Kevin, glad to see you showing in action the Key2 and seeing that with the speedkey that it is faster or just as fast as a virtual keyboard to doing things. More of these videos will lead BB to being a relevant seller again.

I personally have a Key2 and I personally disable all "key short cuts, Speed key and the convent key"
instead I enabled the System wide search instead.. so the moment I start typing on the home screen it starts searching local device only.. no web results... way better then using the "keys" for shortcuts...
also switch the Currency key to Ctrl key... that way it mimics a real desktop keyboard for thigns like Ctrl+C/Ctrl-P or Ctrl-S... far more hander then get notifications

It could be a very minor software update that enables the convenience key to emulate speed key.
I see no reason why BlackBerry can't do that

Do you have the dual sim version? Can you run data (4G / 3G) on both of them at the same time? Instead of having a 'Preferred SIM for data' setting like in most dual sim phones. Thanks.

I have afraid to not receive new android updates. I had a DTEK60 and the blackberry don't update more. The iPhone always receive the updates. Can I buy without problem about this?

Does the blackberry key2 lag after about 11 months of usage?? This is my major problem with the majority of smart phones.
No, it does not lag. I have been using my Key2 for the last 6 months and it is as fast as new one. I'm using a 128gb SD card and the phone shows no sign of slowing down. I have 3000+ songs, 8000+ images, 100+ HD videos and lots of apps and it works great. The battery is awesome and the keyboard is a GEM. Make no mistake, this is a really good phone

I really like the KEY2, but I feel like TCL didn't get the price right. At $650 I feel like mainly hardcore Blackberry users will pick it up.
I really want this phone and I've been looking forward to it for a while but the price is a big sticking point for me as well. It's the only reason I've yet to get this phone.
I could afford it but at the expense of maybe a ticket abroad for a short vacation or some other trade off. It just seems a bit overvalued. Doesn't make sense to drop 900 CAD for a phone. I think if it were around 600-650 I would not hesitate.
I found out about the locker when I was looking for a way to keep a copy of my passport in case I lost it. On the KeyOne you don't tap the spacebar, you just touch it to take photo that goes in the locker. Is that the same for the Key2? (If you tap the spacebar the photo goes to the regular bin.)
dweiss1 I believe he says "Tap" and the meaning is the same as "touch" as opposed to "Press" the button.

1. circle -> shortcut does the same (and can used with one hand) 3. nothing new
1. Using the circle on an android device :
-touching the circle
-scrolling the app drawer to choose the one I want to use
-clicking on th app
-waiting for a lil moment to open the chosen app
2. Using the speed key :
-clicking anf holding the speed key
-clicking on the first letter of the app's name I want to use
-instantly toggle in the app
the speed key allow to be faster fir switching through the apps, everybody who did test the key2 are unanimous about that, and you dare to say they're wrong? did you even already tested the key2?
why scrolling the app drawer and click on the app? the Key1 has shortcuts on the keyboard, too ;-) so with circle it is 2 clicks and with speedkey it is 2 clicks. but with circle you can use one hand and with speedkey you need two
