I'm 43 years old and this song reminded me of growing up through the 80s in the 90s to now boy things used to be great. Now things are mediocre at best, thank God for bands like Halestorm bringing back the good times...
Some don't like this band cos they are a bit cheesy. Some, girls mostly, don't like it cos of Lzzy. Some lads don't like it cos their aint noone screaming or grunting over the top. I LIKE IT BECAUSE IT LOOKS AND SOUND GREAT!!!!! Something you can actually listen to in the rock world for a change.
totally agree, a lot of people these days think that if something has an electric guitar in it it is heavy and screamy but they don't know about this stuff which is truly brilliant
Angel of Darkness 040 I'm personally more into New Years Day but I have to admit that Halestorm is honestly awesome so is ArchEnemy but there's also some other awesome female bands Barbed Wire Dolls, War on Women , but sadly a lot of the best female bands don't get recognition
Jonathan Brealey People pigeon hole themselves. I listen to almost every kind of music. Yes classical included. Not a big fan of jazz, or newer rap. Definitely not a fan of artists like Myley Cyrus. But just about everything else is cool with me. Depends on my mood.
I'm an OLD goat, married over 37 yrs. 1st time I've heard of this band. I love this song! They're opening for Alice Cooper in November in Charleston, that's how I learned about Halestorm. I have to say I'm beyond impressed.
My wife and I walked to this song at our wedding. Priceless to see the surprise on everyones faces. Songs that hit like this one dont come around often.
I wish I could write something this beautiful. This entire album is a masterpiece in every aspect. From slow love songs to ranchy anthems, even great songs when you go through a bad time in your life and wanna kick someone's a$$. Love the band 💖💖💖💖
Thanks Lzzy et al. The show at The Eastern was great. It was my wife and my 30th anniversary. She often doubts my musical tastes...and she said 'The Warning' was a 'very close' second. Maybe you shouldn't have given her the guitar...lol.
Its the last song my husband I ever danced, Ohhh and I miss him so much. Baby my whiskey rest well in heaven and I hope heaven is happy hearing your music once again. I love ya.
This is one my favorite songs from Halestorm. It would be really cool to see them in another video making wardrobe changes but from different music genres. Maybe Country, 90's Pop, New Metal, Punk, Gothic Rock or 90's Electronic music.
I love the thought and execution of this video from 80's hairband to 90's grunge, to current Halestorm. Kudos to the person(s) that thought this up and made it a reality, and thank you to Halestorm for recording this track.
Halestorm is another "newer" band that proves there are still great songwriters out there. They are a breath of fresh air... followed by a primal scream! 'Love em! 'Nuff said.
Two good friends of mine was moving out of their apartment and asked me if I could help them with cleaning. One of them put on a Spotify playlist and this song came on. So glad I discovered it.
***** I'm straight, and even I understand the meaning of gay pride more than you do. People are proud to be gay and to speak out about it, while many in this country and around the world are closed minded and dislike gays. To have pride in being a 'minority' in today's society is correct. The points you brought up were absolutely and completely idiotic, and you only brought those up to further help your messed up point you were trying to make...
Kyle Carter I go to pride and it doesn't even feel like gay is the main topic. It just makes you proud to be who you are in general whether male, female, tall, short, black, white, asian, fat, skinny etc. It seems to be ALL about sexuality on face value but when you actually go, it seems to be about being proud of EVERYONE :)

Put our dreams through the shredder
Let's toast 'cause things got better
And everything could change like that
And all these years go by so fast
But nothing lasts forever

'Cause the last few nights have kicked my ass
If they give you hell
Tell 'em go fuck themselves
Here's to us
Here's to us
Here's to all that we kissed
And to all that we missed
To the biggest mistakes
That we just wouldn't trade
To us breaking up
Without us breaking down
To whatever's coming our way

