As a professional Photoshoper I am glad to admit that, having seen really really a lot of videos, I never came across a more talented Photoshop guy than you. The ease with which you juggle with all of PSD's endless possibilities and the way you connect it all into workflows is absolutely unrivaled. Hats off! I really thought I know a lot about PSD until I saw your channel. And above all that you have incredible teaching skills. Thank you very much for sharing your talents. You are the Photoshop Mozart. :-) Greetings from Switzerland
I'm speechless. You are by far one of the best examples of how education should be in this digital era: kind, friendly, humble and incredibly clear. I'm so happy I came across this video today, i'm just starting to learn photoshop and after 30 sec of watching I knew I've came across a gold mine of knowledge. Thank you good sir, from Chiloé Island in Chilean Patagonia
I really love how this guy acts so friendly, humble and respectful towards the viewer. The slight accent makes me feel like he's a really nice tour guide or something. Great content.
Important note, once you're done with your adjustments you can go to "file>export>color lookup tables" to save your color grade as a Lut for use on other images.
Gosh! In just 13 minutes you explained more than my college teacher did in the whole year!! I'll definitely watch your other videos :) Keep up the good work 👍
I love watching all the compliments to this guy from across the world, the best one I read was "thanks man, because of you I have a job" ...wow just amazing
What is more incredible than the techniques you are teaching, is how adept you are at teaching subject material. Your lesson is well planned, pace and delivery are just great. The recap and summarization at the end is an excellent reinforcement. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you as a teacher, right now!
This. Is. Amazing. It reminds me of something that Larry Wall, creator of perl, once said: "Easy things should be easy. Hard things should be possible." This ain't easy, but it's possible. And grasping the underlying concepts frees you to invent and explore. Huge thanks, mate!
I just have to say, I consider myself a "photoshop guy" and have been since the 90's. I've used it in my everyday workflow and photography processing for 20 years. You continue to open my eyes, teach me new things and frankly, blow my mind with your knowledge and talent. Also, you're an excellent teacher and very natural and concise in your delivery. Thank you for all you do.
Yeah but you have no clue, why he did it and, what purpose all of this had. You also can't replicate color grading with this technique, because there's more to it, than setting highlights and mudtones and some sort oft makeshift color corrections.
Stumbled on this by chance while editing a clients photos. This literally made me so happy!! I had a client who wanted a specific style of photos and this made it so easy to replicate.. Nearly crying from joy fr.
"I can't believe this content is on the web for free" It's free to you. He has 1.2 million subscribers....hes getting paid. With so many people doing tutorials to get youtube subs, Id be hard pressed anyone would be able to make money with them as a point of sale.
I just watched 2.5 min ad with patience for this guy. So much respect for you Sir. You’re a true Gem. Only you can offer such high quality content for free. God bless you…
I took an advanced photography class in City College and we learned this technique step by step. I forgot how to use it and found your video. It is exactly what my professor taught us. This is a really great video and teaching that is at a master class. Cinematographers use this method of color grading. Thanks for a wonderful, clear video!
This is just mindblowing ! I've been watching all of your tutorials since 3 or 4 months, you just explain so clearly things, making it all seem like Photoshop is a game ^^ Subscribed to your channel :) Keep it up ! You're so inspiring ! :D
Dang, I didn't even know there was a vibrance adjustment layer, or the colour lookup, I didn't know about blur and average, or the select > colour range > midtones. What an incredibly educational tutorial.
Amazing PS skills and teaching skills Unmesh. It's so important that you mention those details like "select different file type" or "choose current layer and below" - those little problems often stop us from learning from others videos since it'a a step-by-step learning and when something doesn't work and you cannot find the reason you can't continue to follow the lesson and just abandon it.
The color swatch menu has changed at least as of Photoshop 2022 on macOS (the version I'm currently using) and "Load Swatches" is no longer an option. "Import Swatches" doesn't give you the option to choose .act files. If you're running into this issue, you can still import the color table by dragging the file onto the Photoshop icon. Doing this loaded the color table into the swatches panel as a folder with the same name as the .act file. It was kind of confusing because Photoshop didn't give me any sort of confirmation or notification that it successfully uploaded. I just happened to notice after some trial and error that it actually worked. Thanks for the great video, btw!
