A lot of the music videos for Linkin Park were directed by Joe Hahn (the DJ).
I love this incredible song and album ❤️. ROBOT BOY, Burning In The Sky's, Waiting For The End just a few of my favorites on this phenomenal album.
Yes Robot boy is an amazing song, a thousand suns is their best album IMO definitely grown on me over the years.
@@tssb7 So glad you love Robot Boy too. You are so right. A Thousand Suns album is truly a MASTERPIECE.
Great reaction! What I love the most about this band is the fact they were willing to try different things. The old stuff is great and the newer stuff is also great . That's not easy to do. You can tell it's love of music more than just album sales that motivated them. More please.
I agree with you, I love when a band does different styles and sounds to their music thats why I love bands like Linkin Park and HIM, and also MCR :)
So glad u did The Catalyst-one of my favorites.
This entire (concept) album is genius! Blackout, Waiting for the End, iridescent… all of it!!
After Meteora, every album is so distinctly different from the next. It’s sad they took a lot of flak for that. I think it only speaks volumes about their astronomical talent-and courage!
Now that you're introduced to this song and you liked it, you should definitely give A Thousand Suns a whole listen, it gets really better if you take it as a whole instead of song by song.
This song could be described as one long bridge especially if in an album perspective. A Thousand Suns is a concept album that flows chronologically
The album version of this track is longer and I think the various builds throughout are even better and more powerful when they're drawn out. The music video is fine too, but on your own time I'd def recommend giving it another listen!
You MUST react to the live version at the 2010 MTV VMAs. ITS AMAZING
This is a album that gets better with time .
Fun fact, the album art is supposed to represent the very instant a nuclear bomb goes off, because it's said that in that very instant, it's hotter than "a thousand suns"
This is one of my favourite LP songs and I love this album too. Hope you get to react to the other songs off this album.
The Catalyst is one of my favorites by Linkin Park songs :)
Nice reaction… i will watch every LP reaction from you 💪🏾 so please more! 🤗 and btw: nice voice
Crazy that in 2022… we are still a broken people living on the loaded gun… the political statement this song is making cannot be ignored. And THAT is why i love LP. They spoke to the state of things, mental health, the world, their music keeps me entirely grounded and rooted in reality
Gods, the whole ATS album is highly underrated. That was when they graduated from making angsty teenager songs about relationships and hurt to making angsty adult songs about the state of the world and it's politics. Worth a listen front to back, imo
One of their best songs from their best album imo. When I first heard this one it threw me off as well cause it was so different from their earlier stuff.
Love this song!! ❤
Waiting For The End, Burning In The Skies, and Iridescent are the other singles this album produced. There's a condensed version of Iridescent that was released as the single for Transformers: Dark of the Moon that I feel does not do the album version of that song enough justice. I recommend reacting to the album version to get the full experience of that song, but that's just me.
please make reaction of The Script band. the band have a lot of great song great lyrics and unique voice. For example, the song "If you could see me now" can make you cry.
Seeing your eyes start glittering is so nice.😅
Little recommendation, not for a video but rather for listening by yourself: the studio version of the catalyst. The song is a bit longer there, which means the buildups are longer and it sounds all even more fluent than it does here. For me it is a top 3 song, i absolutely love it.
+ theres actually an interlude leading into the catalyst called fallout. Those together 11/10 imo
The second part of the first half does have different lyrics (before the chorus) though it's the same melody, but the song is still incredible. I'm a music producer (hobby not job) and I cover songs and recreating this song is extremely difficult to do, as there is so much going on in the song and that's what I love about it, it's so complex, yet so simple and I have had a lot of fun recreating the music for this song (no vocals yet unless you count my older cover from 2020).
Please do a reaction to the catalyst acapella version
Blew the speakers on my 6 disc cd stereo back in the day 😅 One of my favs 🔥👌🏾
Still can't believe this came out in 2010, damn I feel old.
Their best song hands down
🐐
I listened to a "extended" version, maybe the lyric version? I think it is better than the music video version.
That's the studio version. This one is the edited version
The full version of this song is so much better
I gotta be honest this album of Linkin Park’s is my least favorite of all of them. I think it was too much of a concept album and didn’t have rhyme or reason
