Your poor generation has been so starved for good music, real music, that when you hear it, it overwhelms you. What we took for granted back in the 70s is like manna from heaven to your generation. I'm glad you had a chance to listen to the wonderful pop music that we had from back in the day! ✌
Gen X here. All I can say is that not caring so much what peers think is as important as ever. It's not easy but gets easier with age. Value yourself enough to have a relationship that will treat your value with respect and dignity. And showing emotions isn't weak it's human and real.
It's amazing the reaction people express when they hear this song for the first time. It's like a light bulb saying, " Is this what MUSIC supposed to sound like?? ( and how do they sound so good) It never gets old
Thank you for not interrupting the music. So many keep stopping and starting which is so annoying. Plus you are a beautiful young woman and wish i was 40 years younger lol.
Bless this beautiful girl. I hope that discovering the amazing music of the Bee Gees is a balm to her soul. This generation has been raised in a truly hard, brutal World
Bless you, I know how you feel. I lots my love 13 years ago, she is now married to someone else. I don't trust anyone, I don't trust love anymore. If he did not love you it's his loss, he does not deserve an angle like you. I'm old now, 60, I will never find love again even if I trusted it. You will find your prince charming one day and the love you deserve.
I'm 73 and I grew up on the BeeGee. They were the absolute best. You don't find music like them these days. I wish I had a chance to see them in concert. But that won't happen now because Barry is the only brother alive. But you won't find better band. Try listening to more songs of them you will love them.
Just by the way you reacted to the Bee Gees song shows that you have a lot of love inside you to give. Remember, God has a plan for you and you are loved. Keep your heart open and the right person will someday walk right into your heart
Music is supposed to provoke emotions. Music is supposed to relate to a situation. Bearing your emotions can make a person feel vulnerable. Thank you for being you. You do deserve more. To Much Heaven is never enough. Love will always surpass the evil.
Gen X here. I hear and feel you. I grew up to this type of music. What fills those holes in the heart is Hope & Faith. A romantic heart ❤ keeps you from becoming cynical of life & gives to charity till love finds you face to face with graceful love. Hearts break, but they mend stronger to stand the test of time for all that you love. Love seeing you cry listening to the song, because it means you’ve still got a lot of love inside your heart ❤ Stay beautiful girl. Peace & Strength, J
Bless your heart, don't worry. I have been listening to the Bee Gees since the 70's. Their songs still make me cry too. You never get tired of hearing them sing.
We feel you girl. People made fun of the BeeGees, but they could cut to the core of you, as you saw. Very much appreciated your frank reaction to the evocative and emotional song. It's one of their best, but almost all of the non-disco songs of the BeeGees tug at your heartstrings. I am glad I discovered your channel, and now will see other things you've reacted to.
I grew up with this song I’m 63 and I can’t tell you how many times rollerskating skating couples to the song and you’re right it is a very emotional song. It’s sad that three of his brothers have passed away but their music their legacy will live forever.
I travel to be with my beautiful partner I travel 20 mins to be with her, now she move to Windsor 45 mins and now by 31/2 hrs drive or by train 4 to 5 hrs I am happy in love so to be with her you have to follow yr heart ❤ no guy will do this always truefull to her, there are words which I touched her heart and cry with happiness a great feeling inside ❤❤.
I was born in 1970. I grew up listening to the Bee Gees. They are, inarguably, one of the best groups of all time. Their harmony is out of this world. I grew up in an era when music was real. I have cried listening to their music because of the instruments and the angelic harmony. Not too many can do it like the Bee Gees. Hopefully, your generation will learn to appreciate such timeless and classic music.
It's an emotional song for me, too. I couldn't listen to this song for over a year after my wife died. She passed away from a sudden stroke two years ago in June. We were married for almost 23 years, and I'll never get over her, and she can never be replaced. Barry Gibb, the lead singer of The Bee Gees, has been married to his wife, Linda Gray, since 1970. 54 years.
I am a boomer, 70 years old. People think I am in my 30s when I talk and 50s when they see me. The 70s has the best music EVER. This is my favorite, FAVORITE, song of all time. So are the BeeGees!!! All time! Delve more into the BeeGees and others! The real music of the 60s, 70s, 80s needs to be played all the time, along with other harmonius songs you can sing to, good church music too, throw out the trash called "music" since!!!!
