Exactly my girl was texting a guy co-worker and never toll me. She was acting weird for 3 months that make me think she was up to something found out she was texting a guy friend super late at night. I called the guy and he most likely lie to my face. and mentioned nothing was going on. She broke up with me saying I did not trusted her. I know she was up to something and she did once she left me. I hope i never get to see her again.
Both partners have to be transparent and open communication. I was extremely open and honest with my partner and she accused me of cheating still. I even have her full access to my phone at any time and she still accused me. Tore my heart apart. Finally dumped her when she gave me an ultimatum

@@sagerealestate101Sorry for writing such a long story. The reason why I am sharing all this is to tell you that if you are in a controlling relationship, please come out of it right now. I'm a 27 years old man. My mind is in so much pain. 2 months ago, in an extremely distressing and painful emotional situation, I hit my head against the headboard of my bed. Actually, that same day in the afternoon, I was with my girlfriend that I love so much. She always shared her talks with her other male coworkers and I was absolutely okay with that. I never showed any insecurity. Now almost 2 months ago, I was sitting with her in a resturant, and showed her the profile picture of my PhD female class fellow from whatsapp. And guess what? In a very disrespectful manner, she left the resturant immediately. That phd classmate of mine is married and has a daughter too. From afternoon till midnight, I kept on explaining to my girlfriend through whatsapp that my classmate is already married and I only talk to her in a very formal way. In the resturant, she had herself checked my messages and discovered nothing flirty or informal. I even sent my girlfriend the voice messages of that girl that the conversation was purely academic, related to phD classes. She did not listen at all and said extremely hurtful things. I don't know what happened to me that night, my girlfriend I loved so much not listening to me at all and showing apathy drove me insane and I smashed my head against the headboard of my bed in my room. Now I have a minor cut on my forehead. People can't really notice it but I so much wish it fades away over time. It has impacted my self esteem quite negatively. All the time, I am conscious of myself. Every morning I wake up and get scared by seeing myself in the mirror as it reminds me my disturbing situation. I repeatedly keep on asking myself questions like how could I do that to myself. But believe me, that moment was emotionally intensely suffocating and stressful for me. I wanted to scream alot to ease my pain that night but did not wish to disturb my parents.
She used to tell me that men praise her beauty and I always showed no insecurity and laughed and told her that yes she deserves this appraisal. Don't know how could she show such mistrust while my conversation with my phd classmate was purely academic related to research work. Another important thing to mention here is that I have never ever checked the phone of my girlfriend till this very day. I always valued trust above everything.

Literally, how we can trust others when we hear stories full of negativity, that life is hard and mean, that we should look for a proof all the time. When someone has the problem and they speak to friends, the first reaction of the most of the people:Just dump him.
I have came to the point, that I would rather be the stupid and naive one, than to spoil something potentionally beautiful. Thats not the way to live.
Why can't the guy reveal her about his friend at work.. Why he still has to keep texting that friend when he is about to have a good time with his partner...When the partner gets ignored by the other one, then such insecurity and doubts will start.. That has to be addressed first
Jilin Joseph I totally agree. If they ask you something you should answer, not askin them back your question and not answering theirs. If I want my boy to be secure I will tell him everything that he wants to know. No place for insecurity

If I feel that I can't trust my partner, I would rather walk away and do some reflection. Is it my past relationship that has fuelled that insecurity or is it his action that has aroused my suspicion? I would not enjoy going round suspecting anybody. It's possible that this isn't the first time she's brought something like this up and he has tried being reasonable about it on other occasions. He could be tired of answering all of the questions and reassuring her again and again. I have no problem being totally open and honest about anything in a relationship, but sometimes the accusations can get frustrating.
Great video....HOWEVER....I dated a guy for 3 years. Everything felt great for the first year or so, then I began noticing "things". Long story short, I did the RIGHT thing which was having a discussion, asking him if there was anything wrong because he seemed different. Each time these talks happened he would reassure me all is well, act syrupy sweet and all would be well until the next talk happened. These discussions turned into me literally saying, "I know something is going on and I don't believe you're being honest with me". Each time I was met with, "you're crazy" or "it's all in your head" and as time went by (and as my anxieties and insecurities grew) it would evolve into, "you're just jealous" and "you're imagining things". Well........we finally broke up because the state of mind I was in (constant unrest and fear) had turned me resentful to the point I wasn't even sleeping well, I felt sick all the time. One day about a month after we broke up, I remembered he had wrote down his email passwords in a book I had given him (which he mistakenly threw in my "break up box"). That night I broke into his email (yup) and low and behold he had been meeting up with his ex exactly around the time I first began the communication that I felt something was "off".
With this being said, PLEASE, JAY, tell us what a person is to do when you have attempted NUMEROUS times to communicate with a partner and are constantly reassured but deep down feel they are not being honest with you. Is that the point you leave the relationship? Because I didnt look through his phone while we were in a relationship, it was after. If I had looked through his phone, I'm sure I would have broke up with him long ago and saved myself some time and health.

Sometimes it is a difference in values. One person believes certain things are harmless and the other believes those same things are dangerous and can lead down a dark path. Each person has a completely different perception of what is happening. In those cases it is uncomfortable but necessary to put oneself in the other's shoes/see things from their eyes, and try to come up with a compromise.

Yup! I spent some time with my mom yesterday and my girlfriend thought I was spending time with my ex-girlfriend at my mom’s house because my mom made a comment once that she would like to catch up with my ex. I was appalled that she would even think such a thing and it turned into a fight that lasted several hours last night. It’s very disheartening when you didn’t do anything and the other person is damaged.
