I love how you're like yeah i want like a 4-5 car garage and im sitting here telling my wife i pray we get at least a 2 car garage, lol. Interesting enough, I was kinda looking at a type r before I bought my rs3.
We all start somewhere! Was renting an apartment for many years. Then moved to renting houses with my brother. Then bought our current house with my wife. And since the cars are how I make a living. The new house with a massive garage is for business use. So it’s also a write off lol. RS3 is a great car!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Just as a note I meant my comment more genuinely than a poke. I'd love to be able to work in my own garage. Between my wife and I we only have two vehicles so a 2 car is enough. Maybe slightly bigger. But right now it's just our driveway and I'd love to get proper protection from the elements. And birds... lol
@@Screlz Yeah I've done a ton in driveways at apartments and rental houses over the years. And a lot in our 2 car garage. Welcome to the club I got blue 23 fl5 just be aware I drive like the road is a track and the brakes wear out quick so drive normal if you can resist otherwise you’ll be changing pads 2 a year and the rear brakes wear quicker than the front you could get away with front brakes once a year and rear 2 times unless you drive super slow , once you hear your brakes squeaking or a scrape it’s just a rock turn up your music don’t trip bought mine new not even 2 miles on it love it dealers charge almost 1k to switch out rear brakes 😢
I'll keep an eye out on them! Im sure there are some good pads tho I could get as replacements. Easy enough to swap out at home. I'll check them next time I take the wheels off
I agree! I can always buy another MK5. But the perfect spot of land popping up to build our dream house doesn't come up that often. So this was a perfect swap to still have a fun car but also get closer to building
Very true! I think once I checked the dream car off my bucket list my perspective of cars has changed. So now I’m finding it makes way more sense to have very different cars. So far super happy with this choice!

Congrats! I had a 2019 for a few years and am getting back into another soon. I'm curious about your garage walls -- are you into upholstery or what's the story there?
Thanks! We'll just be doing normal drywall. But probably painting the ceiling and parts of the walls black and having a to of LED lights. So it will look more like a really cool shop and be a sweet backdrop for when I'm filming videos. Will probably do a bit of a Lamborghini theme like what we did in our current garage, but a bit different
@@Driv300mph Yeah the hexigons are mirrors we found and vinyl wrapped them. The squares are picture frames we wrapped in alcantara fabric and the left for are leather samples we found. All from eBay and the dollar store. So pretty cheap way to mimick the Lambo dealer
As an owner of both cars this is a great choice. The Hondas usability for everyday can't be beat. And its not faster but feels more fun and nimble. The supra is just a different experience. It's a monster but can be tight for daily and isn't as thrilling to drive around town as I usually hit the speed limit in one gear 🙈😂
Yeah the Type-R is a blast! Feels fast when you rip on it. Supra certainly has a more luxury vibe and is a next level car. But I just wasn't craving what it has to offer. So the Type-R seemed perfect for the price I wanted to be at. Time for some fun with it!
Congrats on the type r! Interested in hearing your comparison between this and the Supra (especially on the shifter). I’m coming from an fk8 and really have been trying to find a 6mt Supra and would love to hear from someone’s who’s had both!
The Supra has a great manual. Very solid and refined feeling. I think the CTR is a bit easier to drive as a manual. Really easy to have smooth shifts without your passenger feeling them. Supra was a bit more hands on and took more effort to be as smooth. Supras is better overall but the CTR is still really good!
Sorry for being late but congrats on the land purchase! Once you move to your new home you will be at peace with having your privacy. Being able to build my dream home may or may not happen for me but just cutting out negativity since 2020 is enough for me to have at least some of the aforementioned peace of mind. Just always know as your UA-cam friend that I'm happy for you and glad you are working towards another major goal!
Yeah just keep working towards your goals! Glad you enjoyed the video! Will be a wild time when we start building. But I'll be able to do a lot more with the next garage. So that will be pretty sweet!
