hey @simplypops! i recently did this exact thing after watching your video last month. i purchased the replacement and unfortunately they do not successfully go to full reset mode and continue flashing. help !
I know I'm finding this late, but here's what you gotta do: put both airpods in the same case, open the case and leave it open flashing, plug in the case, leave the case open and plugged in with both airpods in it for 30 minutes. That should sync them back up. Just follow the normal steps after that where you hold the back button and the light should turn white.
@@jasonh9787 Amazon or E-bay you can find individual sellers for just one but that can be risky. Worth asking someone in an Apple store the price to buy just one.
i tried to replace my air pod from another box in my main one and it i forget the device and it connects but it only shows the air pod that supposed to be in there
Okay so my little brother lost both air pods and we just have his case. And he has an android phone. So I tried pairing my iphone to his case but it won’t let me? Guessing it’s because of the missing air pods..
This happened to me. Been holding off buying a single pair. My hope is to wait for Apple to release a new gen and the previous gen is discounted so I can buy a whole new pair.
Thanks for redoing this video. But it didn't help me. Following these steps, exactly and everything went as you say, except my notification says "Not Yours"! Reset and started over, same results again & again 🫣
@@donjerson I got mine from the Apple Store...but I didn't have my working Airpod & case with me. I'll be taking them to the Genius Bar for them to fix asap 🤷🏽♂️👍🏽
