i forgot to say, since SeaWorld cancelled all the shows, they had the Orca Encounter Stadium open from 1pm to 3pm for training sessions... this is why i just standby the Orca area cause theres always something going on, even if its not on schedule lol
Shouka with Trainer Candace, Erin and Katey Tail Fluke tap lol
Shouka was basically my childhood and I have so many memories linked to her, I'm so happy she's doing so good 🥰
Beautiful orcas they are so smart and majestic. The Cadillacs of the ocean.💜
yes they are. :)
it's good to see that Shouka is still alive. even though i don't like seaworld or what they do i'm happy to see that shouka is happy
same here lol you dont have to like SeaWorld to like orcas or a specific orca.
Tilikum16 I hold shouka close to my heart because i saw her a long time ago at six flags in california
I was worried I wouldn't see her again I'm glad she's doing well
seems like shes doing very well being with her own kind, after her 2012 transfer from Marine World Discovery Kingdom from Vallejo California, of course i would love to see Shouka back with her relatives at Marine Land in Antibes France.
So amazing that they want to train shouka to do a kicker and she did amazing!
she does and learns fast too, but she does have an attitude much like a matriarch lol like when she doesnt want to do what was asked.....
Today is SeaWorld’s 56th anniversary!
wow Happy 56th SeaWorld! lol Happy Birthday right :)
Shouka is one of my best loved orcas because she jumps so high and learns her behaviors so quickly. Just keeping all parks in prayer because all are in states that are struggling with covid19 and wish for a vaccine soon 😂
i know all the states that has a SeaWorld has a large amount of COVID, most especially where im at lol in Florida.... they havent even opened San Diego yet, and i doubt with this rising numbers for everyone in the US, i do hope and pray for all, hopefully they find a cure, doesnt matter whether your Democrat/Republican, Anti cap or pro cap, we all need to stay healthy.... and hopefully they do find a cure soon! God Bless!
How do they even teach them this
Shouka came from my local park and she was sent to Sea World because she was the only orca and she was living with a dolphin.
yup Merlin and for some reason, they got along ok, until she got transferred that year (2012) wow 8 years now at SWC....
😇😇😇😇
Did Shouka get bigger?
seems like it lol :)
How is SeaWorld still open with the COVID-19 going around? My SeaWorld (Florida) is closed and we are here just sitting around on our butts. 😂😂😂
theyre not lol all SeaWorlds closed March 16...as you can see my video was dated March 14 my last visit at SWC after SWF....
Ohh, thanks for the clarification
If you forget about the less than wholesome things they pretend away, this actually looks kinda nice
Yes first to comment again!
Second! kidding haha
Shoukas poor fin, when she lived in Vallejo with her dolphin Cupid her fin was straight up! They did amazing shows. So sad
With her dolphin lol you made it sound like she had a pet dog, And are you suggesting SeaWorld did something to Shouka? She’s been with SeaWorld for almost 9 years, longer than six flags marine world in Vallejo, so you think she was better off there, go get her then and bring her back, let’s go see corky, she’s been with SeaWorld for over 23 years her dorsal is still straight like how it was when she was performing with orky at marine land...in the 70's
@@Tilikum16 maybe I will
Hi
hello lol
Do the swsd whales know the"innovate"?
whats that lol i dont even know it, and which park orcas know this behavior? sorry my turn to ask questions sydney....
Tilikum16 haha no worries! I’ve seen that (at least Tuar does) san antonio has taught their whales to come up with a behavior. so the trainer would give the signal and the whale would come up with his/her own behavior they choose to do. and they can never do the same behavior twice. I saw it in a video of the dine with shamu that Tuar was in. it was pretty neat to watch! I’ll have to find it and i’ll comment tge link to it! Just didn’t know if the swsd whales lnew it too! i think Orkid would have a blast with it IMO !
Tilikum16 Innovate behavior is where the whale is asked to choose a certain behavior that they would like to do, weather it be a squirt, pec wave hula etc. They can do any behavior they like the trick is when the trainer gives the signal to innovate again they can’t do the same thing twice. It’s really unique & fun to watch, interesting to see what the whales come up with. It’s fun to see how creative they get. I believe there is a video of Tuar doing innovate on UA-cam somewhere. But yes the Whales do know how to innovate, Sydney Goetz, to answer both questions lol.
Stay home and stay safe. Be like me who watches UA-cam while eating Top ramen. And at 4:54 is that Shouka and Nakai.
yes Shouka was with Nakai and Orkid during this training session, this was shown after that special training session i uploaded previously.
Knew it. Nakai looks much like Kasatka but that fin.
I am just learning about these beautiful majestic creatures so forgive me for asking... Orca's are dolphins not whales?
It’s okay lol you are right! yes they are the largest dolphins, and not whales, they were called whale killers or killer whales by ancient sailors
@@Tilikum16 thanks for answering me I really appreciate that. I'm going to binge watch all your uploads now I've noticed you got a lot 🐬
thank you for the question lol oh wow, it will take you forever, from 2013 One Ocean show to the current Orca Encounter, also i wasn't a
big fan of these places before and they changed my mind, i mean they're not perfect but they do more good than harm, than other places/people who claim to care about these animals...tell me what you think after :)
Ah there goes Nakais dorsal, at least its to the right and not to left like all the other males. I've been in Cali for work and was trying to get over to SW but of course I missed out before they closed (i was there in December too but the park closed due to rain). Everyone is looking good! I appreciate your videos, I can keep tabs on peeps while I'm on the road.
lol i know, i missed your videos, i thought you lived in cali actually cause you were taking a lot of videos, stay safe and healthy!
@@Tilikum16 I live in Arizona but my work has me out on contracts every few weeks, with California being the most frequent at 4-6 times a year. Sometimes our work keeps us busy and I can't escape, or the weather interferes. But I'm holed up for a few weeks now, will try again over the summer I guess
well i look forward to it, im hoping everything is okay with you, since this Corona virus is affecting everyone on planet earth, i do hope they find the cure soon, its good to see a lot of people recovering from it, not good when you hear people who have died from it, one is too many, were 3rd now in number of cases, up to 42,207 now, after China and Italy....take care!
I SO LOVE IT THAT THOSE STANDS ARE EMPTY...
lol no ones allowed in the stands, psssst have you heard? CORONA VIRUS is killing a lot of people, you still love it?
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Yes
Amazing!
Maybe I use ur vid
maybe not ....or get reported
Corona go, go corona
are you cheering for Corona? or you want corona to go away?
@@Tilikum16 go away
Tilly, awesome video please keep it up ty 🐳🐳🐳👍👍
Thank you!! 😁
Guess SeaWorld Orlando trains the orca's faster because Makaio knows the behavior.
not really lol cause remember Katina was just leaning the front flip.... over 2 and a half years ago, my video dated Aug 16, 2017, as the trainers said, it varies by orca, how fast they are to learn new behaviors, depending on how hard the behavior is, with Orkid its usually fast as she is the smartest among these guys.
They should train Humpback and Blue Whale whale and put in SeaWorld