I was 8 years old when this song first aired on TV in 1978. My cousin, who was 20 at the time, she started crying and said this song so beautiful! The 70's are chalked full of some of the greatest love songs ever written. Enjoy!
I still listen to the wedding play sit my wife and I had for our wedding 20 years ago this may. So make that list my friend. The Gibbs brothers have made women swoon for over 40 years.. Straight to the heart.
Oh honey, I feel you.. it’s such a beautiful song. Everything about this hits your heart.. makes me emotional Everytime I hear it. Written and performed by the best brothers in music history. Thank you for reacting 💖💖
As a happily Married Man of 23 years, I can say : Don't drop your guard or standards. Don't give it away, and be straight about what you want. Only with standards will you get a good one. Quality takes a good minute. You deserve to be loved in the way this song expresses love, when you love back the same way.
You will get more emotional if you listen to "How Deep is your Love", one of the most beautiful songs by the Bee Gees, and an all time favorite for me.
That was the most REAL reaction to this song that I have ever seen..lol. Adorable!! I was a kid when this came out on the radio.. I was memorized too!! Much love.. Everybody cries to this song.. It hits all the right notes to the heart.
What a wonderful response. Thank you!!! I had a musician friend that used to say, "what comes from the heart, reaches the heart." We need more of that. Emotions are nothing to hide or fear. Anyway, in 1984, we used this song as our wedding recessional. So Powerful! Check it out: Earth Wind and Fire, Fantasy. I'd love to see your response.
You almost made me cry too. I know all of the Bee Gees songs. I was a teenager when this song was released. I have seen lots of the reaction videos. Others were over exaggerating their reactions. But you listened with your heart and soul. Songs were good for your mood. They were a great way to lighten up your day. Unfortunately that type of music and talent has disappeared from your generation. Well done for not constantly stopping the song. It makes it easier to get into the vibe. ❤ From Ireland If I could offer advice to your generation who seems to find it hard to fall in love for the right reason. Tell your friends to stop allowing their body to be used by men who are not looking for a long term relationship. They just want another notch on their bedpost. Get to know each other and then decide if you really want to take it further. Go out for a walk hold hands go to the cinema or wherever you go. But stop allowing your body to be defiled by men who are actually only men because of their age. Not because they are protecters, hard working, and kind. I met my husband at a club, probably dancing to the Bee Gees. That was 42 years ago. We are still married and happy. It's not all rainbows and sunshine, but life isn't like that. Both people need to work together to make a relationship work.
You deserve someone to love you as intensely as Barry sang this song. And BTW, her has been married to the same woman for 53 years! So his emotion was real.
P.S Thanks for opening up your heart to the world. You have beautifully strong courage. A light tower for souls. You see…. Hope & Faith ❤. Patients, Peace and Strength love. Be good girl. J.
This song came out when i was about 16 or 17, and back then, i liked it, but it didn't stand out too much from others songs of that era that i liked because great songs were everywhere. Barry is a great singer (Robin too), but so were Philip Bailey, Bobby DeBarge, Emanuel Johnson, Al Green, etc, from that era. So this song, although great, didn't stand out like it does now from UA-cam first-time reactors. It's great to see. Every one of you reacts almost the same way. Shock, awe, and respect. Your eyebrows tell the story. I can't help but feel like I'm 16 or 17 again when i watch how yawl react to this song. So your reaction is much appreciated.
I loved the Bee Gees back when I was 14 years old, and I still love it now at 59 years old, it has not changed the love in my heart as the first time I heard it back
I am not a GenZ. I am a boomer and had the wonderful history with the BeeGees and all the other fabulous music of the 70s. I KNOW how blessed I am and I KNOW how different it is for you. But I also know that you know in your heart that you ARE worth a solid commitment. You are WORTH being cherished by a young man who loves you with all that he has. I also know that he will come to you in God's time...and you will know it when you see it. Be patient. Pray. Have faith that the God who made you wants the very very best for you.
I was 7 when this song came out. Brings back great beautiful childhood memories. GORGEOUS SONG from the awesome BEE GEES! So blessed growing up in the 70's listening to this type of music. Best generation of music. Pure perfection!
Trust me, one day you'll find it when you least expect it, when you're not looking for it, you are to pretty and sweet, but I get it, your young and work on yourself and your career and every thing will fall into to place, and pray that you find the right one.
