How can a 3 min video with not a single word of dialog keep me captivated and get me so excited. I’m sorry for anyone who wanted to do something with me in September.
This video made me realize that this game has some of the best sound design I've ever played. The machine sounds are incredibly heavy, and there so so much background vibration warble that falls into the background so easily. Top tier.
Exactly my thoughts as well, sometimes I go to my oil processing facility just to listen to the refineries ka-chunking. My only gripe is that the Rifle sounds a bit plasticky.
One of my favourite parts of this game is the sound design of all the UI buttons. Flicking switches on/off, the big launch button for milestones, and my favourite of all, the lever to reset the power fuse. It all feels absolutely amazing, and the sound design does so much work there

@@bazeloth Yeah, I love Factorio as well. Also Dyson Sphere Program and Captain of Industry, but amongst those titles, Satisfactory is still my favourite.

1:12 The manufacturer is giving off purple gas while only producing computers. Its either a new fire effect or theres some quantum shenanigans going on
I think it might either be a visual effect of a building on a floor below or the new shards have an extra spice in them. If it's the latter, we might need to give up our slug shards to make them.
I think it's the latter. A new and different type of shard, which we saw later in the video. Since it takes some high tier tech, it must have features above regular shards, but I can't think what. It's not wireless power.
2:15 Plutonium waste on the conveyor belt. Meaning there might actually be a use for plutonium waste now. Which means there might be a new power source even stronger than plutonium fuel rods.
I think being able to manufacture energy shards now, it will become a consumable item. With that comes the need to keep a greater power source with no waste, IKEA lamp comes to the rescue
All the materials we have sent up the elevator into space....goes into building one giant Ikea warehouse orbiting the planet. THAT is what we have been kept in the dark on.

Kudos to satisfactory! I have been saving the game for release and have not been playing it the last two years, but I was still instantly able to recognise the new windows and items. This is how you do updates, feature communication and marketing!
I love how the Constructors are a full-speed animation from a distance.. last time I fired up, you could get about 15 feet from them and the animations went from smooth to low-quality immediately. I hope that's a sign that they've fixed the animation distance finally.
The animation distance is part of the engines optimization system. Reducing animation frequency on distant objects saves CPU / GPU resources. Notice hoa you have "full speed" at great distance if there are few machines on your screen - but when you have a full factory with hundreds of conveyors and machines all on screen - they start to "chop" much closer. Perhaps they have made this an adjustable thing in the gfx settings.
@@Bloody_crowyeah, making these videos they can "get right into the simulation" in a granular way if they want. Notice the deliberate depth of focus changes to draw the eye close or far. A director's technique irl, but if you think about it, not so obvious in a game. If you develop in Unreal Engine, it shouldn't be hard to do. In fact, my Nvidia card comes with a gaming overlay filter which lets me play with that a little.
@jarls5890 I don't think it will be adjustable as it's very hardware dependent. The more parallel compute your CPU+GPU allow the more full animated stuff you get.
As for me, I hope for custom animations for each product in big buildings. Dunno why but I have a feeling, that i will see different assembling for structure cube and computer at 11 sept.

