Back when I was a kid we didn’t have air conditioning so at night my dad would put a fan in the window of the dining room facing out and then crack the windows in the bedrooms. The fan would suck the cooler air from the bedroom windows, through the house and out the dining room window. He would seal any openings around the fan so air wouldn’t be sucked in from openings around the fan so the only air displacement from the exiting air was through the bedroom windows. The easiest place in your situation to pull air from was the opening of the garage door because there was no place to pull from inside the building. You need air being pulled across the shop and through the fan.
Hmmm... maybe open the side door then?
I do paint and body work in my shop and when I get ready to paint I get my 48 inch fan out and raise the roll up door and put the fan about in the middle of the opening and pull the door down untill it touches the top of the fan then I use cardboard on each side of the fan to close up the rest of the open space this gives the shop a negative pressure then I just use my leaf blower to blow the dust out the idea is to have no opening in the shop except for the fan the fan I have wanted to try and suck the walls in lol give that a try
good idea! thanks :)
@@GearheadDaily your welcome and another thing is wood shaving is heavier than saw dust so I would try to sweep up the big stuff and let the fan take care of the dust hope it works out for you
