Chain Saw HACK 8 - 3HP Brushcutter
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 тра 2019
- Yes, I know ...It's better to go to Home Depot and buy a new... I decided to make it on my own :)
My old brushcutter is very week and I can't use it in proper way. A new brushcutter Makita 3HP is very expensive. It costs above $500 so I thought I try to convert my chainsaw to brushcutter.
I spent about $70 for parts to make it. A bill doesn't seems bad.
A device works surprisingly well. It has a lot of power and it's comfortable to use. It's also easy to put it together.
I am very happy with the new device.

I can understand and I can feel too how much you are happy with your hands Bro. You are master. Blessings.
A true MANs' video. Slick concise with brilliant imagery. Tells its own story. You wannit you need it you make it. Craftsmanship, a dying art. Best make-it video . Thanks Poland.
I've been at the same frustration level. To see some one else their too and fix the problem their own way is awesome.great job
Your ingenuity and fabrication skills are most admirable! Great job!

Excellent engineering skills. This country needs people like yourself. Respect

The skill and patience for a job like this is God level.
Very nice. Love how at the end we get a see an actual demo of the product unlike most videos.
d
DUDE! The way you put that throttle and kill-switch together, is REALLY slick!
Wow a lot of haters. I don’t think it is about being practical guys. Being able to redesign something like that is an art form . Keep it up!
Hell no kidding.we dont see those guys putting up videos
It is a waste of time and money. Creating an effective and inexpensive tool is an achievement. Modifying a costly tool to create a tool that already exists is just a waste of time and money. simply buy the knives that adapt to your weed eater and that's it. the weed eater has more rpm than chain saw.
reason i love tools. anything can be built with the correct tools
Excellent!! Great job using your brain. I'm really impressed. Thank you.
I wish I had a tenth of your creativity and skill.
Bravo!
Funny how they make everything look so easy
that's because it is if your willing to learn how to use it
This was downright brilliant to say the least. Good job with the ingenuity!
I thought was terrible idea but you have great fab skills and looks like you could run twice the blade size you have. Bravo! 👏🏼
Exactly, this will ruin the small 3/4" crankshaft bearing.
Ой дурак🙈
All I can say is WOW. I enjoyed looking at you make this tool. It's pretty amazing. He is definitely skilled in his trade. I hope you post more. Wow...

DAMN BROTHER, YOU ROCKED THAT IDEA. Been wondering about this type of build for myself, as the stock lengthens for weed eaters are way too short for anyone over 5foot 4inches tall, killer on my back so need shaft and gear head on longer drive shaft. Thanks for the IDEAS on how to fix my issue. Keep it, great job. Thanks for sharing.
You are a genius.. one of the best modifications iv ever seen .. great job!!!!!!
Простенькая переделка. К ней мастерскую надо только прикупить.
Saw that blade and thought damn man, but then you upgraded into a harness and 2 point handlebar! Haha beautiful man!
I like working in my shop....BUT you my friend ROCK....LOVE IT!!!!!
Just found this channel and I think its my favorite! Dude I’m lovin’ it.
Good as brand-new sir. I like it.
Perfect, very good idea and good job👏
Loving the trick with the holesaw to form the metal for the clutch guard.
Next level is use holesaw itself.
Man, your Dad must be beaming with pride! Great job!

Now: all the ways you used to make this changing and so on are very pro either, and shows lot of know how, and a very good top quality of craftmanship!! I am amazed!! You come from an incredably good people, mostly hard workers and ingenious! And I take my hat off to salute you and others like you!!! PLEASE keep us posted with other things, as I'm sure I'm not the only one interested. Meanwhile I wish you just the very best!! Greetings from Portugal!!!

Great job and excellent result.
Although it took too long to recreate weedcutter. I respect his machinist skills, that's it.
🇺🇸Greetings 2u. When i saw that u responded, i was delighted & had 2 watch again. U r so talented, creative & inspirational. U show how 2 take something that doesn't work 4 u 2 get the job done. Then u improve with turbo or nas. That was so impressive, i just had 2 watch again. U need 2 keep making these types of videos. It shows how some can make a simple job work better 4 them with a little adjustment 😁😅😂🤣LOL. Thank u 4 not getting hurt/injured n this process. Man u ROCK. I'm so happy 2 have found this channel. Always b safe, healthy &blessed
18M views of course he had to keep making these types of videos!

Man, with all that machinery, physics, quantum math, engineering and high level of skills involved you could’ve built a time machine in half the time.
That was one of the most satisfying videos ever!
True that

