It's always a bad idea to buy a phone mid release. Might as well wait for the next phone or just trade it in.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro is my fav Xiaomi flagship this year. But they better fix the selfie cam, it should have autofocus or PDAF and can record atmost 4k@30/60 fps.
at this point we need a 4k selfie...its a dang premium phone...or go back to the rear back screen like 11 ultra

At your suggested specs, Pro and non-Pro are hella close at the camera departmant. Realistically they will be a bigger difference.
Why they move away from the 1 inch sensor? It is the best sensor of the world till now

MiUI developer company is a Hardware seller.. don't expect them to offer the best in term of software optimization.. if you really want software optimization, buy IOS or OneUI phone..

So true, something about their software experience feels unpolished, especially that Apple-like control center, eww. Even Oppo/Realme's UI feels much more refined. Moving from Xiaomi to Samsung really highlighted MIUI's weakness to me.
