Tatsuya Karuga Hasebe it is but if that’s what you mean by customisable then most mechanical keebs are customisable. By having the hot swap option it makes it easier and you don’t run the same risk of killing the PCB. For what I think was £10 more than the non hot swappable options I think it’s worth.

Thanks for this video, very detailed. I watched this 2 times and then I was able to do everything on my own on my K4. Board and switch disassembly, lubing everything. Altho I was more generous with the foam I just cut it to size -leaving out te battery- and then just pushed it to place tearing a hole for the standoffs. I also didn't felt the need to lube the springs I instead went and lubed the tops and bottoms of the switches. I guess it's the same result. All in all I'm really happy with the result, thanks to your video.

very good restoration of the keyboard what I liked the most is the switches that are to remove and put so you have not had to leave that is something that I liked a lot.

I know this isn't latest video but I want to get you a shoutout to you. I got into learning about modding keyboards. Recently, I got a Tecware Phantom 87 keyboard which its a hot swappable keyboard for Outemu Switches. I switches out the reds for heavy Outemu Blacks. fully lubed and adding foam to the case of the keyboard. I was able to lube the stablizers and you have great videos man. keep it up. ;p maybe christmas time, I want to build my own keyboard. put that wildcat touch to it.
i used dyno-mat in my K6 case instead of foam, after pressing it in i had to pull the aluminum skin off so the switches wouldn't short out. the result is amazing. i'll never use foam in any of my KB's again. highly suggest it

Yes they were right after they remove the switches they test the stabilizers and find some very wobbly ones
That's the attitude to have, so many stock stabs suck. With complaints, companies will get their stab act together.

Doing the stabilized keys first and checking to make sure they’re all smooth before putting the rest of the switches in makes so much sense.
