- A tribute to original supermodel, Miss Karen Mulder. From 1988 till 2000, Miss Mulder graced the most prestigious runways. Her body of work includes names such as Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Dior, Chanel, Balenciaga, Herve Leger, Jean-Louis Scherrer, Claude Montana, Versace, Valentino, Gianfranco Ferre', Mila Schon and Oscar de La Renta, just to name a few. She was also a founding supermodel of Victoria's Secret. Mulder was featured on hundreds of covers including Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan and many more. She starred in many high fashion campaigns for labels such as Versace, Valentino, Claude Montana, Dior, Herve Leger, Yves Saint Laurent, Celine, Guess and others. This video showcases miss Mulder's refined technique and walk on the runway. Hope you guys enjoy it !

Karen Mulder is and was the epitome of what a supermodel should be. Incredibly Gorgeous, perfect face, perfect figure, and an air of grace and sophistication like no other. Her walk on the runway was nothing short of perfect. And she was flawless in her presentation of the designers’ clothes. All the supermodels were incredible and were famous all in their own right. But Karen Mulder always seemed to be a notch above the rest. For me she is the best! 👌❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍

@@veidorje1681 Cindy had a below average walk, and Claudia, Stephanie and Tatjana had really bad walk. Linda had a decent walk, and Helena's walk was good, though not great.
She was the epitome of the Blond Supermodel. Claudia Schiffer was beautiful too but could not walk well on the runway. But Karen was sublime. The clothes back then were so beautiful and wearable too. Today, the models are dull and static with zombie expressionless faces. Clothes are clown suits. Too much costume. Sad for Fashion.

Agree. But I must also agree to the fashion companies. These supermodels were soooooooooooooo EXPENSIVE !!! That's why Gucci, Valentino, Dior & co said: "No more supermodels! No more models who become popstars! They ruin us!"
i agree claudia was the darling of Lagerfeld for no reasons maybe because she was German like Lagerfeld but Karen was sweet sublime and just a ifinitely better model
What a beautiful runway walk, confident, charming and smouldering....Love Karen, she was the classy blonde of the 90s. She was sultry but had a sweetness too about her especially when she smiles. She has a Rita hayworth vibe about her. Suited commercial and couture clothing. Her YSL ads by Newton of the 90s were stunning.

Every pose every angle every move is sooo perfect. Even the way she put her feet the angles, her expressions, the way she stares. Everything is Flawless. The 90s is the only Supermodel Era. Models nowadays need to learn more.
it's very strange...in some ways she was the classiest of all......the supermodels were all FANTASTIC but they were not effortlessly classy. She was a notch higher. She was "niche". She was to the supermodels what Tippi Hedren was to the Hitchcock blondes or what Debbie Harry was to the pop icons.

Nervous breakdown and suicide attempt. This was almost 20 years ago. She is doing well now, she lives in Europe and has a daughter.

I used to watch The FTV years ago, Karen Naomi Christy Linda Tyra Kristen Shalom Myra were my faves. Karen had a certain "floatiness" or ease with her walk. It looked effortless and always elegant. She reminds me of a 1940's Hollywood Starlet. She's so pretty.

Karen n'était pas une "comme une autre" de mannequin...