I recommended this song for my friends wedding. Ultimately the DJ didn't play it, and I was relieved. I'd rather play it at my own wedding.
We got our civil partnership to this song and have "Here's to us" engraved in Elvish & Dwarven inside our rings. We are Team Us.
Damn that's next level! Congrats!
I will so play this during my wedding. I just love it. This speaks to me so much.
I can not get over how awesome this song is. Seriously I get goosebumps and start jumping around whenever I listen to this.
Something you can actually listen to in the rock world for a change.
totally agree, a lot of people these days think that if something has an electric guitar in it it is heavy and screamy but they don't know about this stuff which is truly brilliant
listen to Crucified Barbara and Crashdiet if you want something in the rock world.
Jonathan Brealey I thought Lzzy was the reason why girls WOULD LISTEN to the band lol
One of the greatest songs ever.
The most powerful and beautiful song ever written ❤
The most genuine rock Band I’ve seen in a long time
Anthem..doesnt EVEN begin to describe this!!! Halestorm rules!!
Songs that hit like this one dont come around often.
this is a really good song...kinda how i feel on Friday nights
I wish I could write something this beautiful. This entire album is a masterpiece in every aspect. From slow love songs to ranchy anthems, even great songs when you go through a bad time in your life and wanna kick someone's a$$. Love the band 💖💖💖💖
One of the most underrated voices/bands out there with imo
Bar Rescue brought me here! Love this band! Thanks John!!
The best 80s metal power ballad that isn't from the 80's
This wouldn't be a power ballad. A power ballad is slower....j.s.
I stand corrected@@Shawn-mo6dh
@@PaddyLaPoint it was close to a power ballad. But not completely close enough
Wow. The more videos of these guys I watch the more I love them. What a good band
I could listen to her voice all fucking day.. her voice is fucking amazing. I love her voice.
Thanks Lzzy et al.
The show at The Eastern was great.
It was my wife and my 30th anniversary.
She often doubts my musical tastes...and she said 'The Warning' was a 'very close' second.
Maybe you shouldn't have given her the guitar...lol.
and now she's gone...this song will live on.
She has an amazing voice.
Its the last song my husband I ever danced, Ohhh and I miss him so much. Baby my whiskey rest well in heaven and I hope heaven is happy hearing your music once again. I love ya.
I'm sorry for your loss. I hope that time is healing you❤
@@SH-je4qg its not easy. But I have a son who needs his mom. So I fight onward thank you. Shalom
A song for the good times and the bad times.
My friend (my best guy friend in college) sent this to me recently. It’s such a perfect song.
Damn this sure gives me the nostalgic vibes
Damn, this song still kicks ass!
This is one my favorite songs from Halestorm. It would be really cool to see them in another video making wardrobe changes but from different music genres. Maybe Country, 90's Pop, New Metal, Punk, Gothic Rock or 90's Electronic music.
I play this song literally every Friday after work when I crack my first weekend brew!
The range of her voice is amazing!!
her voice 🥹🎸
Listening to this on my graduation day Class of 2020
We've been married 38 years and play this all the time. Love it
We have been married for 38 years too and my husband just got diagnosed with cancer. This song says it all ❤💔
I just closed my office door, put this on full screen and maxed out my PC speakers. Here's to us all.
Without a doubt one of the best set of pipes belting out lyrics
5 decades of rock and roll in one song
I love the thought and execution of this video from 80's hairband to 90's grunge, to current Halestorm. Kudos to the person(s) that thought this up and made it a reality, and thank you to Halestorm for recording this track.
We're going to hit 22 years next year & this is our marriage & relationship in a nutshell. Thank you for this amazing song!!! Much love from MI!!
Dedicated to the one nobody knows exists
Halestorm is another "newer" band that proves there are still great songwriters out there. They are a breath of fresh air... followed by a primal scream! 'Love em! 'Nuff said.
Newer...? They're a band since 1998 o.o
Yeah, still newer since I never heard a single cut from them in this town until about 3 years ago.
keehni oh, so it's that, they're newer for you... and what? Do u like'em? :)
Two good friends of mine was moving out of their apartment and asked me if I could help them with cleaning. One of them put on a Spotify playlist and this song came on. So glad I discovered it.
PERFECT SONG for gay pride. The lyrics and everything. Damn, should have played this when I was there.
***** Shut up, it was fun XD
- From a bisexual woman
***** Fucking right I want some egual rights for green eyed people.
Zack Kyran If me just talking about my life offends you THAT much, it says more about you than it does about me tbh.
I love this song, both the glee version and d original they both take me to diff emotional levels
love her voice
...here's to us cause the las few nights have kicked my ass!!! HAPPY New year!!!
just heard u guys in the radio and hurried to youtube! how come i have never listen to your music! i will def buy tickets if u ever come here ! much love from Denmark
Incredible song. Still gives me shivers after so many years.
Not only that the song has amazing lyrics & Lzzy’s voice is more than great
I love the fact that they’ve put my favourite alcohol in the video lmao
waited my whole adolescent to senior for a woman rocker like you .... to keep the woman of rock alive!❤
Love this song, and added it to the wedding playlist.
2 years with the hubby felt like a lifetime, and it's wonderful ❣
Has everyone here been through this kind of hell? This song is so freaking real.
never mind loving the song - this video kicks ass
I think this song is one of the best for showing how wonderful her vocals actually are.
"The last few days have kicked my ass", Covid turned days into a year
Going on part of a second year unfortunately...
The last few years have kicked my ass.

to reiterate... 3 decades of music in one song...
Heard this song on Amazon music today and was hooked. Great tune.
Somehow this song bring my whole mind back to 90's. The happiest years of me. Thanks Halestorm