I feel this, I'm trading my S3 in on a Elantra N, funnier car to drive and much much cheaper so I can get other things done, like fund my next 3 movies etc😎
I considered a Type R before I bought my '24 Supra and was shocked to see the insurance cost was the same if not more than the Supra. That's one thing that a lot of people forget about. Sometimes you save in one side and spend more on the other. Congratulations on your new purchase!
Really? I just got an $90 check back from insurance on the Type-R. It's a bit cheaper than the Supra. Insurance has always been cheap on all my cars since they are bundled together. It'll be some fun tho!
Nice! I filmed an Emira and had a blast with it. Got to spend several hours with it. Would love to drive another one at some point, they are really cool!
Oh cool! This has been a fun car so far and I have no buyers remorse! So well worth picking up! At some point I'll get into an M car. But this is a great all around vehicle without breaking the bank
That was the plan for my next car after the Supra. But when the land popped up, I'm much more motivated to build our new house then add another expensive car, so we jumped on it. Once we build and are settled an M car will probably replace the Type-R. But buying an M2 now would really delay building
You know I have been thinking of trading my A91 for the same reasons, money, house build but thinking about getting civic hybrid though. All in all you did it for a smart decision.
I haven't looked back! Supra is a great car. But I am having just as much fun in the Type-R. It's a blast of a car and nice to have something that isn't expensive lol
The Type R is definitely on my radar for a new car soon. It checks a lot of boxes and probably will hold decent value in the years to come. I also owned a MK5 Supra few years ago, its not crazy to want a change like this.
Oh cool! Yeah these have held good values over the last several years. So probably a pretty safe bet. Definitely a fun car to drive and offers a lot of practicality. Well worth considering!
Yeah doing something different should be a good time! I think the Type-S would compete with the RS3. That's would feel like a budget luxury car and I'd always feel like it's a downgrade from the other cars we own. Type-R is nothing in the same category as the RS3 so it just feels like a really sporty hot hatch. So I like having three cars that are completely different and don't feel even remotely in the same category. Would be fun to get one as a press car and compare it to the CTR and RS3
It’s an interesting scenario, I have had 2 FK8’s and now an FL5 , and I am seriously considering getting a manual Supra. Also when you build your new garage, you should hit up Matt Moreman at Obsessed Garage. He will set you up with a killer garage. BTW FK8 was previous generation, yours is a FL5. Love the channel 👍
Yeah I now know the generations 😉 Supras are great and would be a fun next step for sure! Been really happy with this. Fun car and will help get us to our next goal. Lots planned for the future garage and shop space I’ll have to work with!
Yeah the B58 is the real motivator for the change and also I have had CTR’s since 2018 and looking for a different recipe and I’m in love with the Supras looks. Thanks for your input mate, it helps 👍
I currently own an FK8 but am looking to eventually get into an FL5…If you were to take exterior design and tech out of the equation (two major catalysts for decision making no doubt) would the upgrade be worth it based on pure driving experience?
I like them equally. Just depends on what you want out of it. My auto was great since I did a lot of highway commuting with it. The manual was great as a weekend toy car
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I appreciate the response. I had a 22 mk5 and sold it when I bought my house haha. Considering getting another one may have to try the manual.
I see this happen a lot. Gotta be tough. Supras are nice. One messed with me all the time. I'm able to keep up just fine. I'm guessing he's letting me or he isn't tuned. I'm tuned to 400lbs tq (dynojet). Anyway, interesting to keep seeing supras traded in for a CTR. And building a home is definitely a good investment either way
Yeah I had my fun with the Supra. They make some good power when tuned! My old white one made 560 WTQ. It was quick! But the CTR is workmen out to be a perfect car for my new needs! Having a lot of fun with it!
That would be a fun option if they had it. The new Nismo is a great car, but not at their MSRP. I don't mind the auto to be honest. So it's more of a price thing on that car for me
Well we are all in a different situation. Not too long ago I had a $14k Hyundai. And just 7 years ago I was renting an apartments and bought a $35k Nissan 370Z, and that was a ton for me to at the time. Keep working hard and budgeting money and year after year you will get to new levels. I've built a business around these cars. Just depends on what you are doing in life.
