It's very similar to 'A way out' you guys played a while back but it takes a more comedic, puzzle approach. Outer Wilds is a game that i personally really enjoy watching people play, after having played it myself a year or so ago. It's definitely not for everyone, but it is my favourite game of all time. Would love to see a table top series on Kingdom Death. A cooperative 4-player game that chews through your characters like XCom 2. Beautiful minis and art (which may need to be slightly censored). The first couple games only require 5 minis and the monsters ramp up in difficulty to make it interesting. It’s a beautiful and horrifying game to watch being played as there’s an element of chance in some of the dice rolls.
Loving the creeper world and all of your content. Not really got more to add, the Lydia series and guest series' are great, loving it. Would love the long-dark and live action
I liked luck be a Landlord. You could make a kind of short series with it. There's ascension levels so maybe that is your episodic series. I'd love to see some irl stuff too! Honestly just keep it coming and I'll be watching!
I've always really enjoyed the videos where you get to be creative (like ai dungeon) or when you do videos with other creators (especially Harry, Simon and lyds). Would love some quiz time or other stupid non games related videos, those are always my favourite!
have more coop stuff, the way you interact with others and have a good time with them is very fun to view, solo stuff is still good but prefer coop stuff imo.
i think youre strong and very entertaining when you can show a bit of your creative side, if thats in builders or even like the power wash doesnt matter
Try playing Return of the Obra Dinn!! I think sips played it a while ago, it’s sort of lovecraftian esque and fun Additionally, though I don’t know how videos of it would work, the Outer Wilds (distinctly different from Outer Worlds) is an all-round great gameplay experience which I’d highly recommend playing on your own time, if not on UA-cam. It’s a puzzle/story/adventure game, although sits in a league of its own because of how dissimilar it is from other games which are supposedly in the same genre as it.
I don't think the Outer Wilds would really work, Tom gets very easily distracted and would take about 20 hours realistically. Would work far better as a stream game
@@Hodhedge_ He said he wanted longer form content edited down, so that would work great. I also think that everyone should play The Outer Wilds. Obra Dinn is even more dense, but it is also worth a play, maybe as a Riddle Bros?
I feel the biggest thing that makes a game fun to watch is if the UA-camr is actually having fun. So I feel its more important to think about whatever game you would enjoy the most and let the viewers follow.
a lovely little, chill serene puzzle game, made by the people behind "what remains of edith finch" is called "The unfinished swan". big place in my heart for that game
I remember when you played the demo for Backbone absolutely ages ago, and it seemed super interesting! I know it was properly released recently, so might be worth a look??
apparently the quality completely drops off after the point we saw tom play up to, was going to download it myself since it's on gamepass but the reviews have put me off a bit
What kind of games would I like to see Tom play? Creeper World! Jokes aside, you are one of my favorite UA-camrs, and my favorite series you do is the creeper World stuff. Hope you keep doing it. If you're considering doing longer form content, then your channel would be a good place for some more tabletop content. And since it's your channel, you could choose the name and the song everyone sings before hand.
Disco Elysium would be amazing to watch and I think you would really enjoy a batshit insane game like that. I would also very much watch a chill game like Slime Rancher or Stardew Valley.
I think the games I like seeing from you the most are the ones where you get invested in a story or goal. Personally I like ongoing series best, though I understand those are tough to do with viewer drop-off being how it is... It is really fun watching you solve horror game twists 3 episodes in just to forget you solved it when the twist finally does show up!
With all the new updates to Total War Wahammer and the new one coming soon it would be cool to see a few versus battles with you either playing or casting a small tournament.
Recommendation: Concrete Jungle - Is a city-planning deck-building game a little like Dorfromantik, but high-density urban squares instead of countryside hexagons. Has a lot of cheeky synergies between tiles you place and surprising depth of gameplay. Also very on-brand for Tom as a tiny city aficionado. Also I like Tom's involvement in role-playing sessions as DM or player. Excited for more live stuff no matter what it is.
Mindustry is a very fun little factorio like game that would probably be good for a medium length solo series, It might be a little too similar to creeper world though tbh. Root is a very fun board game that could make a decent series with ben and some of the armchair admirals crew. Overall I think I personally would enjoy more multiplayer stuff, I've been missing my fix of the riddle bros.
I love when Tom does long format videos. I like to listen to him in the background (I have a 1 hour commute) since he has the voice of a luxuriously bearded angel
I for one still really enjoy the Creeper World vids. Also for suggestions, from the wayback machine Pulsar: Lost Colony went 1.0 fairly recently and I have been having fun playing it with friends
This game looks great! Definitely added to my wish list! I know it’s pretty old but something like hollow knight would be nice to see you play. And pairing up with someone for a don’t starve series would be great just for the comedy.
