I ran a scout on my 109r from a dig once, gave him the hit and didn’t launch. Rider was about 100lbs lighter than me as well. Dead even till 80 then I snuck by. Scouts are fast! Lots of power for a small bike.
Mr bicasso, spoke last night about my 4 choices, as a first bike... Everytime I watch you ride the Indian bobber, I'm heading towards that bike, smooth, power, beauty...thanks again, you are the man...b safe!
Its accurate assessment. I have a Scout and mine heavily modified engine. I race different bikes and people on their bikes. I PERSONALLY FOUND BY EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE TO TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF THE SCOUT PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES IN 1 TO 3 GEARS TO GET OUT FRONT AS FAR AND FAST AS I CAN ( GET GOOD LEAD, DISTANCE)! A SCOUT CAN BE RUN DOWN IN 4 TO 6 GEAR. Mine has multiple motor modification though. Currently 165 hp and 135 torque, 460 pounds and I weigh 170lbs. So even with this power, torque,my weight I have to hammer bike from get and stay in it to win. Very important is shift points, staying in Scout power, torque ban. With the mods on mine it has made huge DIFFERENCE in how bike acts in 4th through to 6th. Meaning because of motor mods this area is now stronger and makes it much harder for other bike and rider to run my scout down. IT GIVES THE BIKE BASICALLY SAME ADVANTAGE IT HAS IN 1 TO 3 GEAR IN 4 TO 6 NOW. THE 130 MPH THING HURTS THE BIKE IN LONG DISTANCE RACE BECAUSE OTHER BIKES GEARED FOR HIGHER SPEED. I keep the race to quarter mile, half mile tops because most bikes have higher top end speed ( 130 and above). Correct me if wrong but 109 has 150 top speed if I REMEMBER correctly. I don't challenge or get tricked into racing certain bikes ( hayabusa and few others). I can get them out of the hole and 8th mile but then they just run away from me. So if I do race one I race them max of two city blocks because I know my Scout has excellent chance of WINNING. Know your bike and its advantages and disadvantages and put in race situations that work to its advantages and not disadvantages.
Yeah, the M109 is a bit different in how the motor is tuned and makes power compared to a lot of the big CC cruisers. It revs comparatively so it can make use of that big motor to draw out some heavy duty top speeds. It has to be derestricted first though, as the fun stops at 120mph from the factory. If any of the races were run for more than a gear or two, that M109 would check out and disappear.
The scout pulls better way over 5k Rpms. I've seen people take first to around 45-50 mph in a race and drag their asses. It'll go 7500-8000 redline ...
I mean, when they tune the m109r they often extend the redline to closer to 8k because it still pulls up there when unrestricted. So it isn't like the M109r isn't a top end bike.
Even though its a cruiser the Suzuki is built by one of the most successful racing brands in motorcycling! I haven't ridden a scout but my 1000 v twin sportbike doesn't come alive until after 5500rpm.
The naysayers responding to this thread that think this race is "closer" than it should be, need to consider this. The Scout Bobber has a short, torquey power band. Its got lots of "Oomph" in the lower ranges, which is one of the things that makes it seem as nimble and quick as it does. The Bobber starts churning out its torque curve by 2,000RPM and peaks in the 5,500-6,000RPM range. The M109R, while not "torque-less" down low, comes on a little softer in the lower end, due to its engine configuration and shines near the top end of the tach. The M109R doesn't really even start putting out any serious power until 4,000RPM....at which point, the Scout is already half way through its power band. The M109R on the other hand, will carry power in the first three gears all the way up to 7,400RPM (7,000RPM in 4th and 6,500RPM in 5th). Starting these guys at the BOTTOM of each gear in these comparisons, is going to give the initial advantage to the Scout...every, single time. This is why the Scout gets the jump on, or at the very least is able to "hold off" the M109R for the first couple of seconds of each pull. Point being, is that these roll on starts don't really showcase anything, other than the fact that you need to be in the right gear/RPM for best results. This one, was done to accommodate the lower power and RPM regions of the Scout, which puts it in favour. Bottom line....these two bikes are leagues apart in any real world performance comparison. Anyone thinking of getting into a Scout Bobber because they think it'll be "close" to the performance of an M109R (or similar level bike) in the real world, might be in for a rude awakening.