You have absolutely the best Photoshop tutorials: everything is so clear and concise, the results are great and you also make everything seem so fun! Thank you!!
I love your tutorials so much! You are so clear when you explain everything, and you make even complicated things seem easy. One of the things that I love the most is that you're the only UA-camr who I don't have to watch on double speed, which is a really big compliment! Everyone else is just so slow and boring and explains simple things for too long, whereas you're the opposite. I also love your big smile and warm attitude 😁 This trick is genius, and I will be returning to it when the time comes. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom!
Someone from Facebook suggested this video and dear lord! Where have you been all my life?! You go a little fast but go into great detail with what and why you do things. Keep these videos going!
I dont even have photoshop but I watch your videos. They are very good. You were born to do this. If you ever get tired just hire editors and keep it going !
I love you man, the way you do things in a different way than the intended and then tell us why it's not correct is so helpful and makes it stay in my brain
Thank you UNMESH for the great tools and information about tool. I was working around 3 to 4 years on photoshop and didn't know this and i am a faculty in Ahemdabad Academy technical center head and what you doing is best for me to spread the knowledge and pass on to my students. That's how our industry need a good editor and you Bhai just giving it just by passing you knowledge. THANK YOU SOO MUCH. BLESS YOU. 🙏
oh my word, you're so amazing man! Can't explain to you how often I have a problem I need to fix and you have already solved like years ago!! You're a legend!
As a photographer, I've always cared more about spending more time "in the field" than doing PP work. Especially on Photoshop. I hate it because it seems so alien and complicated to me. After seeing this video, I am completely amazed by you broke down such a complicated workflow in small, easy to follow steps! Rest assured I subscribed, hit the bell, and will watch all your videos and learn PS!
This is the first video I've seen from this man and his explanation is incredible. I truly believe he could help me understand absolutely everything there is to know about photoshop.
I have been using photoshop for years....but everytime I try to watch a simple, basic tutorial? My tools are different. Drop down menus are different. Simple, basic things the tutorial shows I don't have. It's SO FREAKING MADDENING! AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Please disable Adblock when you watch his videos, they are just insane and 100 % FREE to watch ! Giving him some adsense is the minimum we can do to thank him
Nothing comes even close to your tutorials. No disrespect to all the other wonderful creators, but you're just THAT good. Every video is a pleasure to watch and learn from. :) Thank you so much!
I am a professional Photoshop guy. But you sir are giving me something new. Although I have similar workings to create something like this. This makes it better and easier. You earned a new subscriber.
When an effect takes so many steps to be made, then I usually never manage to get the result I want but to my pleasant surprise it worked. The great explanation needs to be mentioned too. Thx!
You are such a great teacher. I know nothing about photo editing and somehow I got my pictures to look like they belong together. I love how clear you explain things. Easy to follow along. And I really like how you highlighted that part where you need to change the file from swatches to color table. When you clicked and the files weren't there at first, it created a tension and that helps to remember it! Thank you :)
I feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon your videos. I am about to buy Photoshop for my artwork/ photography - you are now my goto guy. Subscriber for sure.
The nice tutorial I found too much brightness in my image when I used the curve technique needed to pick the right spot to drop but Gradient Map did a very good job on the first attempt.
Thank you so so much for all your UA-cam videos, your explanations are beyond amazing, I’ve searched so much for decent turitoials but never fully got good ideas until I found your channel. I love how you explain not only the instructions but also each trouble shoots such as “why it doesn’t work or how to go back to the normal screen” and that’s what everybody wants and you instantly add them on as though you can see us on the other side of the screen, it’s like a magic!!! You are soooo goooood!!!!! I got frustrated with all those UA-camrs that do nothing but tutorials on how to apply presets/overlays that THEY ARE selling and not telling us ANYTHING and never reveal secrets until I take their overpriced courses or something. You are just killing them all and I can call you as a true hero. Thank you thank you!!! I’m overexcited to go through all your videos, I got lots to learn. Please keep doing this!!
What's ironic is I spent 2 weeks lamenting over the fact I couldn't get this creamy dark contrasty feel of a photographer I have envied. I looked up every tutorial I could and never found what I needed. Then I happened upon THIS... NOW! And you absolutely nailed it.