A while ago, some of the yogs played Executive Assault. I just got the sequel for my birthday and haven't played it yet, but I think you might find that interesting. It's an RTS where a big part of it is inhabiting the bodies of your units and leading them yourself. I think the sequel is more spacebound than the first, so you can roleplay being a Space Marine boarding enemy vessels!
Commented once about playing Sheltered for the post apoc vault management vibe. Sheltered 2 comes out this year, so playing the first could be relevant! Rimworld also got its new update, you could do a run highlighting using the new stuff. And I hear the story of it from time to time, but a yogsquest in DnD 5e or something similar would for sure get my views and maybe the views of others! I have been watching the creeper world stuff, but I think the reason I like watching it is mainly because of your energy while playing it. It is the same reason I think your Skylines stuff was popular because you seemed to have a genuinely good time playing. I would rather watch you play a game you like for the 18th time over a game you are only interested in for the first time. The idea creeps to mind of having a game you prefer that sneaks into the queue every once and a while (Slay the Spire, Creeper World, whatever your absolute favorite game is) mixed with your regular content. Good luck, I hope this helps! (seriously if you haven't looked into Sheltered I think you would like it)
The game Nowhere Prophet seems like it'd be right up your alley, Tom! It's a stylish deck-builder where you lead a gang of warriors in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Ghostrunner is effectively cyberpunk, first-person Hotline Miami, which I think would be great to watch you play. And the game isn't super long either. Personally I'd love to watch you run (or be a player in!) some more Call of Cthulhu. Other tabletop RPGs I think you'd really enjoy are The Quiet Year and Mothership. The Quiet Year is a game about building an isolated community where you try to make the best of a desperate scenario against literally overwhelming odds. Mothership is a sci-fi horror ttrpg inspired by Alien; it has a really nice set of mechanics, and there are several published scenarios for it!
Very pro a longer series. I also love the creeperworld content, but understand if it’s getting too much! In general I like your strategy/base-building stuff. How about rimworld, which would fit this category?
Hey Tom! Love these long form videos, keep these rolling out. I am personally a huge fan of any content creator just playing what they enjoy and what they are passionate about and I feel like it really shows in the videos they make. Huge fan of Creeper World and want to see as much more of it as you are willing to make. Other games that I would want to see more of are things like Mini Motorways. Other collabs are things I always look forward to as well. Keep up the great work and props to your editor on your more regular shorter videos :)
Hi, long time watcher, first time suggester here. *Assemble With Care* _is a short game that I think is a pretty "Tom" game. Tho it could be completed in maybe 3 episodes._ *The Banner Saga* _is a bit older, but if you haven't played it I think it is quite good, 3 games in the series tho so could be long._ *Amazing Cultivation Simulator* _is very Rimwworld-like, I haven't played it but it looks neat/weird._ *Carto* _is a neat adventure/map building/puzzle sort of game that could be interesting._ *Golftopia* _had its v1.0 release recently if you wanted to give that another go._ *Alba* _is a pretty cute exploration game that might be good too._ *Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion* _has pixel graphics_ :p I'd be pretty happy to watch a The Long Dark series. Also, this game is amazing and is going on my wishlist. You have been a big inspiration for a number of games I have bought **chief kiss**
Oh yeah, as you mentioned getting back together with people, I'd also really love to see another tabletop RPG series, Idc what really. Edge of the Empire, Call of Cthulhu, I'd even be happy to see an Everyone is John or Goblin Quest for that matter; they are all great stuff in the past and anymore like it would be welcomed. Really miss those kinds of games with you.
Rimworld (new dlc or pehaps with lovecraftian mods) might make a great heavily cut down series, it has lots of fun little narratives but it's a bit slow to just slap onto UA-cam raw
Death's Door is a fun little puzzle Zelda-ey game that I played through recently. It was very fun with wacky characters and I think you might enjoy it! Not sure if it would be the best to record, but that's for you to decide!
I think your creeper world series is great and honestly if you produced it for the next 30 years I'd watch every one. Your evil genius 2 playthrough was a great watch, ik its not the best game to play but perhaps something in a similar vein? Love all your videos though!
Sadly,I do know what you're talking about And content wise, I'd love to see you get Ben on your channel at some point. You guys are great on stream. If you can't get Ben, it's just great to see when you colab with any of your peeps.