2:20 literally the IKEA lamp
What do you expect from a Swedish company? xD
For real, Ikea makes that? Hilarious. I hope it's not radioactive then, I'd use it for deco
Less than 3 weeks can't wait!
I forgot it was just 3 weeks wow.
0:40 is that a triangle factory? I hope it doesn't make circles now and then...
Dorito Factory confirmed
Guess were doing circles now
Can someone explain the Joke? I dont get it.
Dealilng with randomised output/byproducts would be potentially interesting.
looked like cheese, Gonna be milking some cows! I can milk that.
2:20 oh boy, can make those IKEA death star lamp shades!
I'm so glad I'm out of college now, because if I had a semester coming up this September, I would have failed. Must build, must expand, must ficsit
I love the color on those pipes, nice copper color 😃 A lot of exiting new stuff to make.
So hyped to see what kind of things Let's Game It Out will manage to do with quantum physics !
He hasn't even touched Nuke Obelisks yet :)
Oh Josh!
Somehow this got me more excited than any of the high octane action game trailers I have seen this year.
3:13 That belt reached ludicrous speed. It went plaid.
This video shivered my timbers
Only Coffee Stain, and only Satisfactory could pull off this type of comment and context free promo video, kudos. I am impressed.
2:15 Plutonium waste on the conveyor belt. Meaning there might actually be a use for plutonium waste now. Which means there might be a new power source even stronger than plutonium fuel rods.
yea, probably for the yellow plutonium core looking thing.
@@jdewall infinite power ⁉⁉
I think being able to manufacture energy shards now, it will become a consumable item. With that comes the need to keep a greater power source with no waste, IKEA lamp comes to the rescue
Would be cool if it somehow worked into zero point reactors.
Inb4 Plutonium waste becomes a story progress item, and our slowest bottleneck.
Soldiers, Get ready.
YES SIR
🫡
Videos like this prove how well Coffee Stain knows their community.
2:01 The Biomass burners Snutt mentioned on stream.
I don't get it? Where are they?
Are those the glimpse or green lights you see while the background is out of focus?
@@fruitsalatwithfruit left side of the screen I posted a picture in the subreddit circling them.
I can't wait to start building the IKEA PS 2014
All the materials we have sent up the elevator into space....goes into building one giant Ikea warehouse orbiting the planet. THAT is what we have been kept in the dark on.
Power shard automation lets gooooo!!
Guys are we talking about the 1 frame shot of the pioneer standing in front of a freaking PORTAL !?!?!?!? Mmah dudes !!!!
We saw this black matter before
I literally sat here for thirty minutes trying to get that frame in a pause😂😂
@@tobi_is_here9106 you can use , or . to go forward/backward 1 frame, I did it in 0.25x speed, paused close, and found it in 20 seconds
@@tobi_is_here9106use , and . to go back & forward one frame at a time!
@@tobi_is_here9106, writes _"I literally sat here for thirty minutes trying to get that frame in a pause"_

Glad I bought this game twice on epic games and steam to support these guys more
That was so cool! I haven't touched this game in years but still plan to do a new run eventually, and have been enjoying the videos here now and then. Excellent work.
I cant wait to make a circle with the MK 6 belts and fling myself around.
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
That split second there... Is the engineer standing in front of a portal?
Is ist teleportation aswell? Ohboyohbyohboy!
Yeah it seemed so
MK. 6 BELT !!! LET"S FUCKING GOOOOO !!!
It definitely looks different from the existing belts. Perhaps it is mk6
@@drewhahn5710 Mk5 isnt that fast
I haven’t been this excited for a full release in a while, and the type of games I typically play I would have never thought something like Satisfactory would be the game that gets me this hyped.
Kudos to satisfactory! I have been saving the game for release and have not been playing it the last two years, but I was still instantly able to recognise the new windows and items. This is how you do updates, feature communication and marketing!
Imagine the speed and precision the pioneer has, that she is able to grab a single ore from such a fast conveyor belt without getting mangled
And Coffee Stain for coding that precision, right into her tendons and neurons. Amazing! *takes hit*
Most likely just turned off for video making purposes.
Can I just say that whoever made this factory did an amazing job? Wooooow!
Yeah - that's pretty much a given... the person who made this has probably lived & breathed Satisfactory for 5+ years.
@2:50, portals?? 🤑 That alone is carrying my hype for release!
We got Nether portal fluid in Satisfactory pipes before GTA 6
The audio design is amazing! Sounded soo good
I have never been more excited for a game in my life.
Quantum Belts I presume. Great direction for the audio here with machine and other noises.
cant wait for letsgameitout to see those mk6 belts
2:17 All that.. for an IKEA light
The fact that I even know where is the last miner setup only shows I was too addicted :D nice waterfalls
"Now, what we got here is a little game of show and tell. You don't wanna show me nothin', but you're tellin me everything. I know you know where they are, so tell me before I do some damage you won't walk away from."
2:18 OMG thats the lamp i bought at ikea just yesterday! :P
Your lamp has an annoying clicking sound?
@@hans_____ i dont know, with all the hissing and quishing in the background ...
Oh we doing triangles now
Is no one talking about this beautiful factory layout? Nice work!
The BEST bit about the release is that it means a new Kibz playthrough!
Was that a yellow ikea-lamp coming out of the machine?!
@2:54
I literally said to myself, "That looks like that one IKEA lamp" and I'm SO glad it wasn't just me
Obviously they need ikea lamps for the food court. No one wants to eat in the dark XD
@@levin6816 they’d better have those Swedish meatballs!!!!
@@aidanfraley9834 yeah, it should be illegal to go to ikea and not eat those meatballs afterwards
I really hope 1.0 has steam achievements. Going for 100% would be great with them
I recall they were talking about them "when the game is done", but
.. honesly i guess the hardest achievement they may go for is unlocking all alt recipies?..
Love the sounds, very good work for the sound choice of the machines ETC !!!
Waited 3.5 years for new parts and it’s as glorious as I expected.
