This is the cutest analogy for explaining enzymes
I hope real enzymes are this adorable.
I'm a biochemistry major taking a 500 level class on macromolecular structures and function, and I'm using this as a quick reference. Loved the DBZ reference.
What?
@@reginalorie they did the fusion dance
Me: has an exam in 4 days
Also me: sees this video
*Fails medical school*
Me: *suprised pikachu face*

We watched that in biology class. Everyone who watched Dragonball Z lost it at the reference. :'D
ive never thought id be that surprised in a biology video
@@mominulmirdha8898 Me too lol
lol i knew the dbz reference
Yes, I like "fusion" too. It's very cool concept. hahaha....
I never watched that

Awesome. Do let me know what your kids think of it. Over here we just hope to put a smile on their faces as they first learn about this cool topic. The more positive reviews we get the easier it is for us to raise funding to do more videos. So thanks for supporting us!
May I know if there is an e-mail address where I can contact you about the use of this video in schools?
Hey we are in grade 11 and this is used XD
Very helpful for no-longer-children, too ;) Thanks!
11-13 yr olds?? I'm 42 and back in a college biology class and found it very helpful. Please release more!!!!!

if every subject used this kind of method for teaching my mom would be so proud of me
I need this kind of explanation for every subject! 👍👍👍
+Eizz B Rusher Ner ikr!! I feel like a kid watching the message is so clear and to the point!

yep, me too.
Wow xd
Oh wow i just realized this was two years ago
We're working on it but we need to raise funds to complete it. In fact we have a whole range of science topics in store. We're especially excited about those tough Physics ones that many feel challenged by. You can support us by spreading the word about our animation project.
quarantine day: lost sanity
Can't believe this is made 9 years ago, it's so awesome, May you do more videos like this.. love this ❤️
that was the cutest thing I've ever seen

Anime reference though made this more exciting
+Jeiel Martin ikr
I watched this in school and I still remember it. 😄
Its been 9 years, i am still waiting for part 2.
Yooo that glucose fusion had me WEAK!!!!
you HAVE to get more of this made. this sort of stuff could easily spread basic scientific knowledge to people everywhere, and sadly that's one thing that's sorely lacking in today's world.
Excellent intro to the subject not just for those of 11 - 13, but older students too- especially ESL / English as second language learners doing Science. Don't keep us waiting too long for the next one!
OMG Dragon Ball Z reference to the fusion technique

Very impressive! I'm going to use this video in teaching about enzymes! Cute animations!
please upload new videos, or let us know where can we find them. I really liked it. it's so easy to understand. thanks.
Wow animated this 10 years ago. Glad the science still holds up. 🤓
You asked for it, we'll give you more! Yes you can expect more parodies of anime shows in our future videos. Thanks for being a fan.
than alot professor .it made me understand the enzymes in a more better way than all that stupid stuff written in books.
I am ur biggest fan
8 years ago damn
I'm your fan
Enzymes are chemical made by group of proteins. It is called biological catalyst. It speeds up chemical reactions inside living organisms without being changed itself. Enzymes are dependent on ph level and temperature. Optimum is the best temperature among them all. The molecules of enzymes are called substrate. For each substrate, at the corner there is active site. A substrate can only fit into an active site if it's specific in shape thus, adapted to its function it's called 'lock and key' model. Intracellular and extracellular are 2 types of enzymes that works inside and outside of the cell, secretes and thus, adapted to its function.
imagine pressing next then it pauses the video and you're sat there for ages waiting for the video to carry on...
I can't believe before 8years was also that much better animation.
DBZ fusion dance, this is fucking genius :D
Congratulations! You glucose evolved...
Into a glycogen!
This is a great video! The best and easiest to understand that I have seen yet! I'm a biology teacher for 9th graders and we are just starting macromolecules and are diving into an enzyme lab tomorrow! THANK YOU!!! Can't wait for more - these are great!
Lipase acts on fat molecules NOT fat cells. Important distinction.
FUUUUUSION! HA!
+ghost frost 88 yay I'm not the only one who noticed the fusion dance from DBZ!!

THERE'S A DBZ REFERENCE
Yesssssssss!!!!!!
YES IK I was shown this in class and i shouted out FUSION HA!!
+Sprited Yaaaaasssss

This is a great video. I am a HS teacher and just used it as a review for my lesson on enzymes. Would love to see more or discuss future lessons.
please upload more videos like this one, it's so good
This got shown to me in class and i literally came back just to watch the dbz fusion lmao

18 year old college student, this was so much more entertaining than my two hour lecture.
Lol The Amount Of People The "Click Next Button" Trolled Is Flippin Beautiful.
11 to 13 year olds? Well I'm a freshman and I found this very useful. It helped me do better on my quiz. Thank you!

You surely will have a target group who 'll appreciate this video. Specially the average students.
22 years old third year Biochemistry BSc.
This video is accurate and tbh covers most of what I know about enzymes after three years of study.
you made my day , fusion
I teach high school Biology and used it in my class..... I can't wait to see more! Any ideas on what will be part 2? Optimum conditions, denaturing??
The Dragon Ball reference is the best part of the video
I wish they woulve have showed this to me when I was younger, its a cool clip with funny animations, including the dragon ball Z for when the enzymes binded. Really cute and easy to connect to!
sometimes it's nice to have the context of a kids video to order all the stuff you read in text books.... thanks my brain needed this for a basic picture of understanding I want more ☺
2:228 even got DBZ refrences? the best man!
been learning this in school past 2 weeks and have an isa on it tomorrow and didn't understand but so pleased I found this and just watching it over and over again
THANK YOU

This makes the whole thing so much easier to understand! THANK YOU! :)
I am 17 but i use this video for my A/Ls . Thanks a lot.
I love this video! It presents what an enzyme is and its purpose in an animated way. Good work!
where is part two ? O.O :( this is so greatly explained!
lmfao did those glucose do the fusion dance, loving this vid.
Excellent and interesting resource. I used it with my Year 8 class AUS/year 9 NZ and it went well.Kept them listening and they have indicated it was easy to understand. Thanks for the great resource.
Thank you for sharing this video. I certainly like the looks of it a lot.
Really enjoyed that fusion dance.

This helped me a lot with my science assessment, thank you very much. I would love for there to be more videos like this, especially as how it said "To be continued..." It's helped me A LOT, as someone who has no idea what they're doing.
I loved this video. I showed it to my honors biology class today and they loved it too. Please make more!
We watched this in my science class at school at 15 we found it really useful.