Of your videos, the ones that run a bit longer with a narrative like SubNautica are quite nice. Collaborations you do with other Yogs are also quite enjoyable. I often turn away from videos that more artsy ( model building, marble track building, etc ) and game that are too easy ( some Creeper world videos ) can be a bit boring. This game was fun because it was new, seemed challenging, and had the payoff of a super Peglin at the end. But if it was super Peglin the whole time or you were just designing the levels, it would have been less interesting. Unfortunately I do not have any game suggestions of my own.
Here are some games you could try; Salt and Sanctuary - 2d souls-like, the bosses are pretty cool Ruinarch - rimworld but your randy random Wildermyth - would be funny to see how you react to some of the weird dialogue Spellcaster university - Build a Hogwarts Grime - Souls like that came out yesterday, havent played a lot but has some interesting mechanics and unique art style
Tom, I started playing this games demo half way through this video. And I must say, reset on crit is amazing as hell. You can pump out massive amounts of damage from it. I had a dagger hit for almost 300 cause of it. It basically gives you infinite ammo. And throwing a multiball directly into a crit, having the extra balls come flying out into tons of reset crit pegs is... oh its great.
I found a game yesterday that's pretty fun and chill; Lifeslide. It's a cute low-poly art style where you fly a paper aeroplane, collecting sparkles for upgrades and parts for different plane designs!
Tom, You NEED to play the outer wilds (Not Outer Worlds, the fallout style space game). There's no objectives per say, but you just get the ability to explore a small little universe, and there are SO MANY little surprises and cool things. I've played loads and haven't uncovered a lot of the story yet. It's very colourful and vibrant as a setting. It reminds me of Subnautica, but with a much better story and visual experience, and less of the grindy survival stuff. You're just going out and exploring, translating old stories left by aliens who visited before you.
I'd love to watch you play a longer game like Breath of the Wild or Witcher, also desperate to see you continue dark souls series with or without barry

So this is what my girlfriend has been asking me to try

Creeper world + mods is amazing to watch. It took time to grow on me but it creeped in. Keep on creepin!
Little did Tom know, Yogtowers was sinking behind him.
Plus one for luck be a landlord, I've enjoyed it and thought it would be fun to watch Tom play it
I've always really enjoyed the videos where you get to be creative (like ai dungeon) or when you do videos with other creators (especially Harry, Simon and lyds). Would love some quiz time or other stupid non games related videos, those are always my favourite!
That build at the end was incredible to watch!
Longer series on Rimworld? Ideology just came out and adds a lot of depth and storytelling potential.
I loved the wheel of whacky and the horse in TABS!
have more coop stuff, the way you interact with others and have a good time with them is very fun to view, solo stuff is still good but prefer coop stuff imo.
i think youre strong and very entertaining when you can show a bit of your creative side, if thats in builders or even like the power wash doesnt matter
I agree, the games where he can be creative (whether drawing, painting, building or otherwise) make for special videos
Assemble with care, a prison in the escapists, and the frog detective series could all be mini-series
Long dark would be great. Early story mode has more hand holding tutorial features. Sandbox throws you into the deep end of the pool.
I love Peggle, played every version multiple times. This looks like a great game and is right up my alley. Great video as well!
Try playing Return of the Obra Dinn!! I think sips played it a while ago, it’s sort of lovecraftian esque and fun
Additionally, though I don’t know how videos of it would work, the Outer Wilds (distinctly different from Outer Worlds) is an all-round great gameplay experience which I’d highly recommend playing on your own time, if not on UA-cam. It’s a puzzle/story/adventure game, although sits in a league of its own because of how dissimilar it is from other games which are supposedly in the same genre as it.
I would love to see tom play this! :-D
Yes please, more long content, more tom is more good, like ol' granmama used to say
a lovely little, chill serene puzzle game, made by the people behind "what remains of edith finch" is called "The unfinished swan". big place in my heart for that game
I remember when you played the demo for Backbone absolutely ages ago, and it seemed super interesting!
I know it was properly released recently, so might be worth a look??
so backbone released?! i remember liking both Tom's video and the demo itself, should probably give it a go myself now that it's been released.
Oh yeah, that's a good rec for Tom to try out
apparently the quality completely drops off after the point we saw tom play up to, was going to download it myself since it's on gamepass but the reviews have put me off a bit
I'm with you there, Watching him bumble through Disco Elysium sounds fun.
Disco Elysium is an awesome game, but might be too depressing for the channel? Either way, I'm sure Tom would love playing it.
I usually always suggest this too and forgot to in my comment this time around. Could be a fun one to play with Simon as the Riddle Bros
Ooh yeah, a versus battle or two every month sounds good
Recommendation: Concrete Jungle - Is a city-planning deck-building game a little like Dorfromantik, but high-density urban squares instead of countryside hexagons. Has a lot of cheeky synergies between tiles you place and surprising depth of gameplay. Also very on-brand for Tom as a tiny city aficionado.
