- I love a monochromatic look from head to toe. It's always sophisticated and never feels like you're trying too hard. Pulling in accessories using the same variations on that shade or color is shockingly sophisticated. These 30 year old boots started the process and brought me sunshine through the thick fog of gray.

The fact that I saw this video after choosing to wear on a rainy day in the Netherlands a flowy over-the-knee dress with black skinny jeans, chunky sneakers and a cropped jean jacket makes me feel even MORE CONFIDENT about my fashion choices!!!!

I loved all the pieces!!! You created an amazing outfit to dress up a mannequin for a window display at Begdorf in NYC! My only concern is the dress for a small weist like I have. Maybe I would pic something as a belt. What do you think? Or a dress more tight in my waist?

I am loving your channel. I grew up in NYC and learned to love fashion as a child of a mother who was always fashionable. Playing in her closet was my favorite pass time. Unfortunately I now live now in a small town and although most of my friends enjoy my sense of style I feel most people think I just like to show off or stand out. I can’t help it. Fashion has been my love since I can remember as a little girl playing in my mothers closet. How do I stay true to myself and my love for clothes, makeup and fragrance? I once had an acquaintance say she felt like my cleaning lady when she was with me. I was so heartbroken and embarrassed. Another always comments how I’m always so fashionable but I sense tone that’s not really kind. These friends are all financially secure, so money and purchasing beautiful things isn’t the issue. Do I continue to be how I am or should I start wearing leggings, t-shirts and sneakers every time I meet them?
I told my own sister she looked like my housmaid so we could both laugh over it. It's not our fault though...
I hope you continue. I also moved to a small town.....there isn't any access to beautiful things ...hours away.....Other people move into town looking lovely; giving me lots of ideas but no access unless it's on Amazon.

Don't change who you are, people can't stand difference, that's the issue, for me with equality, they are just projecting their insecurities, you do you, I used to wear hats and always look in a way that made me happy regardless of what people thought, I actually loved it when people will make faces about my outfits. Don't allow people to take your essence.

Carla is your son doing the videotaping because the entire thing is blurry and it may be because you're moving a lot and whoever is photographing you needs to adjust for movement. DOES anybody else have this problem? BECAUSE the looks are so fantastic and every time Carla says CAN YOU SEE THIS? I can't😟 And then I give up and switch to another one that I can't see. THE only one I could ACTUALLY see was done in her closet and she did it with a blonde woman who was 48 years old and they had a great chit chat back and forth for about 45 minutes. THAT ONE I could see.
