Text Wrap in InDesign allows the edge of a block of text to follow a path. That path can be created within InDesign or it can be defined by the outer edge of an image placed into InDesign. This idea can be taken to the next level by drawing a path within Photoshop and after placing that file into InDesign having text wrap itself around that Photoshop path.
