Thank u hazel ur a life saver, love ur channel, its even helpful in the future! By the way, how do i answer corms questions?😅 where can i find them, btw ur cat is soooo cute❤❤ tell her hi pls!
How can something be killed without destroying its enzymes ? I don’t get it ?? Also, isn’t the whole point of germinating barley seeds is it activate the analyse enzyme within it? So do we need to add additional analyse enzyme after killing the seeds ? PLEASE HELP ME!!! 😭😭
How do u add amylase (beer making) I thought amylase breaks down starch into maltose and then maltase digests it into glucose after which yeast is added. Please correct me if I'm wrong ,
I know your exams are over with now, but maltase is a type of amylase enzyme. When hazel said to add amylase enzymes to break down the starch, she was referring to a few different types of amylase since I don’t think you need to be specific about what type is used.
+success lover Seriously my biggest recommendation is to write down every scientific word you can think of even if you're worried it's irrelevant! E.g. explants, recombinant, vector etc. They won't penalise you! Don't repeat yourself and write too much. Use bullet points to make sure you're making separate points. Learn CORMS for 6 markers
+Science with Hazel Thank you so much for your advise :) ..btw I'm giving IGCSE tomorrow and as far as I know, we don't have 6 mark questions in IGCSE bio ..or do we ?
Very helpful thank you. However, you do speak really fast so I have to keep going back. If you could please speak a little slower just so I can process the information that would really be great

If you think she’s speaking too fast, I recommend to slow down the speed to about 0.5x. You can do it in the Settings. It really helps for me.
OMG thank you so much.you've actually just saved my life
Thank u your Chanel is great and u deserve the best
i thought that the whole point of using barley is to make enzymes that break down starch? that means you dont need additional amylase?
That’s exactly what I thought.shouldn’t it actually be like that ?
thanku very much...ur sources r really great...

The barley contains starch which amylase breaks down to maltose.
Thankyou for this video :)
+success lover It's my pleasure! Good luck for tomorrow!