Obviously. But as mentioned in the video, with my Lamborghini, I didn’t find myself driving the Supra. Plus the RS3 is more capable than the Supra too. Perfect car to swap to help the house come sooner and still have fun. I’m not after buying the fastest best car out there. Wanted something fun on a lower budget that was also practical
@@davothegreat9990 I’ve owned two Supras and currently own the RS3. As a whole stock for stock the RS3 is definitely more capable. Yea the B58 is an easier powertrain to modify. But even doing identical mods the RS3 will still be faster since it’s AWD and DCT. Really splitting hairs tho. Both are awesome
@BrosFOURRSpeed rs3 is faster mainly due to it having a slightly bigger turbo stock compared to the Supra. Upgraded turbo supra is where it'll shine over the rs3.
@@davothegreat9990 If you do same mods on each car the RS3 will continue to outperform since it’s AWD. Both are different cars tho and are meant for a bit different type of driving. Both are crazy capable in performance. But RS3 is still overall more capable since it’s more practical with back seats and can handle inclement weather with AWD
I think my reasons makes sense tho. Time for bigger goals. But with the Lambo in the garage. Nothing competes with that anyways so I’m not really after the most performance in other cars. Same with the RS3 unless I buy a GTR nothing will be as fast as that. Type R was the perfect choice to reach our next goal and have a fun car
Yeah I had my fun with it. But as life changes it just didn't fit in anymore. Been very happy with the CTR and it's serving the exact purpose I was hoping it would!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed You are so right about life changing and unlike some UA-camrs, you are smart and have your priorities in order. I ordered a 2020 X5 which I thought was my dream car and loved it for a year. After getting an X6 as a loaner for service, my dream car changed and I had to get one. So now I have the X6. Things changed and I didn't need the functionality of the X5. I can't wait to see the house you and your wife build on that beautiful plot of land.
@@vinniedaniels3521 Yeah my wife keeps me level headed 😂 But I know building the new house with the big garage will open our business to bigger things. So it’s worth it and definitely more worth it than having the Supra over the CTR. X6 is super cool! Material items will always come and go for sure
Yeah it's peppy enough in a line. Defiantly no Supra. But the handling is amazing! But I wasn't crazing all out speed. The RS3 gives me that if I want speed. TypeR is good affordable fun with go cart like handling
Can you please do a video in about 6 to 8 months about you likes and dislikes about the FL5. for what it's worth it's actually my favourite hot hatch at the moment even tho I'm the biggest Toyota fan
Golf R is pretty cool. But that would definitely feel too much like a 'budget' RS3. I like how the Type-R feels completely different then the RS3 and Lambo to where it doesn't feel like it's trying to compete with them. Love the Audi for sure!
Normally I'd agree. But the Type-R hardly feels like FWD. Honestly the WRX STI feels more like FWD than this. So somehow Honda made this FWD car feel better then most AWD cars similar to it
Seems like a cool car. But my goal was just eliminating the loan on the Supra. So a $45k was as low as I needed to go. Plus the Elantra N, doesn't look like any are for sale right now. Plus they will probably depreciate a bit. The CTR is a car thats held value very well. So most likely I can sell this in a year for what I paid and have effectively spent nothing to own it. The Elantra would probably depreciate and cause me to lose money over the ownership
We're not building right now. Maybe a year or two out. So this gives me a practical sportscar for a while. When we break ground then I'll either sell this for the money to go towards the house or buy a utility vehicle like a truck or SUV
Some of these comments are cringe. You’ve explained why you made the switch to the type R and it’s like people just completely ignored it and still give their opinion. Nonetheless congrats on the new ride dawg.
lol most people have been pretty good in the comments. Only a few don't seem to comprehend life goals and the fact that money doesn't grow on trees LOL. But this is a fun change and I've been super happy with it!
Well if we need a few bags of concrete to extend a patio or bags of rocks for land scraping. The trunk is big enough for that. I used my wife's old Lexus IS300 to haul 9 bags of mulch and 40 bricks once to do our front land scaling. These cars can be work horse from time to time. If we start building and I find I need an actual utility vehicle, I'll swap it for a 4Runner and a utility trailer.
