I'm sorry, I know its a little too popular, but one of my absolute favorites is "welcome to the masquerade".
That along with Move and Phenomenon.

I’m personally not Christian or religious but TFK is probably one of, if not my favourite band. The End Is Where We Begin is maybe my favourite album of all time. The albums from Phenomenon to The End are all fantastic 🔥

Nine Lashes is another band from around the same time. They were/are(?) friends of Trevor and you should definitely check them out if you think Skillet and TFK are good songwriters

From my perspective, I see this song more as like… bettering yourself, getting rid of bad coping mechanisms, breaking free from generational trauma and letting go of things that don’t serve you anymore.
We all have our ‘krutches’ lol, but oftentimes they aren’t beneficial for us, just something we use to numb the pain. And sometimes the people we surround ourselves with are actually bringing us down or are in the same boat we are in, so our sudden change to become better can be startling to them, which is the “I hold the keys, so don’t be scared when I turn and shout”.
It’s seeing the situation you’re in and how damaging it is to you and everyone there with you but everyone else around you doesn’t see it the way you do. And all it takes is one person to open the eyes of another.
It talks about skeletons in the closet, and turning a blind eye to the things you see.
It takes a lot of strength to be the one to go against what’s always been done. And them, breaking out of the norm, rising to their full potential as a king or queen, can inspire everyone else to do the same.
So as a fly on the wall, witnessing everything going on around you, do you make a change? Or do you continue living how you were because that’s what’s safer and more comfortable for you?

actually this question of the band's sound is something that depends more on the album (or sometimes the song), but they started to have more symphonic music since the flame in all of us, in the case of the end is where we begin is one of the albums what else has symphonic music

Steve Augustine (the drummer) is such an underrated drummer. His technique is just so well done. It's fast, clean, and just groovy. There are videos of him doing drum work for some of their songs and it is just well done. Him, Jukka Nevalainen (Nightwish), Chad Szeliga (ex Breaking Benjamin), Pablo Viveros (Chelsea Grin), and etc. are just some of the best drummers in my opinion. Their technique and style is just so great and noticeable. So yeah.

TFK is one of the bands I grew up listening to and I even have one of their albums (The Art of Breaking). Some of my favorite TFK songs include Slow Bleed, Hand Grenade, Absolute, The Art of Breaking, Phenomenon, Rawkfist, Move and Hurt.
Two other bands you might like are 12 Stones and Anberlin (two other bands I grew up listening to), with four good starting songs by them being Broken, Running Out of Pain, Far Away and The Way I Feel for 12 stones and Ready Fuels, Paperthin Hymn, Impossible and We Owe This To Ourselves by Anberlin.

Hey hey. Just trolling for reactions and found you (again, I caught your Red album review, too I think). I completely agree that Christian rock bands do need a bit more "legitimacy" especially under the traditional distribution (record label) model. Then again in the late 1990s, the underground metal scene was a great deal of Christian or Christian-adjacent-- think Zao, Oil, Underoath, Devil Wears Prada, etc. But there's a lot of great musicians and song writers that would barely see the light of day because the "stigma" of the Christian label.
As of this writing you are past 5,000 subs. I would love to see your reaction review to Falling Up's last album (untitled). Anyway. Thanks for the vids.