Nice analysis. They are close in the quarter mile, though. If anyone is sleeping on a Bobber, they'll get surprised. Me owning both, the Scout/M109R will both come out the hole strong. But of course, the 109 has the better set up and it's torque curve is flat and doesn't dip till the upper rpm range. The Scout has to build rpms to get there. Solid points, though.
@Peter Foster Timing is backed off in first 3 gears on the 109 causing the jerky throttle. Buy a TRE and it smooths out and gives full power (also gets rid of that 5th gear 5700 rpm limiter)
Take a 9 that's been babied and a 9 that's been hammered to a dyno and results will be too close to matter. TRE, Intake, pipe, and a tune on mine and it pulls pretty good.
Just throwing this out there I saw a Darkhorse 116 Cheif gap a modded vrod 4 times in a row and a GSXR600 2008 with power commander I was so impressed I ordered me one. I'm doing the stage 2 intake exhaust and cam throttle body upgrade and see what it is capable of.
I got a call from the dealer today. My red scout will be ready on Monday. I was going to get an M109R until I saw the scout. Do you think Ive made the right decision?
Jack Roberts It depends on what you're looking for. I think the Scout like is hella versatile. If I could do it all over, I'd probably go with the Scout. I say probably because I'm a bit biased. Both a great bikes. Have you test ridden both?
No I havent ridden either but it was love at first site with the Bobber. It reminds me of a bigger version of my Kawasaki Vulcan 650S so I know Im going to love it and it will suit my needs. Im a bit worried about not having a windscreen though.
Jack Roberts M109R doesn't have a windscreen either. However, the Scout has more after market Support. It's fresh, it's new and companies are in on making stuff for it. If you're used to the 650S, try the Scout. You won't be disappointed with either choice.
Jack Roberts I have a vulcan s also..like you I fell for the look and test road a bobber at daytona this week..needless to say i will be trading my s for a bobber very soon.
nice man, it looks like it has a mean first and second gear. those higher gear pulls on the highway looked like the rpms where definitely in the m109r's favor still very impressive for a stock bike lol just race in first and second and you'll get them every time. ride safe bud
Look At Me Luis Yeah, I noticed that 5th gear is pretty strong on the Scout too. That could of been the M109r not being in high rpms, but it still held the Scout. That M109r pulls so hard no matter what the range is. It's just insane.
I love the mean riding position on the bobber. It is somewhat more comfortable than I expected. I just love the way you can feel the power in the bike, and how it transforms that on to the road. It looked like you got up to some decent motorway speeds, probably a little above the limit?? ;-) Love the videos. Can't wait to get my bobber delivered and break it in.
Yeah, I was with the sitting position at first and then I didn't like it as much. I'm used to it now and love it! And excess of speeds?... just a tad 🤓
I had the bobber up to 75mph, in 2nd gear, on a test ride. That's our motorway speed limit, but knew the bike had a LOT more power left in it. It's nice having that power, even if you don't use it. :-)
Man that M109 look's good. The paint on that is sic. Yeah it may not be as quick or as fast as the scout but you get all that bike for that price........it's just amazing. That's probably going to be my next bike.
Valkyrie is very low geared for Highway, considering it is a GW motor. Makes them quick but feel like it needs a 6th gear. The 9 literally loafs on the HWY.
It’s 139.6 safety switch on transmission from factory to which doesn’t allow the 240 wheel exceed I own an 07 highly modded 116+ to rear wheel in Texas
Perfect...this is exactly what I was looking for. I'm on the fence right now between both the Scout Bobber and the M109R B.O.S.S. I'm coming from the SuperSport realm and looking for a muscle cruiser that will take my breath away when I hit the throttle. The Ducati XDiavel S is also another option, but it's an addition 10k (Canadian) than either of the other two. I'm really leaning towards the M109R but this vid has me reaching for the Bobber again, lol. Thanks muchly for the great video.