Honestly I like that part of this car. It's just a Civic. So I can use it like a basic car when needed. But then when I want some fun, the Type-R comes alive and I can rip on it through the turns and have a blast. So it's a good blend of a generic car but also a fun car
Just came across your channel, great content. I'm in the midst of choosing a new car, thinking between a Type R or a new RS3. Considering I live in South Florida, it makes the choice more difficult, cuz there's no snow or ice so AWD isn't a given. Also I'm single, no kids, never use back seats, so that's not a factor either. I do love a good dual clutch transmission, but it's been a while since I drove a good manual, and I know the CTR has one of the best. Roads are also super smooth here with no potholes, so a stiff car is no issue. And I wouldn't be tracking the car either. Being that you own both cars, is the extra almost 20K worth it to have a new RS3 compared to a new type R as my daily in your opinion? Or what I be better off with a Type R. I'm looking for fun, not overcomplicated, but also, I like the prestige of an Audi... You know when it comes to girls and stuff lol. Not going to lie. I'm also 39 but I look and act like I'm 25 lol. I would be buying either car in cash paid in full. I've come into a good amount of money so affordability isn't an issue. It's more a question of is the type R just as fun as the RS3, and is the RS3 that much better and more enjoyable of a car to warrant the extra cost? I'm also considering a new M2 as well. Which is priced similarly to the RS3. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Honestly I think both are well worth their price. Type-R seems more like a go cart to drive. It’s just plain fun and quick enough. RS3 is crazy fast and the refinements are really nice. Handles amazing but the CTR does steer a bit better. I think I’d go for the M2 over both. While the manual is a bit rubbery. It’s a fast car and feels so solid. If I had to buy of those three and backs seats were irrelevant, I’d go M2. Especially if the pricing doesn’t matter. But each are all well worth their price point and have a ton to offer. You’ll have fun with either choice to be honest.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thanks a lot bro... I actually think I'm going with the RS3. Just don't know if I prefer the '24, or the refreshed '25 styling. Thanks again
The new steering wheel looks cool. Not sure if I like the new badges and front end. But probably would be a 2 year wait to get the new one. Plenty of 2023's and 2024's available now. Enjoy!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed holy crap.. seriously there would be a wait for the 2025? Okay that makes it easier. Plus I kind of think I like the front end of the 2024 a little more anyway. Thanks bud
It was an 18 month wait to order our RS3. We ordered it when the 2022 models were out. But for brand new dealers only had a few allocations per year. It could be different now, but most likely it will be a wait. Talk with a few Audi dealers and see what it takes to get one. But there are quite a few 2023 and 2024 cars available right now. So would still be a solid choice!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed im in Hawaii lol. online the type r is 45k but when i went to the dealer its 65k🤦🏽 they tried to give it to me for 60k but its too much for a type r.
That's crazy for sure! Certainly not worth that price. When the FL5 came out dealers here were asking over sticker and people were buying them around $60k. On the mainland they are readily available at MSRP. I'd go Supra if you are finding them under $60k then
Yeah I love the Supra, but just didn't find myself driving it much once I bought the Lambo. So now it makes much more sense to have 3 very different cars
It’s a nice home for sure! But our goal has always been to build a custom house. Wasn’t planning to do this anytime soon. But the right lot popped up, had to make a move! New house won’t be much different. Just the bigger garage for my business use and the larger land for privacy
We own an RS3. I've been in the M340 a lot and they are great. But they are not as exciting as the RS3. So to me, it would feel like the boring sedan next to the RS3. CTR feels like a fun hot hatch with bucket seats and a manual. So it doesn't at all compete in the same category as the RS3, therefore it feels like a totally different experience. With the Supra being a 2 seat car, to me it was completing with the Lambo. So having three cars that are totally different make them all fun in their own way.
Yeah it's a BMW, but BMW makes awesome sportsacrs. And Toyota tuned this car. It drives night and day different compared to a Z4. I had fun with it for my time

We all start somewhere! Was renting an apartment for many years. Then moved to renting houses with my brother. Then bought our current house with my wife. And since the cars are how I make a living. The new house with a massive garage is for business use. So it’s also a write off lol.
