Pulled over this morning just to comment. Keep up the talk/banter in the beginning for as long as it goes, I don’t get the comments to get rid of it and I am tired of those getting the airtime, so here is a BIG COMMENT to keep it in place, it’s authentic and appreciated bc it brings this Podcast down to a conversation connection with you with listeners and not just a mouthpiece. The only downside I can see, is when people like me see you in person there will be a little awkwardness in the beginning bc I feel like I have been sitting at the table with you guys for so many of these conversations.

Love these guys. Nothing like 4 hunters who're artificially allowed to have a disproportionate number of hunting opportunities, selling as much as they can to make as much money as they can, regardless of the downstream repercussions. Don't read into the fact that hunting is more and more getting out of hand of the average person, the overall experience of the average person is getting worse, thanks to overcrowding and those with resources pushing out the average person, but hey, as long as these few select individuals can have a good party while the future of hunting goes down the toilet. Keep up the great work guys, what outstanding saviors we have

I love what you guys are doing and I learn a lot about hunting out west as I am just getting into elk hunting. I am from Wisconsin and have hunted whitetail my whole life and is a totally different style of hunting. I follow Randy in all things that he is involved in, and I also follow the G0 Hunt crew as well. Keep up the good work fellas!

Great episode, makes a person set up and look inside at what is important. I will strive to put forth more effort in the future in regards to conservation and education as it relates to wildlife and hunting. On a different subject, I watched an episode yesterday in which Trail and Lorenzo talked about getting into whitetails. There is a man in north Idaho named Troy Pottinger, and he would be an interesting podcast guest because of how he hunts mountain whitetails. He was on "The Western Huntsman" podcast a couple years ago, what a different way to hunt. Thank, and keep up the good work.

I get that we all need other states support to stop progression of losing privilege and areas however just like here in colorado none of the out of state people are able to vote … so unfortunately we keep losing to the metro areas due to their numbers.

I don’t think anyone on the podcast will read this, but there are so many topics you guys touch on here that I feel I have to touch on a least 1. . I want to start by saying I always notice in all these discussions of tags, drawings, access and so no, that the state of California is completely left out? Why is that? By the figures I can find California sells about 250,000 resident hunting licenses and 1.2 million resident fishing licenses a year.
As to the topic of “ banning hunting of ( fill in the blank species)”, and how this is happening in many states. I don’t see anyone talking about how the migration of people from California to all these other western states has influenced or actually started these movements. As a hunter in California it has always seemed this state is overlooked by the overwhelming majority of the hunting/outdoor community, and for the past 40 to 50 years thought of as a “lost cause”. No one has stood up and advocated for wildlife and hunters here but the hunters here. You guys talked about us all being hunters, and helping each other by advocating for our rights (and yes I am one of those that truly believe hunting is a right to be practiced responsibly just like the 2A and 1A rights) but for decades all the legislative restriction ( not science based) placed on hunting and trapping in California have been meet outside the state with the attitude of ( That’s California) ,anyone that thinks different isn’t being honest. There is a disease here we like to call “Californian” and it’s carried by Californians that think the outdoors is for nature hiking, and are offended that someone would be out there endangering them by hunting or trapping. These people have had the ability for decades to make huge profits on their homes, and more recently to work remotely so they move to the less crowed states with beautiful mountains and prairies and settle in and spread their disease.
I completely agree we need to support each other. Its better that we start late than never, and hopefully we all learn that if something happens in one place, and goes unchecked, it is bound to popup elsewhere.

I have zero sympathy for the woe is me i DiDnT gEt My IdAhO eLk TaG. Cry me a river. There is so much opportunity in this country for hunting that if you put just a little bit of effort in you can fill your season with more tags than you could possibly hunt if you’re working a full time job
