One of the things with tfk is that they raised money on their own and put out their albums themselves. So no record executives telling them what they could and couldn’t do. This was the first album they did it with. It was also their most successful album. It had the most #1 hits.
Fun fact, Trevor and Adam Gontier grew up together in Canada and went to the same high school.
Also, Gontier did some guest appearances with TFK in the album "The Art Of Breaking" on the songs, "Hurt" (additional guitar) and "Go" (guest vocals).
This whole album is fire!!! The songs are different sounding, pulling from different genres. Fun fact Trevor released a hip hop album on his own

TFK is definitely underappreciated! Their style is right up my alley but of all the times for me to first hear them, it was when they were the opening set for the welcome back concert for my little university damn near in the middle of nowhere. I was there for the headliner, but after the concert I remember thinking, "shit, I think I really liked those first guys more" lol
Dude, if you want to hear Trevor full on rap then you gotta react to I Am The Storm- These Lines. Trevor does a killer rap on that song.
TFK is a band I grew up listening to, and one of my favorite albums is The Art of Breaking, containing some of my favorite such as Art of Breaking, Hand Grenade, Absolute, Stranger and Slow Bleed.
@AntonReactsToRock Courtesy call is on the 2012 album "The end is where we begin" but that doesn't mean TFK wasn't in the 2000 era. They have 5 albums from 2000-2010 and 3 albums after that. So they were simultaneously making music with Linking Park
Awesome! So nice to see TFK on your channel. Just found you a few minutes ago and was impressed by how compassionately you dealt with "Heavy" by LP. Been a fan of TFK for 2 decades XD They are so underrated. They can sing, scream AND rap. XD
My favourite is Rockfist, I have a video of my baby head banging to that and almost falling over, haha.

You can never go wrong with TFK. Some of my favorites are Like a Machine, Born This Way, A Different Kind of Dynamite, I Get Wicked, and Rawkfist. Rawkfist is the one you want to listen to if you want to here Trevor rap. You should also try looking up Trevor's other bands too, I Am The Storm is more heavy metal, while FM Static is pop-punk. He also feat. in quite a few songs by other artists (he's feat. in at least 6 Manafest songs alone).

It is funny cause TFK is good friends with 3DG in fact The current 3DG Drummer was the old drummer for TFK and they have a demo track the 2 bands did together that you can find on UA-cam.

WHERE is TFK?? 5+ years and almost nothing....
They were probably focusing on family and other work and I heard their bass player was having some health problems but hopefully he has gotten better from then on. Also, they just came back with some reimagining of songs from "The End Is Where We Begin" in collaboration with fellow bands that they are friends with.
