23:32 @PoddyC Old Ironforge you can still get to by going through the Throne room in ironforge. You don’t need to glitch to get there. Thats where Magni was before he was he woke up.
Nah, for the Horde Warchiefs question, you have to specify which Horde. The fell corrupted Horde that invaded Azeroth is not at all the same as Thrall's Horde.
Not sure, but maybe dorki watches league of legends. New jeans was there at the world's finals last year. I also knew the answer and I have no idea about kpop
Kams and Fronk need to take this show on the road. Clean up some of the tech stuff and get 3 creators per week/month and you got yourself a UA-cam channel.
All these ultra punishing curse dispels should be dispellable by EITHER magic or curse. Let all healers play around the mechanic and dps hybrids get to use their personal dispel too. Increase frequency of mechanic if needed for difficulty.
One thing is missing in the m+ gatekeeping discussion is that even for dps the utility difference is a huge deal in terms of invites. Warriors for example bring absolutely nothing, so if you dont have overwhelming damage, why would anyone bring you. On the other hand you have enhance or dk. The first adds dispells, heroism and whatnot, the latter brings a combat ress, grips etc. Of course i don't bring the warrior if the damage between the three is comparable.
Had a city of threads 12 fail last night and I'm pretty convinced it would have timed with no issue with a DK who brings grip amz and unkillableness. Maybe even a darkness from dh just barely.
@@notchivas5662 grip is VERY good this season, amz is super strong against such hard hitting mechanics, and most importantly...u named b shout as their 1 thing but then u shud know that b shout is absolute ass in a 5man because it doeant have a 5man buff like everything else unless I missed that change?
Silken Court is a weird boss. Yesterday we managed to bug the boss in a way that the spike phase got skipped and the caster boss just never showed up again. Killed it, were stuck in combat, all hearthed out, boss respawned, no loot when we killed it the second time. GGs small indie company.
"Fabious" is wrong, it doesn't "drop" the mount since you don't have to kill him, you have to take a selfie with him. The one underwater mount that actually "drops" a mount with the same name as the mob is Poseidus.
If we want to get really pedantic about it, that's also wrong because, while the item name is Reins of Poseidus, the actual mount is named Abyssal Seahorse. 🤓
As far as tanking being enjoyable goes, imo dying to just melees is by far the least fun thing about tanks. For one mob melees are just not telegraphed well at all so it feels kind of random if you aren’t familiar with the dungeon, but mainly it feels like a numbers check instead of a challenging mechanic. A boss like Leymor from Azure Vault was actually pretty fun to tank because the damage is extremely predictable and you have to rotate and plan your cooldowns accordingly while doing positional stuff at the same time. It was brutal but fair. Mobs that have actual tank mechanics like the enrage guys in grim batol or the piercing shard guys in azure vault are way less frustrating than mobs that randomly hit for like 30% of your health because there is an actual mechanic going on that you can mitigate.
Mythic+ is what I spend most my time ingame doing. I raid in a lower level CE guild (rank 800-900) so Ive gotten myself up to 629 ilvl, timed all keys on 11 and working on 12's. Managed to time 12SV the other day which arguably is the hardest key (at the time it was rank 261 world). However, queueing into the more "free" 12's like Mists, no luck. Life of a DPS this expansion is generally just have higher score than needed or play your own key. Even as a borderline meta-spec (enhance) there is no invites. Gatekeeping is more bound to score than class.
Im not in this eschelon but i had to have a tank friend help me get ksm. I could not find groups for dungeons i needed as mm hunter without him. And we did it with ease and not even abusing meta specs
Tanking and healing is the best its ever been in m+ its so fun when yoy actually have to know the dungeon yeah every healer should be able to dispell everything. Stops are still very useful in m+ doesnt rly matter if they recast the spell 2 seconds later. That just gives kicks more time to come back and every class have like 2 stops.
