In the original with just guitars, it sounds bleak and hopeless, but add the *Kick, Snare, Kick Kick Snare* Beat and it actually sounds like there's some hope in there, like a fight in the end of a movie and this plays when the protagonist starts to become stronger when they're at their lowest in battle.

It's rare to see some get multiple slots on a soundtrack and yet he did and was on so many other great movie OST no less.
