I saw NIN in the early / mid (?) '80's @ #'s /Numbers nightclub 300 Westheimer Houston, Tx 77006. I was just in another place mentally / emotionally.. Then during an intermission , I go to the restroom . I'm washing my hands and who is standing at the next sink.. ? Michael Trent Reznor ! I realized, right then & there , I had a HUGE man crush on Mr. Reznor. I was , in my head having a fanout. Wish we had cell phones with cameras back then. I would've taken a boat load of pics. Yes , even in the restroom. Trent was so nice and down to Earth. I always wondered, still do, why was the founder / lead of one of the worlds outstanding music acts using the public restroom? And I can confirm Trent has really deep , dark eyes. He's a VERY talented and attractive person. I like his energy..
Know this song from the 2000s and then it was so awesome when i heard it again on the Terminator Salvation Trailer and now i found this Version and i cant stop listen, i just cant stop... love it so damn much ... thanks Mr.Birchum❤
The Terminator Salvation trailer was the catalyst that launched me into Nine Inch Nails. I can't tell you the movie that I went to see that day but I sure as shit remember going home and looking up the trailer music. The Fragile and With Teeth just happened to be on a used Zune that I had just bought. This was right before the days of music being easily accessible on UA-cam, so I happily bought the rest of the albums. Was very cool to find out that NIN had done Head like a Hole and Closer too, which I had heard many times on the radio. But yeah this remix is right up there with the official ones and actually better than some.

me too, i wasn't as into downward spiral as i was still pretty young when it came out, but Fragile was life changing, and the riff on this for song 2 was amazing,

The song may have meaning to many different people who interpret it differently, meaning the song subjectively does say something to thousands and thousands of people and then there are people like you that derive no meaning from it. I disagree. A rough, plaintive voice adds to the atmosphere. Vocals are too often overproduced nowadays.