Also I like Tom's involvement in role-playing sessions as DM or player. Excited for more live stuff no matter what it is.
This was a fun game! I would also love a Tom Stellaris playthrough!
Id hugely enjoy a playthrough of The Long Dark
Oh, that looks like a promising game! Maybe a little bleak, but that could be rectified by playing it with a friend (a la Witch Hunt).
That would be boring as shit imo but as long as tom is having fun
Tom: ok that was way too many bombs, please stop hitting bombs
Ball: *proceeds to hit all but one bomb*
Definitely go for some board games Tom. That would be great!
I love when Tom does long format videos. I like to listen to him in the background (I have a 1 hour commute) since he has the voice of a luxuriously bearded angel
More hard space ship breaker please, there's just not a ton on UA-cam about that game and I'd love to see more
I second this!
I third this!! It was very satisfying to watch!
And pairing up with someone for a don’t starve series would be great just for the comedy.
would love to see you do a short play through of a town builder love that content from you, one I like that is pretty new is Kingdoms Reborn!
I know this is a longshot, but I would love another Cities Skylines series.
I'd love to see you play the new Ace Attorney game with Simon
(seriously if you haven't looked into Sheltered I think you would like it)
Holy crap this game looks so amazing! It really needs an endless mofe
Tho it could be completed in maybe 3 episodes._
*The Banner Saga* _is a bit older, but if you haven't played it I think it is quite good, 3 games in the series tho so could be long._
*Amazing Cultivation Simulator* _is very Rimwworld-like, I haven't played it but it looks neat/weird._
*Carto* _is a neat adventure/map building/puzzle sort of game that could be interesting._
*Golftopia* _had its v1.0 release recently if you wanted to give that another go._
*Alba* _is a pretty cute exploration game that might be good too._
*Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion* _has pixel graphics_ :p
I'd be pretty happy to watch a The Long Dark series.
Som skylines would be amazing I would watch that all day long
Tom playing skylines with the awesome editing got me through some tough times. Would love to see more
Seconded. I'd absolutely want to see him get back to that.
listening to tom struggle to form coherent and non-repeated sentences is super real to my own life
Sadly,I do know what you're talking about
And content wise, I'd love to see you get Ben on your channel at some point. You guys are great on stream. If you can't get Ben, it's just great to see when you colab with any of your peeps.
more co op with ben pls
There’s a 2d building/strategy game called AIRSHIPS, very similar to from the depths. Not very linear or story based but it has some cool stuff
Unfortunately I do not have any game suggestions of my own.
yes! i love live action yog stuff. especially vlogs but skits and such are very fun too.
Here are some games you could try;
Salt and Sanctuary - 2d souls-like, the bosses are pretty cool
Ruinarch - rimworld but your randy random
Wildermyth - would be funny to see how you react to some of the weird dialogue
Spellcaster university - Build a Hogwarts
Grime - Souls like that came out yesterday, havent played a lot but has some interesting mechanics and unique art style
Hey Tom I love the creeper world videos so if you want to keep playing it I will keep watching haha
*Get's the perfect relics for a crit build*: Ignores the crit ball and upgrades a ball that can only focus ground enemies :)))))
Yogscast Guarantee!!!
Something like an AI Dungeon with others could be fun. I can imagine the lols are super RNG but worth a punt.
"Oh you can discard orbs" Then literally never uses it
I'm not a massive fan of Creeper World, but I'll still watch your videos all the same!
I can't wait for this to come out in full because I love you playing roguelike deck building style games
I'd love to watch you play a longer game like Breath of the Wild or Witcher, also desperate to see you continue dark souls series with or without barry
A rogue like where you get to play a goblin sign me up! Cheers Tom for bringing this game to my attention
love this style of video!!! rogue likes with rambling tom
This game was so much fun to watch. Just listening to Tom talk to himself was hilarious!
Would love to see Tom try out Webbed later this year.
Mandatory Algorithmic Comment Because We Love Tom! Really Tom, I watch your videos for your personality and rambling. I know pairing up is hard to do, but I really loved your old spooky hunting monsters with Simon, and Warhammer with Ben.
irl colouring/paint by numbers just to see you truly ramble and what wacky colour combos you'll come up with
As for board games I love mysterium
personally I've loved all the creeper world content but it does make sense that it can't be all you produce for the rest of time.
Yes Tom, YES! This is exactly the kind of game I'm looking for!