RS3 is a great car!
@speeddemon311 Oh yes sir. I'm in love with my RS3!
But I'm maxing out my work space so the only way to continue to grow the business to have some serious room to work. So works out well we want to build a house anyways and can do a massive garage for it. Will be some fun!
The Type R looks dope!
Thanks! It’s super fun!
I'll check them next time I take the wheels off
Nice acquisition - I'm looking for a badass daily, four doors, fast, sounds great, looks good and useable in traffic. RS3 is top of the list.
Great choice! We love ours and it offers a ton for the money!
Congratulations on the land ! I’m excited to see what’s next !!
Thank! Fun stuff ahead with the Type-R!
Great choice 🎉 Downsizing to a FL5 is living the dream bro!!! The Type R is still an amazing sports car from what i see.
Cars come and go
I agree! I can always buy another MK5. But the perfect spot of land popping up to build our dream house doesn't come up that often. So this was a perfect swap to still have a fun car but also get closer to building
With the other 2 cars in the garage, the Supra wasn’t really necessary, excellent change and mature decision, props to you 🤝🏼
Very true! I think once I checked the dream car off my bucket list my perspective of cars has changed. So now I’m finding it makes way more sense to have very different cars. So far super happy with this choice!
welcome to the honda side.. rv6 have upgraded turbos and exhuast..prl for intercooler and intake pieces.. hondata for tuning.. hit up derek Robinson from imwtuning best honda tuner or there .. these regularly sit in between 400 to 500hp with mods
Oh sweet! Defiantly some new brands I need to learn on this car! Having a blast with it already!
Congratulations On Your Honda Civic Type R
Thanks! It’s a super fun car. Enjoying it much more than I thought!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Sounds cool! What about your current setup at 8:50 with all those fabric samples and hexagons?
I feel this, I'm trading my S3 in on a Elantra N, funnier car to drive and much much cheaper so I can get other things done, like fund my next 3 movies etc😎
oh nice! That should be a fun car!
You make a right choice can’t go wrong with fl5
Yeah great option for the money I think!
Congratulations on your new ride I wil give you a sub so you will be one step closer to achieving your goals 🎉🎉
Oh thanks! Fun car to check out for sure!
Sad to see the Supra go. I started following the channel from the Supra contents. But I’ve traded in my Supra for an Emira 😂
Supra was a great car! That new Emira is super fun. How are you liking it?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I loved the driving dynamics of the Lotus. It also sounds pretty good from stock. But you know, it's still a Lotus
Nice! I filmed an Emira and had a blast with it. Got to spend several hours with it. Would love to drive another one at some point, they are really cool!
Was close to buying a Supra and M2. FL5 seemed more practical for everything in life. Happy I chose this route.
Oh cool! This has been a fun car so far and I have no buyers remorse! So well worth picking up! At some point I'll get into an M car. But this is a great all around vehicle without breaking the bank
Bro, I'm going to miss that supra but hey is type r 😊 did you have any balance from the supra or it's paid off when you trade it with the type r?
The dealer paid the car off now that they own it. You can trade in a car even with an amount owed.
Integra type S owner here, looking forward to your type R content!
Sweet! I have more to come!
Welcome to the platform! You will love it!
Yeah it's a fun car already!
Congratulations on the dream house! Looks like a beautiful piece of land. Cheers!
Thanks! It will be a fun adventure when we get to building!
Thought you would be getting a manual M2....is the new place in Matthews or SC?
That was the plan for my next car after the Supra. But when the land popped up, I'm much more motivated to build our new house then add another expensive car, so we jumped on it. Once we build and are settled an M car will probably replace the Type-R. But buying an M2 now would really delay building
You know I have been thinking of trading my A91 for the same reasons, money, house build but thinking about getting civic hybrid though. All in all you did it for a smart decision.