The m109r is the way to go, I have the black version of that beast. I recently let a friend of mine that just purchased a 2016 Harley and even he said the rush he got on my 109 doesnt compare. His Harley is the one with 107 ci Milwaukee somethin' hes thinking of returning it and purchasing the b.o.s.s., you have to remember the m109 has 127hp+ at the wheel stock!
Ok so i own victory octane(basically upgraded internals of scout motor and much faster). and my dad owns m109r. The m109r is best described as a Beast. Its the monster. Its the “muahahaha im the mannnn” type of bike. I ride it all the time and yes, its heavy and you defiantly know you got a big ass lumpy 1800cc engine right under you. My victory octane is 1200cc, but much lighter and punches hard. Like Really punches hard. Both very different riding experience and are pretty much the same if you were to race. Would come down to the rider really to be honest. I love the m109r however i would not buy one simply because it doesnt suit my body type or my personality. im 5ft 7 and 65kg. i like to be bloody quick agile and a little mischivious in my riding behaviour. Also love an angry tagressive take off. the victory octane is perfect for me. My dad is the same, he loves my bike and would happily own it but yeah.... he is a big burly 6ft somethin 100kg man and suits the m109r perfectly in size and personality. He prefers to just cruise and enjoy a big monster of a machine with a fat tyre and know if he ever needs or wants to, hes got the muscle grunt to get him going with no worries haha. Our friend tried dads m109r and felt as though it was to much angry grunty big muscle bike for him and he test road a indian scout but it was to small for him....which is why he bought the Indian Darkhorse 1800cc. It suits him so much personality wise aswell. Its more of a tough looking bad ass but Gentlemans cruiser, super smooth effortless and amazing to cruise on. end of the day, test ride bikes, find one that you genuinely prefer to ride because a certain bike will not always be for everyone. Find one where you see it and say “oh shit yes man thats me right there”
Hey maybe you could help me out. I just bought my Vulcan 900 custom brand new. I come from sport bikes so I love fast but after I got this curiser I don’t think I’ll be going back. Now all I need is a FASTER cruiser I know it’s not about how fast but THATS WHAT I WANT so can someone help tell me which is the fastest curiser not like a Vmax that is ugly I want something that has a full windshield with speakers and saddle bags or I was thinking an Indian scout and putting a fairing and saddlebags on it. But by the looks of this the scout got smoked 🤦🏽♂️ man I need help bad!
I know its mentioned but you absolutely cant just do gear pulls. Im not sure how the m109 is geared, but that scout can hit 80 before shifting to 3rd from a dig. Would be interested to see a lightly modded scout bobber (mybset up: set up run against an this m109. Shorties, S&S intake, and tune with a barnett clutch kit) run it. I never come across any fun bikes though....
Dude..I love my Indian Scout Bobber..I have had it a year..I hated the stock bars and optioned for mini apes and SPOKES over the mags..I have a custom exhaust made by a guy who helped start 2 bros in Tx..Ive had a ECU flash and tune..Now its perfect. I dont need it any faster..I have a 98 TL1000R and 2014 Hyabusa for that..I ride LONG LONG trips and I must have at least a liter bike AND be chain OR Belt drive..I never saw much of your actual bike but I hope u enjoy it..I cant lie..I do hate when I pull a part off such as the stock exhaust and it says Polaris..I put that aside and it is an excellent machine..I love the way a real air cooled bobber looks BUT to me a liquid cooled set up is so SUPERIOR to air cooling and if it runs as good as my 03 Honda 750 ACE which I bought used and then had the frqme Hardtailed and fully built into super nice looking ,comfortable and reliable bobber with only just over 700 miles in 09. in mint shape for $1500 and now im at 67,000 with only a chain,a # of sets of tires, carb work and brakes..oh and clutch cable..Its really great and I feel as if my Indian is just as great 👍
A custom exhaust? I bet that is super loud. My Trask exhaust is loud and has me contemplating whether it was a good idea, lol. The Scout Bobber is a great bike and I got no doubt that it will be super reliable. How are those mini apes treating you?
I’ve been riding dirt bikes for 13 years and want to get into street bikes. I really love the styling and sound of the bobber, but in your honest opinion, would it be an ok starter bike for me?
