I just wish they would give the Santa Fe Calligraphy a digital rearview mirror & USB-C ports along with the USB-A ports it already has. I also wish it has wireless CarPlay & Android Auto but that you can easily retrofit with a USB adapter & then use a 20 W USB-C fast charger for an iPhone through the 12V outlet
@@CarCoachReports . Other Reviewers pointed out the DCT is disengaged like a Manual Tranny when in Stop. They pointed out that the Auto On /Off was Extreme! Clunky and awkward. Perhaps Tully3674 knows that a Software Patch was issued to correct that ?
I purchased 2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy and it came with no spare tire, it came with a flat tire kit instead. I would feel more comfortable having a spare, is it possible to get one for Calligraphy? There is a place underneath the car for a spare tire, but there is no lifting mechanism in it. Any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance!
This is holding me back from ordering the Santa Fe Hybrid. Did you figure out how to add an aftermarket spare tire? I have read that it is possible to add one.
My wife and I just got a Santa Fe Calligraphy last month. We were told from our dealership, that a full size spare tire (20 inch) won't fit under the vehicle. Esp. with the AWD system.
Thanks for the review on the Santa Fe. Are Hyundai/Kia still having issues with car theft, or have they resolved the issue with the immobilizer? I have been looking at both this and the Telluride, but the issues they've had with the car thefts have me concerned.
I have a 45k original 2007 Santa Fe SE with 17s that sits in the climate controlled garage. It's immaculate. Not even a scratch. I start it and put gas in it now and then. But the Ex had to turn it over to me to finalize our Deevorce. I can't really fit into it unless my head is peering out the back window. People wonder what's driving it😂
I am looking to get the 2024 Santa Fe with the crazy new boxy design, its going to be bigger and more masculine looking, I cant wait for that to be released in January.
You tested the Lexus in warm, sunny weather, but now the Hyundai in cold snowy weather! Biased , handicapped testing? 😉 Is this a fake news review?....🤔🤯🙄🤣🤣🤣 p.s. i had one recently as a dealer loaner, and the 2.5L Turbo hauls it around like greased lightning.. 💥🔥🤗
Well, somebody's got to like it. Definitely looks better than a Toyota or Lexus with their Darth Vapor helmet Maws😂. A whole lot better. The big Kia CUV looks a lot better.
Hyundai makes some attractive vehicles but their drivetrains don't last past 100,000 miles. Their 10 year/ 100,000 mile warranty is useless if they don't stand behind it.
@@CarCoachReports beauty is in the eye of the the beholder. And in the eyes of this beholder, this thing is hideous looking. At least I don't have to look at if then I'm driving it. Rather fold my extremely long frame into a new Golf R while they're still powered by petrol. Prefer a stick, too tall to shift, heel and toe, unless in my old Super Duty or Silverado HD(very old with granny gears).
The center 10.25” display isn’t small by any means. In fact it’s the perfect size because it doesn’t look oversized or overbearing on the dashboard
Great review and sharp looking vehicle!!!
That's a great value.
The warranty is a huge value too
Head up or heads up, how many heads do you have? It's Head Up display.
This is excellent value and a great video!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Renderings of the 2024 Santa Fe indicate it is a stunning redesign.
But I’ve read the 2024 will be bigger and more square body. If so, I much prefer the 2023.
The pictures I seen it looks boxy and horrendous
I think that might be the vehicle I get. I wish it was ready now, I love the 2024 design and bigger body frame.
The Coquina Beige Nappa leather interior reminds me of the Palomino interior that Lexus offers since they’re similar in shade
👍🙂

I agree. The mirror camera would be great and wireless android auto same. I love mine, same model calligraphy AWD.
Is this the dual clutch transmission? If so, did they fix the jerkiness (I was told for 2023 it was a software patch).
Did not experience any transmission jerkiness

Nice review.
What size tires
Great review Lauren! Who I be correct I saying that the Santa Fe could handle a snowy Forest Service road in the National Parks??
With winter tires - yes
At 1:58 you refer to the long LED brake light. Are you sure it lights up? My understanding is that it is only a reflector.

21st thumbs up! Awesome review on a hideous looking car. But I want one. 😊
hideous is in the dictionary under honda....🤮🤣
How is it hideous if you want one? 😂
Great review but it looks like you showed a 19" Limited Wheel while discussing the 20"
I have a 2023 and love it

Those thefts are happening with the models without push button start that requires the proximity key to turn on

a guy who got scalped in court? 🤔💰🤑🤮
@@jrs9264 nope. Cheaters are still frowned upon in divorce court. So I won everything. Even the old Santa Fe.

What is the name of color?
The exterior color is called Hampton Gray & the interior is Coquina Beige Nappa leather which is a beautiful color combination
Price ?
MSRP range: $28,450 - $44,000
Calligraphy test car $45k

👍😊
2 things.
1) the Santa Fe also has a 19 inch wheel. Not just 18 or 20.
2) that’s not a light bar in the back. It’s just a reflector. 🙄
I guess that the looks do tend to grow on you. But Hyundai has been having GM like quality issues. So I will keep the old Santa Fe SE.

What are you talking about??? I have a 2009 Sante Fe with over 135k miles on it and no issues at all. Regular maintenance and drives just fine.
I'm not sure what you're saying?
These cars don't last over 100k
Most manufacturers have 3 yr 36k
Not enough cargo space
New model 2024 is very ugly . Hyundai fail with brand new Santa Fe 2024
That thing is totally ugly. And quick with 2.5T.
I don’t think it’s ugly.
ugly is in the thesaurus under honda....wait 3 years, and you will see honda and chevy clones hit the market....🧐💯💥🙄

not ugly , very sharp .. I love the looks of it.
Looks like yet another big ugly SUV
