been writing Tyrande.. It's pretty strange. Or poor.

The Legion Soundtrack so far has nearly everything in it. Classical Orchestras, Drums, Pipes, Shimasen, CHoirs of People singing and shouting. Feels like that will be the Last Expansion where they wrap up everything.
OMG starting from 2:00 you can witness all the GLORY of the Burning Legion. It's like kil'Jaeden is standing right before your eyes with the whole legion army ready to wipe out Azeroth entirely. We're doomed guys...
THIS is what my mind goes back to, whenever i remember Legion or elves - with fond memories, for the bad ones i have a different song xD namely the annoying music outside the final raid location, UGH so annoying and boring too
God, every time this song appears in game I have to stop for a moment and just soak in this concentrated dose of night elf mysticism. So beautiful.
indeed
It brings me a sense of gentle sorrow that flows into determination that slowly ebbs, leaving behind a strangely peaceful melancholy.

This is now my favorite haunting track from WoW after Breath of Al'Akir...I wish this was on the soundtrack 😑
This whole experience reminded me of the first time I got to Skellige in Witcher 3. Both times the music completely nailed it.
TFW first time exploring Shal'Aran with Thalyssra and this starts playing
Night Elves wouldn't react like that, they're all about sympathy man.
Hahaha, very true, they are pretty bad ass.

"One day at a time" - First Arcanist Thalyssra.
I love Meredil/Shal'aran , and this music is so perfect for Falanaar as well :)

jehkmeh I first heard it there! Thought it was so beautiful! 😍
I like how the melodic instrument at 0:55 sounds like a wolf's howl, but put into music. Genius.
String Player Gamer I think those are elves singing on a melancholic tone
thats female or children choir vocals.
I love your Zelda musics
Me encantan tus videos musicales
Favorite track from Legion, I think. The soundtrack has no business being this good.
2:00 its amazing.. my heart is trembling

this is a masterpiece

Can go cry in the corner because the rest is pure perfection
I never got tired of listening to this while farming starlight rose. Good times.
Forget actually playing the game, just fly around Suramar and listen to the music for hours and hours on end.
I tear up whenever I hear this song. Brings me back to simpler times. How I miss Legion.
Shal'Aran was the very first place I found in Suramar...even before I came there with Thalyssra. I just sat down and listened to the awesome music.
I also :D
I listen to the first track any time I need to relax, it honestly works a treat
Beautiful/sad lament of the shal'dorei. They just rebelled against letting the legion into suramar and they got cast out to die/wither away :c
Our isolation has ended...
First 40 seconds are just absolutely fantastic
This seems a lot different then previous music made for WoW. But I like this theme. Very good change.
7:00 is a work of art
4:00 this part is amazing
It has a Oxenfurt and AC vibe to it
This is amazing...no words...
One of my favourite pieces from Legion, along with Stormheim's OST and Shackled from 7.2.
Why doesnt the melody from 7:54 contineu further and stops for the next part. Every time i get there, an other melody starts to form in my head.
my most fav music in wow

Reminds me so much of that lost city soundtrack in Final Fantasy 7
I love this so much!
Reminds me a bit of 'find your way' from final fantasy 8.. this is beautiful
After searching through hours of legion music finally found it * u *
Interesting use of a cymbalon in this song.
For real now though, where does 2:00 play? hoped it'd be some battle song for Tichondrius or something but no...
Nighthold raid!
Where exactly? I've been there twice now up to Gul'dan and this didn't play for me
Beautiful composition

Holy shit you are right!
The opening, and various parts similar to it, has Diablo vibe to it; haunting.
What if 2:00 plays when the Nightborne join the Horde? It's just too good to go unused. And it'd fit the event.
Damn so glad that they are going red!
it has happened
I miss Suramar songs
2:00 is what legion was to me
Last good expansion for WoW it looks like.
Any expansion where Nelves or Draenei are involved is a good one for me! I miss the good days of Legion.

Apparently I never un-equipped my ancient mana tracker
My arcane mage never did as well!
good instrumental music.
I'm so cried when I listened to this on acid

First part reminds me of Fire Emblem Awakening map theme.

I want to know where this track can be purchased or downloaded, the Shal'Aran theme is haunting
I love this !!

Anyone know the name of the main string instrument used in most of this piece?
Cymbalon in case you're still wondering :D
I first thought of Guqin or Cembalo, but they sound a little different
2:00 when does this play?!?
Nighthold
First minutes remind mea lot of PoE soundtrack.

Omg I was thinking about the same thing, DBZ vibe, specifically Time Chamber theme :)