Since you're used to throttle control, you should be fine. Take a motorcycle safety course and get the M endorsement on your license to acclimate you to street riding and give you a discount on your insurance.
Brandon Bicasso for me I think my biggest negative is chain maintenance, it’s been a hard decision for me cause this will be my first bike so I want to make the right decision. I did a demo day on the Indian and have nothing negative to say about it other then my dealers near me are not being so flexible on price. I’m going to make my decision after the motorcycle show in NYC this week want to see the Kawasaki z900RS and Honda CB1000R though they are different from the bobber they both will fit my riding style.
Yep. I had a 2016 Suzuki Gsx-S1000 and had to deal with chain maintenance. Coming from a drive shaft, it is hella different having to deal with it. Not having to worry about chain maintenance with both belt and drive shaft gives you peace of mind.
A dozen auto-oiler systems on the market for chain drive. Add oil to a reservoir now and then, and forget it. Chain stays a lot cleaner, doesn't wear (chain "stretch"), and lasts 3x longer. The tacky spray lubes are the reason chains cake with garbage. Regular 30wt oil will simply dampen, prevent rust, prevent build up, and sling dirt off.
I'm a bit confused. It looks to me like the Scout got dusted! I love the big Suzuki. The M109R will be my next bike. I want big this time. Big motor and big frame. Thanks for a great video.
Thats right if you want raw brutal power it's the m109r! I own the black 2006 m109r with 8,000 miles and there has been no other bike (except sport bikes) that has come close to beating this beast and its stock.
I have a scout bobber. The redline is 8200 the bike doesn't stat ripping until 5000 rpm. So the rider is probably the factor here. If you put the weight of both bikes and the hp no. Into the 1/4 mile calculator the scout is clear winner. 25 more horses can't overcome 200lbs.
@@BrandonBicasso you miss the point-if I was on a Hayabusa and shifting @ 5500 it would look about the same as the video. that bike makes its power @ 9700. it makes 111 ft tq. but you half to rev it to 9700 only an inexperienced rider would roll it on in a speed contest. I would have kept the rpm where the engine makes it power.
That’s the whole point. Most street races are never in their peak ranges. Bikes and cars all make power differently. I wouldn’t want to race a boosted car while it’s making peak pressure. That’s silly. This was more to show how good the Scout is. Considering they’re both my own bikes, I’m not gonna hype it up for more than what it is. 👌🏾
2007 Suzuki M109R stock has 127hp.....im sure modified is around 150hp......vs the stock 100hp Bobber. and still was able to give the Suzuki some fight
Stock BoBBer? , I have a 2018 w/ DynoJet Power Vision 3 fuel pac mapped by MotoFuel, S&S Stealth2 Air Kit, Radiant GP shortys slip ons...Bike is a LOT faster , breathing better, deep sound.. Super fast.. I’m sure it will be a different story
It's stock. I don't think it would be too different. It'll have more power, but the 109s torque just hits different. IMO anyway. The Bobber had to be in a lower gear than the 109 for it to stand a chance, but it does have 200 pounds on the 109. I don't have the Bobber anymore to do a better comparison, though but they're both fast enough. 😂😂😂
Never really cared for the looks of the 109s. They always remind me of some type of overfed sea creature. Seeing it go down the road with a human on it, I gotta admit, it looks pretty good. I think the thinner pipes take away some of its chunkiness.
saddlebag The way you describe it is oddly entertaining. "Seeing it.. Go down the road with a human on it." "Onward Sally! I think there are more humans that way. Let's ride off and find other humans to mingle with." Then, the M109 makes some weird sea lion noise and you ride off. Lmao
I call B.S. The Scout is a wonderful bike but you could clearly see that the guy on M109 wasn’t pushing his bike at all. Nobody sits 100% upright when putting the hammer down. No way.
@@BrandonBicasso indian Is replacing it for free the is a 5 year warranty on indian scout starters made from 2015-2017 it's article ISA-17-01 but the bike sat for 4 years so it's not unsurprising
@@BrandonBicasso No shit sherlock but we aren't comparing a V4 to a V-twin or a 1200cc to a 1400cc. We are talking 650cc's difference here between 2 v-twins.
