How does Playtron from @PlayTronica actually work?
Playtron is a USB MIDI interface witha twist. It is using alligator clips to connect to any conductive surface or object to trigger one of the 16 notes of this MIDI notes trigger USB interface. It has no velocity, because you a closing and electrical circuit by touching the conductive surface using your body has part of the circuit. It's wacky, fun and can offer great visual impact when performing on surprising surfaces (banana piano anyone?)
In this video I demo how it works and show a simple performance I made with it.
