Great point about Sinatra being able to reproduce his studio sound in a live setting. I think this is such a great song for him to showcase that wonderful voice and his ability to give meaning to a lyric. He was a special talent no doubt. Great reaction and good luck with your channel.
He did retired for a few years. When Paul Anks heard he was going to stop performing and he had promised Frank a song. Paul went home and wrote this song for him in 1 night. That's the story that Paul tells about this song. Couple years later he came back to performing for several more years after his return. He passed away in 1998.
Every singer sound like in their time (50s, 60s, 70s, etc.); Elvis songs 60 years ago still sounds like it could have been recorded yesterday...Elvis changed with the times; no other singers could!
*Damm Your beautiful smile & Frank* I'm in heaven.!!! Most excellent..!!! If you ever wondered who the genesis of fandom, girls going nuts was you found him.! Not Elvis, not The Beatles, not Zeppelin, not Nirvana, not Eminem, and most certainly not BTS... it was Francis Albert Sinatra..!! R.I.P. Old Blue eyes......♡
""my way is a song popularized in 1969 by Frank Sinatra set to the music of the French song "Comme d'habitude" composed and written by French songwriters Claude François and Jacques Revaux, performed in 1967 by Claude François. Its English lyrics were written by Paul Anka and are unrelated to the original French song. The song was a success for a variety of performers including Sinatra, Jocelyne, Elvis Presley, and Sid Vicious. Sinatra's version of "My Way" spent 75 weeks in the UK Top 40, a record which still stands.
When I used to do Karaoke I did nothing but this song. Something resonates when you lead a certain lifestyle. I hope someone plays this for me when the final curtain is pulled.
He did every recording live with his band. That’s how every artist was back in the day. You truly had to have talent to make it. Nowadays you just need the look and they make you a star. It’s really sad that the younger generation gets fooled so much.
Frank Sinatra's version sounds like it was sang in 1974; Elvis' version sounds like it was done yesterday...The song fits Elvis (Paul Anka-Wrote the song later agreed) in his final concert in 1977 it was the last song he sang; sadly, 6 weeks later the KING was dead!
Classic song from Frank but it has to be Elvis for me because he sang it with more passion where as Frank it's more talking apart from the end stay safe 😷✌
Nice reaction, you are very sweet. It seems that you like older music, have you heard the Animals - House of the rising sun? Its so full of power and emotions. Its from 1964. Subscribed and greetings from Sweden.
Now artists record and do not sing live no so much at least. In past, you sing live and not recorded ( it was expensive) also it was expensive to buy vinyl records ( yes vinyl there ware no CD or DVD then)
A classic Frank song nice very nice. But Elvis was king of this song. Elvis had the voice. I think Dean Martin and Bing Cosby had better voices than Frank.

Great reaction. Frank was a great singer. I think it's a sad song also and my dad's friend had it played at his funeral and everyone was in bits.
The chairman of the board! Definitely did it His Way!
love this mans singing. that's life is a brilliant track.👍
Wow you look at frank like he is your grandfather it's amazing

This song inspires introspection, which is always a good thing.

the Madison SG 1974 version is one of the best.
The song My Way was actually made for Frank Sinatra specifically by Paul Anka this song is Franks.
Nobody sings a song like Frank Sinatra 🎤

Paul Anka wrote this song for Frank Sinatra in 1969, you need to check out Paul Anka's 1969 version as well.....
What Now My Love is a song that both Elvis and Frank did. Perhaps you should also react to those. :) Thanks 😊
👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✌
Francis forever 😍
*HEY DE GEMS, YOU SHOULD REACT TO HIS SONG CALLED ''I FALL IN LOVE TOO EASILY''! (1945)*
Classic song from Frank but it has to be Elvis for me because he sang it with more passion where as Frank it's more talking apart from the end stay safe 😷✌
That’s because Franks an old man in this video singing it live. If he were in his prime he would definitely beat Elvis. I prefer Franks imo
Frank was a lot better when he was younger that wasn't his best Elvis was still the best for me each to their own hey stay safe 😷✌
