This worked for me. I left my AirPods charging for a couple hours and later when I opened the case, I held the button and it turned white. It was actually able to connect no bs.
Hi Sam, if you are getting a mismatch error there are two reasons: Your earpieces are on different firmware(one piece is probably on 5) or you have the USB-C model that is not compatible with lightning. You can check both model numbers on the earpieces to see if they match.. if so, then you have a firmware issue that can only be resolved by Apple directly. Hope this helps !
Hi there, as long as the earpieces are from the same set, then they are compatible. You cannot mix a USB-C Earpiece with a Lighting earpiece. @@yukamatsuki8891

What if i only have 1st Gen right airpods Pro, no case, and no left side airpod. Can i buy a new case and a left airpod, charge them together for 2 hours , then perform the exact troubleshooting as this video. Will it work?
It was working the first night I received it then after forgetting the device in Bluetooth it will not pair back to my phone no matter what I do. I’m on iPhone 14
Hi Robert: possible reasons include but not limited to: replica AirPods, not charging long enough, wrong model.. you can give our office a call during store hours and we’ll be happy to assist
Here’s the answer: put them both in the case. It will start flashing orange. Then HOLD the pair button down for 30 seconds. A long time. Just hold it until it turns white. It took about 12 seconds for it to happen for me but it worked! I didn’t have to charge them together or anything. I think at most I had them in the case together for 5-10 minutes max. I saw someone say to just hold the button down for a long time and that was the answer.
Hi there, if you ordered through our website you can call our support line and we'll be able to help you out.. if you ordered through another company I would recommend contacting them directly for further troubleshooting support :)

It’s recommended to allow the AirPods to properly charge all pieces, and if you connect it to Wi-Fi the firmware can also properly update.
