All the talk about elk vs mule deer. I think we should take this moment to recognize that the whitetail is the superior species. More athletic, quicker, all the things. Ha! As always enjoyed the podcast!

Love my Phase 4. It is quieter and has less vibration than the Lift and I did not send two arrows over my Elk's back.

My first bow was a V3X 29. I shot it a lot the past year and a half and love the bow. It also helped me harvest a bunch of meat last year. However with a 28" draw length and after installing a slider sight, I always felt like I was chasing my peep and my anchor was never consistent even with a nose button. I always wanted to jump up to the 33 and looked around for a used V3X 33 especially when the Phase 4 came out but never made the decision to get a 33 at that time. After hearing about the release of the LIFT, I headed to my local dealer and shot both the 29.5 and 33 and the 33 just felt so much better. Anchoring in, my head never moved and never felt like I needed to chase my anchor point. The draw cycle was much smoother than my V3X. And with the 70# mod, it felt like I was pulling 60#. I had to put in an order and now I'm just waiting for it come in. Super excited and I enjoyed the first half of the podcast on my drive home from work. Mahalos!

“Need a Lift?” Nope. Not at all. That said, I’m damn sure buying one.
I’ve got a Halon 32-7 and two Traverse, Traverses? I don’t know. Either way, the lift is the first Mathews that I’ve felt has actually been an upgrade over the others I have. VXR, V3, V3X, Phase 4, none of them were that special. Speed is only going to be about 4-5fps but the new riser design is a huge win.

The Shotsense tech has been out for a few years on the target archery side. A company called Mantis developed it. They also have rifle applications.

An yanking on back wall changes point of impact difference. Keep it consistently the same on back wall

The match bow strings are one of the best things Mathew’s did this year, but since they did so much to the lift it gets over look and under appreciated, it’s always been the first thing I changed, it’s going to save a couple hundred bucks on strings this year

The Hamskea Archery WayPoint Arrow Level is legit. I got one and checked my Phase 4 and V3X for center shot. I originally set them up with a caliper and thought they were the same. They were close but not quite exact. Great tool to get you at a good tuning starting point.

The weight savings is the biggest deal to me as it’s now on par with some of the older sub 4lb speed bows I have but now quieter. Tough choice between this and the rx-8 for me because that has the 1/4” dl increments which is a plus to me. Obviously carbon is awesome but idk if it’s worth $600 more or whatever it is.

Hi there, it's not been released yet but I'm being told it will be shortly. Perhaps in the next few weeks. I'd assume that your local Mathews Pro Shop will. have them. They are pretty neat to play with and I think if someone were to use it to it's potential it will definitely better bowhunters.