It's truly amazing to see that an Indian is creating world class content in English that everyday seems to understand and enjoy, that is besides the point that your tutorials are awesome.
Millions of videos show how it makes no sense to publish them, but here the basic structure is really almost perfect: good sound, the viewer always sees where the mouse is and what it is doing (simple, but so many just don't understand it) !) and a really personable speaker. Unfortunately, it is all too complicated, as if I would build an engine for my car in the basement ... but perfect video! :)
It’s a month that I silently follow your videos, but now I must break the silence: to me this is the best video of the many I saw as well as the best way to match color without manual adjustments I could find on UA-cam. It applies great especially for matching the colors of a subject with those of the background
dude my country takes like 300 $ for a beginner photoshop courses and I am not just mastering photoshop by the videos from your channel, thank you I am very grateful
Phenomenal tutorial! Concise, eloquent, and detailed. You explained a somewhat advanced technique in a way that a beginner could grasp. I appreciated that you addressed some of the little U.I. frustrations that people could easily have, for example, "Where's my swatch?" or "Why can I only select white on the Curves?" The summary was excellent, and it was great to see you actually take joy in what you were sharing. I rarely feel inspired when watching these kinds of tutorials, but I definitely do now! @PiXimperfect
what the... when I see videos 10 mins + I normally skip skip skip...yep I get it. But you sir, you got me hooked every second, very detailed and you have the audience attention. Well done and thank you!
I've been following you since 2018 when I was in 1st grade of high school. I really like your tutorial, very easy to understand and remember. thank you so much piximperfect, you have helped me a lot to develop in photoshop.
I'd sure love it if at the end of the video(or beginning) you did a few before and after flip frames. This way I can see what the difference is between the two and hopefully why you wanted to do it.
There is simply not enough like buttons that I would love to share for this video. It is simple, in front of our nose, and you Sir helped us open the eyes. Bow down and shoutout to you!!
hey ciao a te appare la tavola dei colori facendo doppio click con il contagocce sui colori precedentemente selezionati per le curve (min8:40)? a me no.. come risolvere?
For those who struggle and can't see under 256 colors, try to change "selective" to "custom" just under "gif". It worked for me. Hope i could help someone :)
Seriously man, nobody even comes close to your tutorials. So clear, concise and you have a voice built for TV. Thank you so much for not only this one but all of your videos.

I'd sure love it if at the end of the video(or beginning) you did a few before and after flip frames. This way I can see what the difference is between the two and hopefully why you wanted to do it.
😅 says really easy -> combines half a dozen techniques 😁
that combination is really smart, keep rockin! 😁🏆✌
There is simply not enough like buttons that I would love to share for this video. It is simple, in front of our nose, and you Sir helped us open the eyes. Bow down and shoutout to you!!
I love this guy, ive been working with photoshop since the 90s and this is my reference place
Dude, 10 seconds in and I have to say your hair looks photoshopped, perfection! :D
OCD kicks in, when he says "50" but actually chooses 51...
But beyond that... it's an absolute helpful tutorial!
Thank you for this!!!
I'm speachless. Where did you find all these tricks? Photoshop is really infinite
hey ciao a te appare la tavola dei colori facendo doppio click con il contagocce sui colori precedentemente selezionati per le curve (min8:40)?

I love all your tutorials, but I especially enjoy how at the end you go back through everything to remind us what we just watched.
For those who struggle and can't see under 256 colors, try to change "selective" to "custom" just under "gif". It worked for me. Hope i could help someone :)
Thanku!
@@pamelasoto6903 You're welcome ! Glad I could help ! :)
this is hard. . . I'm torn between Bob Ross or you - Unmesh Dinda, being the best teacher, in existence, that I've seen on the interweb 🙏🏽
What I’d like to know is if you’d have chosen 5 colours would the edited image have greater depth of colour?
Seriously man, nobody even comes close to your tutorials. So clear, concise and you have a voice built for TV. Thank you so much for not only this one but all of your videos.
Thank you so much !!! I'm french and don't speak english very well, but it's easy to understand your lessons.
