I hate that most handhelds have controls on the sides. It just seems so anti-ergonomic and a missed opportunity to take the strain off the user's neck. Gameboy and PSP Go were so much better in terms of the formfactor. I almost wish Switch had never gotten as popular as it did.
I had that happen many times and definitely learned to check before I leave- usually charge the night before. Gotta plan things out ahead of time. Considering you have so many though, I can see why you would get confused at times as to which charger it is.
Those updates though...I know what you mean. It's even annoying when you want to use a laptop...moves slow and then you have to wait after 3 restarts because of all the updates. It sucks you lose games though on the handhelds
