pro tip: dont use a ziptie to fix the crack in the tank, just melt the plastic around the tank itself with the soldering iron. fuel tanks are usualy made of HDPE or polypropylene and zipties are made of nylon, these plastics dont fuse together well and you will end up with new cracks or even having the nylon straight up peel off the tank
Very nice! A gas powered restoration! That was fun! I've always kind of wanted to do that.... but I am always waaaay too interested in just getting it running, and then using it....
grouse work mate i love the restoration work from start to finish and yep that,s a qaulity tool for sure and yep almost as good as the Echo tools for sure and cheers from Australia 🐨🐑🦘🌴🌏🇦🇺 or the land down under and i do believe Makita tools are just as good too from memory and yes some of the locals also use these for sure.
Japonês é ninja no que faz, olha essa regulagem, ele deu uma pegada só que pegou na hora, já uma reforma dessa completa vale quase o preço de uma nova.
My heart sunk. You have done all that work but you have used same old parts. You have changed gaskets on carb but not cleaned it, should have atleast run it through the ultrasonic cleaner and the ports.
Svaka čast majstore na demonstracii Trimera
YOU are very Professiofenal, Thanks for teaching.

Plus this white zip tie is less durable against the sun (or UV) than the black type.
I don’t even understand why he didn’t bought a new one in the first place, it’s not that expensive, and you can find a new fuel tank easily 😂😂😬
better yet don't do hot work on a gas tank!
no cheap plastic tank is worth being blown up over
@@callmeomar7821 that is why he put water in the tank didn't you see when he emptied it after

Почему до людей не доходит, что если просто помыть поршень - это не ремонт двигателя!
Everything about that trimmer is built like my Echo equipment.

Need to paint some parts
kak znaysh zakalnoy temperatura.
Why do you pull these engines completely apart when they don’t necessarily need it !
There are a few reasons, first is curiosity, second is cleaning, third is replacing some parts.

surprised he didnt take the engine off an stick a electric motor on it with a cinderblock sized battery hanging off the side
You dont need a battery that big. Gas motors are < 30 % efficient, electrics are > 85 %
But yes, wish it was a conversion
No doubt
