Yes sir. It really came out looking ALOT better. Nicely done Francois
Thank you for the kind words and also for leaving a comment
I didn't even know Tamiya had paint remover for Lexan. very cool.
This stuff is so awesome I'm so happy I picked it up
Looks great! it's funny I have the blizzard that was out before your version and mine had clear windows and no interior! Go figure?
Yes right that's pretty strange that they put an interior on this one and paint the windows. And on the older version that don't put a interior and don't paint windows... thanks for stopping by
WOW! Thank you for sharing this. I have an RC truck with factory paint and I have been trying to figure out the best way to remove the paint without damaging the shell. This defenitly looks like the way to go.I will defenitly be using this processe! Thanks again for the great video.
How did it work out? seems i cant get true the clearcoat.
@@crazydutchbloke Mine didnt have a clear coat. came right off.
Wow,big difference, looks great
Very nice demonstration Tank. Never used that Tamiya Paint Remover but it looks like it works very well. I wonder if you could use masking tape to tape off any areas you don't want the thinner to hit?
Thank you for the comment, it would be a good test to do using the masking tape
Masking does indeed work reasonably well, vinyl tape rather than paper based masking is best since it allows cleaner rounded corners and will not absorb any paint remover itself.
I simply use electrical tape that have been cut to 1/8" to 1/4" wide.
Also, automotive paint polishing compound can remove most of that haze left behind on the lexan very well.
Came out looking great, I'm pondering striping paint out in my F450
looks good now job looks good thanks keep up the good vid on the channel
Thank you for taking time to watch my video I appreciate the support.
Very good video.
This is a product I need to buy.

Twenty bucks Canadian for what it does I don't think that's expensive because this stuff is awesome. Thanks for the kind words
@@TheTankRC oh I agree. Worth every penny.
Turned out really clear, so the Tamiya product works on the factory paint.