Hell yeah that’ll get the job done man.
Nice Job Sir God Gave You Those Special Hands For A Good Reason God Bless You Much Love and Respect
Why so many DAMN negative comments? The guy is a genius! Making experiments and trying out new things!
Maybe because they are jealous of other people skills or they think that using expensive makita chainsaws to make a grass cutting machine is a overkill with their financial situation. Just guessing.
I admire and RESPECT the vision, ingenuity and talent (good hands!) it took to plan and complete this project.
However.
I work at an outdoor power equipment dealership and service center.
There are off-the-shelf machines\heavy string trimmers, not prohibitively expensive, that will clear this kind of foliage faster, and with less weight.
They cut a broader path, move the cut material out of the way better and are less dangerous if a stump or solid obstacle is encountered in the thick greenery.
Just pointing that out.
In his shoes (the builder) I might have wanted to try the very same thing.
Some of the first commercially available string trimmers were part of a kit that converted to-and-from a chainsaw power unit.
As I recall, the inventor of the string trimmer USED a chain saw power unit.
More power to you, Made in Poland.
Halooo
Jer ne umiju podržat, to su ljudi tipa SAIM SE i njima slični nažalost
Be cause why not put the blade of the brush cutter on the weed eater and then at least you have a chainsaw
That bending machine is amazing, dude. Most excellent job!
Wow amazing transformation
I'm not an engineer, I could understand what did you do. Very nice.
I like how you do all with no drawings. also you are very precise in details.
Well this quickly became one of my favorite channels to watch! Amazing work!

😮 rapaz ficou muito bom essa ideia 👏👏👏👏parabéns
Dude you got some serious Building skills 👍👍
It appears that thing could do more with a modified mower blade. Very nice work!!!
Supper idea ,very good job,and explanation ,
Nice to have a metal shop!
You're the man, I love it bro!
So clever! I love that wide handle bar for better control. Perfect with safety mods.
Пока её делаешь,,нужно уже будет лопату доставать для уборки снега😁
What I like about is that you can stil convert it back to be a chainsaw again. That is smart engenering!

Great thinking man definitely would love to build something like this for my yard.
Dobry Boże, podziwiam, tyle roboty i chęci. Mnie to by się już na etapie projektowania odechciało. Fakt, że czasu nie mam za dużo, a jednak jakimś cudem bym się zmobilizował. To wyszła by z tego jedna wielka niedziałająca prowizorka.
Excelente trabajo, Ingeniero.👏
Once again, it is proven that necessity is the mother of invention ! 😉👍
Всё тоже самое .....
Не стоит и мучиться, пила тяжелее триммера, таскать и махать ею замучаешься !
Кстати да
This worked great!!! Thank you!!! 👍🏾
Good work man 👍
This man has a good brain. This is quite a lot to put together.
Snapper makes one of these with the brush cutter blade works great a lot lighter. But this does show your mechanical and building talents . Good video.
Stihl makes a brush cutter unit that's more hp but need diy home build use what you got

What a nice idea.... good job sir....
Just goes to show having the tools is a great help. However its the skills and craftsmanship that really finishes a great job. You’re a clever man. Well done.

This 11:17 would be very satisfying to cut with a scythe.
Great video!
Damn that's a lot of work to go through I just brought a new Head for my weed eater and it has blades on it works great!!
Muy buen trabajo sos un genio. Saludos desde formosa Argentina. 👌👍
Using the pillar drill and the grinder like a homemade lathe genius, mans got skills, keep up the good work,
That's what I said too, using a drill press and grinder ad a quick lathe fking brilliant

I love your design and work approach. I have similar philosophy. You are my mechanical soul brother.
Awesomely wicked!!!
I could watch these vids all day man, But lordy lordy i have so much other shhhhhstuff to do! lol
Great idea! You made it look so easy but only wish I had the skills and expensive tools like you. Great job!
Lindo ❤
Very nice, well thought out fabrication. There is a lot of equipment on the market that would do the same job but nothing comes close to fabricating your own. I have a brush hog to do my big jobs but I built a "push" hog from a Lawnboy mower to do smaller jobs.
Great work.
Post them on your page
Well done a creative work
Ооо там, все токарные станки.... Там и самому можно делать и придумать свою Иновацию, мужик молодец 👍
Excelente invenção.
Perfeito! Amazônia Brazil
Love how you just made it happen! That's great stuff!
.
Wow These are wonderful
Best hack that I've seen yet
This guy is a moron, you can just buy a brush cutter head for the weed wacker.
Awesome idea brother! Here’s one this made me think of. How about a portable raft outboard engine?! Throw a propeller on it, drop it in the water and go! Anyway great job!
Ct
In other countries, I’ve seen in Laos and Thailand, they use a weed eater/ weed wacker with a propeller attachment on the end (where the cutter head would go) and propel canoes with it. 25-40cc little motors running 5-6 people canoes no problem. It can be easily raised in and out of shallow water , and then carry it home when done!
Great job, incredible skills.
Good work You are talented
Really amazing l got real pleasure. Thanks so much indeed. Greetings from Kingdom of Morocco
Incrível ficou ótimo , parabéns pela sua criatividade, bem prático e funcional .
Good build...seriously good outside the box thinking......I'm just going to hook up my brush hog & go at it though.
That’s awesome 👍🏽 liked and subscribed
I'll just have a look in my tool box, see if i have all the bits i need to do this hack!
jak zwykle łapka w góre , widze szafki ci przybyły :)
Of course you are not the best gardener, but you are an excellent master constructor!
You have skills man! Very nice shop! But for me I would just have to buy the end result or look at the weeds lol have to admit that this is badass and MANMADE!
Cool tool! I always put a ball of silicone on cable ends to keep wires from making me make up new curse words!😱
Wow...that's pretty cool how you can transform that equipment to something 10 times better good job like the video
Blz
Freaking awesome!!! No more having to stop and adjust or replace the wacker
