Camtasia cannot reverse video clips. This is a very requested feature in Camtasia, maybe they will add it soon. If you need to reverse clips, you have to use an external program. I covered this on my channel. You can do it free with Shotcut: ua-cam.com/video/okxGQcQvFFQ/v-deo.html

Correct, that might work, but it's tedious to animate and keep in sync with voice.

Yeah there are various animations and effects but I like the control and flexibility of creating my own when I want to.

Camtasia 2021 doesn't have the reverse video function. You can do it in 2022, but not 2021. You have to use an external tool for reversing video.