@@poorasslawstudent 650ccs with different tuning, weight, shaft versus belt, power ranges, etc. There's more variables than cubic inches. The V-Rod is 650ccs less but outperforms the Scout and is on par with the 109.
Lol @brandon bicasso I love how u schooled r john nicely after he was being a dick head. Hes an idiot. I bought a scout. I test drove one before I got mine. It seemed quit a bit faster than mine. Same bike but his had vance and hines pipes. Mine just has stage one. Does it make that much of a difference?
I realize this was 5 months ago but your into is a little misleading. I mean no disrespect nor am I triggered I apologize if someone has already said this in their comments. I own an M109 since 2010 and have been on many forums since 2008. Your MODs that you have do little to nothing for power... the Cobra dragster are one of the worse exhaust for producing power and that's on any bike. They are however one of the loudest out there. Your intakes from the video look to be stock so at best you have K&N filters which again do little to nothing for power. I am not taking anything away from the Indian but a truly modified 9 will walk away from it all day. Still a cool video amongst friends.
What other mods is there to do to a 109 other than tuning?.... There is hardly any after market support for the 109 other than exhaust and tuning. My 109 has walked several stock 109s and others with different exhaust and tuning set ups so it's definitely not producing stock numbers.
Brandon Bicasso there are motor modifications that can be done and you are correct about the hyperchargers they are all show but there are intakes out there if you really wanted your 9 to breath better.
Motor modifications such as? Cams, pistons, big bore kit? What are we referring to? For me, exhaust and tuning is a performance mod. Anything that is not from the factory spec is a modification in my book. And so far, nothing I've seen available is widely produced or worth it without compromising the longevity and reliability of the 109 engine.
Cams for sure pistons would be pointless because the 9 pistons are big enough. I agree that you'll create major issues over time when attempting to create more power. However if you were to go with different intakes and a 2 in 1 exhaust system and have your ECU flashed you would see a huge difference without damaging your motor
Triggered!!!! I will be honest, on roll-on races this doesn't surprise me. The M109r has more power. Try taking it to a drag strip and race from a dead stop where Indian may have an advantage. Might be interesting.
I think that will make the situation worse, actually, lol. Seems that if the 109 is in the same gear as the Indian or one below, there's no chance. But yeah, looking to do a dead stop. Just terrified of the 109 off the line like that. : /
Depends on the rider. 200 pounds is a big difference. Comparing Power to Weight ratios and they’re close. But that’s splitting hairs on numbers. It’s not about that every time but if you have a rider that knows how to launch a bike, doesn’t matter what you have. Race is over by then.
None of this takes into account peak torque range or gearing! Either way, the Scout Bobber is hella impressive stock!
Brandon Bicasso are those the stock grips on the bobber? If not, you got a vid of the installation? Victory Octane cousin here
Blurry Face Yes, those are stock.

Man that M109 look's good. The paint on that is sic. Yeah it may not be as quick or as fast as the scout but you get all that bike for that price........it's just amazing. That's probably going to be my next bike.
Nah, it's faster than the Scout, lol. Scout does have a weight advantage, though.
1133cc vs 1783cc, displacement usually wins!
Maaaaybe
compression has a lot to say though
Unkle Fritz ad the compression of each is ?
I had a VTX1800 and I regret selling it. But the M109R is the terminator of all cruisers. Man what a bike!
try the valkyrie.... hahaha
Valkyrie is very low geared for Highway, considering it is a GW motor. Makes them quick but feel like it needs a 6th gear. The 9 literally loafs on the HWY.
Such a nice guy for the disclaimer!
Was just trying to be transparent. 💁🏾♂️
Excellent video! M109R... What's the top speed? How is passing from 80 mph on? Wyoming Interstate speed limits are 80mph & lots of big rigs to pass.
About 150ish. No issues passing
It’s 139.6 safety switch on transmission from factory to which doesn’t allow the 240 wheel exceed I own an 07 highly modded 116+ to rear wheel in Texas
@@BrandonBicasso wow outstanding. thx
@@WilliamJohnson-bc3wd wow better than I thought! Thx
@@donkramer2579 Mine doesn't have the limiter on it so it'll go above that.
