Victor's part is trying to calm Emily, and say that he is sorry, while Emily's part shows her anger and sadness. This may sound strange, but I'd like arguing with my partner like this. If only I could play the piano. (^;

This just goes to show that music is one of the most powerful languages in the world. You can hear EXACTLY who's speaking, what their mood is, and when they finally make amends with each other. You can hear the pain, the loneliness, and then the love.

i would suggest learning Victor's Solo before this one, it makes it so much easier and the solo IS playable if you practise a lot. Its awesome

I use to be able to play the piano rather well back when I was training regularly. Duets are actually no easy feat. Being able to be in time and emotionally connected to your partner is quiet a skill to have.

This isn't just a piano duet, is also a conversation. First Victor plays the first song he played alone before, but in a more humble tone, he's asking for forgiveness. Emily answers with some notes full of sorrow, she's not ready to forgive him yet, Victor plays the same notes again, saying he understands her pain, then they play some notes together, Emily saying she forgives him and Victor thanking her, then the rest are just joyful notes, meaning something more is starting to grow in them.

I am going to play this part with my best friend. He plays the part of Victor and I, I am a girl, play the part of her. We can almost play the full song but not yet together. Wish us luck for this Halloween! And have a nice day.