I haven't looked back! Supra is a great car. But I am having just as much fun in the Type-R. It's a blast of a car and nice to have something that isn't expensive lol
I have an fk8 now paid off. I’m actually looking to buy a manual Supra.
Oh cool! You’ll love one. It has so much to offer for the money
I'm just stopping by to say congrats on the property purchase! 👍
Thanks! It'll be a fun project when the time comes!
Got my type R fl5 last week and its now my entire personality.
Interesting
I'd love to see you do a comp on the ITR dampers swap in this car!
I've heard some people talk about that. Could be cool
Your channel is about cars!!! Lots of cars !! Great trade… although curious why you didn’t get the integra type s?
Yeah I now know the generations 😉
Supras are great and would be a fun next step for sure!
Been really happy with this. Fun car and will help get us to our next goal. Lots planned for the future garage and shop space I’ll have to work with!
@80six30 The Supra will be a nice step up, and you'll have the B58 which is next level 👍
Yeah the B58 is the real motivator for the change and also I have had CTR’s since 2018 and looking for a different recipe and I’m in love with the Supras looks. Thanks for your input mate, it helps 👍
@@80six30 you’ll love it!
I currently own an FK8 but am looking to eventually get into an FL5…If you were to take exterior design and tech out of the equation (two major catalysts for decision making no doubt) would the upgrade be worth it based on pure driving experience?
Now that you have both supra (auto) and (6spd) which one did you enjoy more?
I like them equally. Just depends on what you want out of it. My auto was great since I did a lot of highway commuting with it. The manual was great as a weekend toy car
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I appreciate the response. I had a 22 mk5 and sold it when I bought my house haha. Considering getting another one may have to try the manual.
Manual is a blast for sure. If you don't deal with annoying bumper to bumper traffic. Go manual ;)
What suv was that on the street??
@@hugomota3696 which part?
congratulations man!
Thanks! Fun new platform to check out!
Would you get a manual Z Nismo if Nissan made it happen?
That would be a fun option if they had it. The new Nismo is a great car, but not at their MSRP. I don't mind the auto to be honest. So it's more of a price thing on that car for me
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I agree. The price is what really kills the Nismo. But hey, people are buying them under MSRP now.
@@jz7551 Yeah for MSRP I’ll go M2. But I’ve seen quite a few with discounts now
The Civic Typo R isn't a bad choice but I don't think I would do it
Perfect car for what I needed. What would you buy instead?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I’ll keep the legendary Supra. I mean it’s a Supra.
@@PhoHmooAmerica Oh yeah it’s a great car! But I’d rather build my dream house then hold on to a car I can always go buy again 🤷♂️

Mk4 looks shit
This your second time doing this 😭 but goodluck with the type R bro
Cars come and go. But I think my explanation in the videos makes some good sense. Bigger projects coming!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed understandable bro I totally get that
People lined up for months to get a Civic Type R as a dream car and bro buys one to cut back on spending 😂
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I'm just teasing a little. Great work! Your videos are great too!
Supra is a much more capable car though, but hope you enjoy the Honda CTR.
Rs3 isn't more capable. Supra b58 is more capable when modding
Can’t wait for the third Supra 🤣
@@techbutter2877 🤣😂
Maybe one day!! If they really do that GRMN, I will probably be tempted! Just depends on when we plan to build!
Maybe the third time will be the charm! Some people have to learn the hard way!
I am extremely surprised with this decision! You went backward in performance and overall a lower tier car, but it should still be fun!
@BrosFOURRSpeed I was really hoping you would pull the trigger on a 25 M2, so we could get some great content on that beast!😀
@@speeddemonRS3I’d love one! But I can’t see dropping $70k on a car when I’m working towards building. That would take me backwards
@BrosFOURRSpeed Your manual Supra is a bit faster in a roll race than the RS3 right?
@@speeddemonRS3 No, the RS3 is faster for sure. Delivers power instant and shifts way quicker. So that was our 'really fast' car of the three.
Good choices, congrats
Thanks!

Yes!
Smart move sir!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I was in total shock when you mentioned trading in the manual Supra after the journey to get it. But it makes total sense with your other projects.