I got a sweet spot for the X
The m109r is the way to go, I have the black version of that beast. I recently let a friend of mine that just purchased a 2016 Harley and even he said the rush he got on my 109 doesnt compare. His Harley is the one with 107 ci Milwaukee somethin' hes thinking of returning it and purchasing the b.o.s.s., you have to remember the m109 has 127hp+ at the wheel stock!
Have you thought about a Triumph Rocket 3. I love mine and she will pucker any asshole that grips and rips it. She is hefty though! ;)
Find one where you see it and say “oh shit yes man thats me right there”
m109r will rip your arms out of the sockets, in a manner of speaking. you must try one.
Since you're a Kawasaki guy, look into the Vulcan Vequero. Just get Ivan's ECU Flash for it.
The m109 is a beast of a bike I'd say the best reliable muscle cruiser out there!
It sure is! 👌😎
I'm buying an Indian Scout Bobber. Love that bike.
Fantastic machine 😎💪
I know its mentioned but you absolutely cant just do gear pulls. Im not sure how the m109 is geared, but that scout can hit 80 before shifting to 3rd from a dig. Would be interested to see a lightly modded scout bobber (mybset up: set up run against an this m109. Shorties, S&S intake, and tune with a barnett clutch kit) run it. I never come across any fun bikes though....
Looked like fun!
iRidez650 It was a lot of fun! Safe fun :)
If you weren't in the power band of the Bobber (4500rpm) when you launched you are doing it an injustice.
Tanker Ten Most cases I was. The M109R just pulls harder.
Tanker Ten That's to be expected, though.
SCOUT-What do you think the H/P would be with just an air cleaner, Vance pipes, and a proper performance tune?
I want to see a full on heads up race
I would too. Don't have the Bobber anymore, unfortunately.
Brandon Bicasso Great advice! Thanks bud.
did you guys ever get a chance to do another run after mods (before the wreck) ??
Nah...
dang. would've been cool to see the rematch.
I know :(
so if you add some modes on the scout and race against the suzuki again there would be different results?
+Ricardo Manriquez I think so. It did well in stock form.
EINSTEIN^^^^^^
Thanks for the subscribe! Do you mind if I share a video or two of yours?
Go for it
Lmao I feel your pain, scout: 1st gear? 109: nah imma stick to 2nd. Somewhere there is a 109 owner crying with a broken trans from a spicy 1-2 shift
Lmao, a spicy 1-2 shift 😂😂☠️☠️
Do you still like it? Any complains, any regrets?
Goratchthemule Regrets, complaints?.. What are those? 😎
That's what I like to hear
109r all the way. Low end grunt, high end HP! Best of both worlds and you can ride two up with the ladies!
You got that right 👌😎
+ cobra pipes = nirvana
Hi, how tall are you? You think the bobber scout would fit a 6ft guy 215 lb guy?
Sure will. Get the extended reach handle bar and extended reach foot controls.
Also, I'm 5'10"
What are the main reasons you picked the Indian over the triumph?
Practicality (gas tank size, rear seat, etc), performance and getting it worked on if needed.
Also, both of those are great bikes.
So So... The Scout wasn't in its league per say... I think it did well, though! I think it would run with the 109 off the line, though.
Brandon Bicasso In reality, I’m pretty sure the 0-60 times for both bikes stock are about the same.
I loveee my bobber noticed that if you're racing 2nd doing 40 on the bobber is thee besttr way to gooo
Absolutely! The Bobber's a beast!
Its not fair but on the street vs the random dude u met 2 lights ago it realistic
They're both the same people?
i love m109r bcause it is fierce
That it is 😎🤙
The 9 weighs about 200 LBS more than the Indian. Those 9's are just plain more powerful!
That Indian got some giddy up, though!
Def not the rider. Should research the 109/Vrod and consider torque.
Power to weight ratio and gearing 🤟🏾
Gearing is allwrong. The scout is a high rev engine... get it pass 5krpm to feel the pull
ktl2001 Oh well.
Now I want to see you run a Vmax1200, or Vmax1700.
