There are some extremely beautiful models with some fabulous walks, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Yasmeen Ghauri, Marpessa Hennink, and the almost 6ft blonde Nadja Auermann. But for me, the standout is always the extraordinary beauty, the Danish-Peruvian uber model and goddess, Helena Christensen. Her beauty is mesmerising, her runway strut, sensual, sublime, sizzling. Not a fan of the looks during this season, but this show exemplifies the 90s fashion quirkiness and transition from 80s excess and glamour to 90s minimalism and grunge. Personally 1992 is where Versace peaked.
I noticed there was no wedding dress to close out this show. Was that something only a certain tier of designers did? Or was that custom no longer relevant by the 90's?