@@vinniedaniels3521 Yeah my wife keeps me level headed 😂
But I know building the new house with the big garage will open our business to bigger things. So it’s worth it and definitely more worth it than having the Supra over the CTR.
X6 is super cool! Material items will always come and go for sure
Love the type R they are just slow straight but great on back roads. Now the golf R is 0-130 quick
Yeah I have plenty of videos coming with the new car! So far it's really fun to drive!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed will you be swapping that suspension module from the Acura to make the car softer or leave the suspension from Honda?

Thanks for the sub! Loving the CTR all ready!
I am not a fan of the Type R (much prefer a Golf R) but the utility is significant. And the fact that you are keeping the RS3 keeps you golden...; )
Golf R is pretty cool. But that would definitely feel too much like a 'budget' RS3. I like how the Type-R feels completely different then the RS3 and Lambo to where it doesn't feel like it's trying to compete with them. Love the Audi for sure!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Yeah - I absolutly hate FWD but that is personal preference.
Normally I'd agree. But the Type-R hardly feels like FWD. Honestly the WRX STI feels more like FWD than this. So somehow Honda made this FWD car feel better then most AWD cars similar to it

Log cabin?
Talk to my wife on that one ;)
She has all the designs picked out. Lot's of whites lol
Great vehicles. If budget it’s important you should take a look at an Elantra N
Why didn't u get a truck ? like a used trd pro or raptor since u gonna use for house/construction work.
We're not building right now. Maybe a year or two out. So this gives me a practical sportscar for a while. When we break ground then I'll either sell this for the money to go towards the house or buy a utility vehicle like a truck or SUV
Good choice
Thanks! Yeah I'm very happy with the choice. Worked out perfectly for our new goals and I really enjoy the car too!
This kinda reminds me of when Anakin Skywalker fell to the dark side.....YOU WHERE THE CHOSEN ONE!!!! 😢.

Type R is awesome
Yeah it's pretty fun!
But this is a fun change and I've been super happy with it!
congratz. so weird hearing someone say they're gonna use a type r to haul concrete lol
Congratulations
Thanks! Fun new toy!
Idk why but there’s something about driving a “Civic” that takes the “special” part out of it, even if it’s a Type R
So would still be a solid choice!
i was planning to get a type r but its 65k out the door, supra 3.0 premium is 59k out the door.
What country are you in?
Most FL5 CTR are going for $45-$49k in my area with low miles
@@BrosFOURRSpeed im in Hawaii lol. online the type r is 45k but when i went to the dealer its 65k🤦🏽 they tried to give it to me for 60k but its too much for a type r.
That's crazy for sure! Certainly not worth that price. When the FL5 came out dealers here were asking over sticker and people were buying them around $60k. On the mainland they are readily available at MSRP. I'd go Supra if you are finding them under $60k then
Makes sense if you have a Lambo in the garage as well, to have something with more practicality!
Yeah I love the Supra, but just didn't find myself driving it much once I bought the Lambo. So now it makes much more sense to have 3 very different cars
4doors for future juniors😊
Yeah this could definitely come in handy in the future ;)
Your current home is my dream home.
It’s a nice home for sure! But our goal has always been to build a custom house. Wasn’t planning to do this anytime soon. But the right lot popped up, had to make a move! New house won’t be much different. Just the bigger garage for my business use and the larger land for privacy
Honda way more useful, can't fit nothing in a 2 seater
Yeah for sure. I just wasn't using the Supra like I did in the past. So worked out well!
CTR is really 👍🏻 , but why not M340i..?..
You know the saying say once a Honda always a Honda fan
I guess we'll see ;)
Three only thing Supra on that is the badging. It's 84% German parts on the window sticker. I'll take the civic.
Yeah it's a BMW, but BMW makes awesome sportsacrs. And Toyota tuned this car. It drives night and day different compared to a Z4. I had fun with it for my time
Congratulations. Something different change it up I like it
Thanks! Yeah it's a good change with something very new to me. Never owned a car like this and the Type-R fits my needs for now well!