Play with the big kids.
One day. Might buy one this year
I'm jealous I still have to wait to get my scout
Luis Fructuoso It's worth the wait.
Dude the M109 has 700 more CC's of course its going to pull harder 🤦♂️
Lol, of course we know that. Just wanted to see whether the Bobber holds its own.
Brandon Bicasso you’re right, that Scout could theoretically lay waste to that M109 with the proper tuning
Brandon Bicasso water vs air cooling too so the displacement differential won’t mean that much
Mmmm, ion know about all that..... I'm still team M109R and hella biased :D
Brandon Bicasso then you have a very hard lesson to learn 😎
Never really cared for the looks of the 109s. They always remind me of some type of overfed sea creature. Seeing it go down the road with a human on it, I gotta admit, it looks pretty good. I think the thinner pipes take away some of its chunkiness.
saddlebag The way you describe it is oddly entertaining. "Seeing it.. Go down the road with a human on it." "Onward Sally! I think there are more humans that way. Let's ride off and find other humans to mingle with." Then, the M109 makes some weird sea lion noise and you ride off. Lmao

TY for that laugh....You got talent bro
I always like your videos. And yes the bobber is in another class. Not in a m109r class. I do have a scooter to compare the bobber with.😂
At least you're on 2 wheels ; )
The m109r wasn’t even being ridden hard. Mine goes a lot harder than that. The Indian wouldn’t have a chance
Those things to me are not mods to me. Just upgrades
Cool 🤙
i miss my 9
You can get another one 👀👀👀👀👀 9s for everyone 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@BrandonBicasso yea, I have thought about it... but Im leaning toward a new Indian Chieftain I think.
Either choice would be great although the Chieftain has more convenience. You'll lose power, but there are some after market options for that as well.
Indian exhaust looks like someone strapped a couple logs to the side of the bike.
LOL! Glad I changed mine to slightly smaller logs
I call B.S. The Scout is a wonderful bike but you could clearly see that the guy on M109 wasn’t pushing his bike at all. Nobody sits 100% upright when putting the hammer down. No way.
He owned a 109 so he knew what he was doing. The Scout has several hundred pounds on the 109.
Of course the 109 is faster, but the Scout isn't a slouch. I can say that from owning both. 👌😎
I think the only time he didn't hammer down was at the ending which was clear because I got the jump. On the highway though it was wide open.
I want vintage dark horse from indian
Nice whip
Just got my 2016 scout and the 2nd day I had it the starter died
On a used bike if it sits, it happens. Even on new bikes. Replace it and keep it moving.
@@BrandonBicasso indian Is replacing it for free the is a 5 year warranty on indian scout starters made from 2015-2017 it's article ISA-17-01 but the bike sat for 4 years so it's not unsurprising

Not necessarily. Bigger cc's doesn't always mean faster.
I think the Indian just has that classic styling, and its lighter by about 200lbs right? The Suzuki looks lame to me.
No matter what mods go/went on the bobber,, the 109 will walk it everytime
That 9... got me looking out the window at it right now
Cool cool
Shit if i had the money id have both in the garage.
The scout doesnt stand a chance vs m109r the suzuki got way more torque and hp than the scout
Yeah, but the Scout has a 200+ pound weight advantage. That makes a big difference so the comparison isn't as far off as it seems.
If the guy on the M109R knew his stuff, the bobber had no chance. My friend Scott has a scout. He is 5' 5" and knows his stuff. My 109r destroys him.
Lol ok.
And if you read the forums, the hyper charger air breathers don't do much more compared to the K&N so I didn't waste my money on it, lol.
I dream for a 6th gear.
You and me both. Hopefully, the 109 successor hits all the marks.
There is no way the Indian can beat the Suzuki. Suzuki has a lot more power and torck
And more weight
@@BrandonBicasso yes however the Suzuki still would win
Depends on the rider. 200 pounds is a big difference. Comparing Power to Weight ratios and they’re close. But that’s splitting hairs on numbers. It’s not about that every time but if you have a rider that knows how to launch a bike, doesn’t matter what you have. Race is over by then.
M1o9r....gay bike