In response to the gatekeeping: The 12 barrier was so intense to the community that like 90% of pug players were stuck at that wall without voice chat/stacked group. Now, everyone trying to do the 12s after nerf will only invite people who did 12s pre-nerf. Its a weird situation that is worse than the Augmentation release. These changes mid-season are aweful and if you cannot push your own key, you’re probably out for the season. Personally, I’ve tried to push my key and theres like an 80% brick chance and its mostly to the 15 second death timer. Most of my keys die after 4 deaths because either people leave or we finish the dungeon like 30-60 seconds past timer.
i just dont get, why so many content creator dont get the problem with gatekeeping. The reason gatekeeping is at an all time high is because the dungeons are and especially at the start of the season were broken and the way they missed the balancing is almost comedy. They completly missed the mark and it shows in the feedback: Yes if you play good and with the right comp and in disocrd you time this keys but it is just too much for the community. Make m plus easier again. Last time we had that "just be good" mentality from the devs it was in shadowlands and wow raiding almost died.
i feel like a huge reason for gatekeeping is not just that it's hard because of balancing, but also that the system itself keeps getting more punishing. less than half the crests for completion vs intime, now a 15s death penalty instead of 5s, etc. this incentivizes people to leave early if something goes even slightly wrong, in order to "not waste time on a long weekly no leaver run for just 5 crests". but people leaving early wastes the time of the keyholder even more, because he now has to play up his key again. so the logical solution is to gatekeep as hard as possible to have the "objectively highest chance of success". i feel like we really need to move away from such punishing systems, get rid of the 15s penalty, award full crests and loot for completion, maybe even get rid of keystone depletion (other than voluntary depletion through speaking with panda lady). only extra reward for timing a key should be upgrading your key to the next level. and after that, something needs to be done about leavers. wow needs have a forfeit system like e.g. in League, where you're only allowed to leave the key if 4/5 people voted "Yes" to forfeit (1 less vote needed for every 5 min overtime). if you disconnect or leave the key then you (and the group you're in) can't sign up or post your own keys for some time (10min for first time, increasing with how often you leave).
it's actually insane that stuff like casual battlegrounds and even LFR has a leaver-buster system in wow, but the real main game modes where it would matter (M+ dungeons and also Mythic raid because of IDs) don't.
@@sipi725 dont think so honestly, a lot of the toxic gatekeeping comes from the fact that a key can be over and the time fully wasted if something goes slightly wrong. so ppl dont wanna take any chances. if punishments are removed and leaving is actively discouraged then the pug environment will become much friendlier and ppl will be much likelier to take off-meta choices as the worst that can happen is that the run takes a few more minutes. and leavers will finally have to waste their own time too and not just the keyholders time
alsoo just listening to Dorki enjoying his invincible DK while everyone else struggles! The game is just easier for some classes and roles, and it is fucking fun. Why not make the game fun for everyone?
MOST IMPORTANT POINT ABOUT M+: For all these M+ problems to be solved it MUST be more pug friendly!! Pugs are the majority of the community and if the dungeons are easier to complete without an organized group and voice comms then the community will react positively. This doesn’t mean pushing high keys has to be easy either. Use affixes for higher keys to make their pushes harder because they have the organization and communication to deal with them. Give the under 2500-3000 io players no affixes and just the natty dungeon experience!! OR affixes that can be accomplished by a single player for the lower keys so you aren’t relying so heavily on others to play right
Regarding the tank changes, I think a lot of it comes down to there's just not a lot of oomph to most of the hero talents for most tanks. Like Mountain Thane has some good stuff going on, but that's kinda it.
Both Max and Dorki mentioned in this episode how fun playing Frost DK is. Could you guys link the build or general playstyle you're using? I've tried Frost and didn't find the same fun engagement with it. But maybe I'm using the wrong spec. I like the utility that DK has, but I haven't found a playstyle that clicks with me.
watching dratnos' cam shaking because he's furiously spamming the buzzer (only to still lose to max) is killing me

Dratnos not built for a life of crime, completely changed his posture and facial expression, smiled while googling the answer.
you can't tell he never cheated on school lol

This was a fucking hilarious episode, the "North Korean Defection" chart literally got me in tears.
I'm here how max ended up talking about north Korean defect rates 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This episode and that moment in particular immediately turned me into a patreon