Thank you so much honey for sharing your heart. I am a 66 year old woman from the USA that grew up listening to the Bee Gees. My daughter is a millennial and she is experiencing the same thing you expressed and it's hard for her as well. But, I would like to share with you the same thing I always share with her. You are a jewel angel to be valued in all situations. Always value yourself that way. Remember you are beautifully and wonderfully made, and never allow anyone to devalue or dim your light, which comes from God. I'm very proud of you recognizeing when it was time to move on from a situation that didn't bring you the joy you totally deserved. May God bless you with the right man that sees very clearly the jewel you are and treats you as such.❤
I don't have daughters, I have two sons, I've brought them up to respect women, I am 67. So they are old school gallant. I can't tell you how many women have walked all over them because of how sweet they are. It goes two ways, they have to treat men well as well. I hope you don't mind my replying to your reply but it isn't only women that get disrespected and I wanted people to know that!
The middle singer, Barry, said they were recording in Miami years ago. The producer asked him to try a high harmony and he did. That falsetto voice was born! Barry said he had no idea he could do that. It became a signature sound for their disco years! 😅
I think it's good that young women also have an ear for such a cultural asset. The Bee Gees have a whole generation as fans and I'm one of them. It's a pity that Barry is alone now, but the music remains. No matter what skin color or nationality, this music goes to the heart
Wow V. ... so well put! Great reaction and great comments. Thanks for sharing your personal perspective. A person so intelligent and sensitive I am sure will find true, lasting love. Your emotional reaction was perfect ... and no, not boring at all! I really enjoyed listening to you ... and the music!

Very well put. I’m going to share your sentiment with my daughter tks ❤
This song is the hug you didn't know you needed.
This! This exactly this 😭✨🤗
Best way I’ve ever heard this song described 💯
Gen X here. All I can say is that not caring so much what peers think is as important as ever. It's not easy but gets easier with age. Value yourself enough to have a relationship that will treat your value with respect and dignity. And showing emotions isn't weak it's human and real.

Is it me or is she one beautiful angel appreciating an amazing display of musicianship?
She definitely is GORGEOUS!!!
White dude from Tennessee here and you are 💯 correct. Beautiful girl.
Yeah she's gorgeous.🤘
Thank you for not interrupting the music. So many keep stopping and starting which is so annoying. Plus you are a beautiful young woman and wish i was 40 years younger lol.
One of the most beautiful songs ever written, sung by the genius of the Bee Gees.
Bless this beautiful girl. I hope that discovering the amazing music of the Bee Gees is a balm to her soul. This generation has been raised in a truly hard, brutal World
Songs back then were written like a personal love letter between two people. I miss the 70's, it was an awesome time to be alive.
I agree I miss the 70s and 80s.
Same here!! Born in the mid 60s, I am so blessed to have lived through and been a part of this great Era!! Nothing compares to the 70s and 80s music!!
Sex..Drugs n Rock n Roll
❤I AGREE
Exactly. The 70s was the BEST era in music. I miss this era every day! The music was beautiful and heartfelt. It just melted you all inside.
Bless you, I know how you feel. I lots my love 13 years ago, she is now married to someone else. I don't trust anyone, I don't trust love anymore. How sad this generation is, I want to say….just go for love ❤️
Respect to this lady. Not afraid to show her true emotions while listening to this beautiful song
So true...she has a beautiful heart
Even being 63 and a man's man the Bee Gees still get me right in the feels! 😢🥰😁
Not the feels! I'm 45 and I'm not keeping up with slang like you do. Cheers.
I'm 73 and I grew up on the BeeGee. They were the absolute best. You don't find music like them these days. I wish I had a chance to see them in concert. Absolutely! ❤️🥰
I don't know if it is this song that gets me or seeing her cry. Amazing.
Your reaction restores my faith in humanity 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Until you watch the news again.
@Topper_Harley68
I stopped watching about 5 years ago 💯
If this song doesn't make a person emotional, nothing ever will.
Just by the way you reacted to the Bee Gees song shows that you have a lot of love inside you to give. Remember, God has a plan for you and you are loved. Keep your heart open and the right person will someday walk right into your heart
The guy in the middle, has been married to the same woman for 50 years, pretty amazing.
Music is supposed to provoke emotions. Music is supposed to relate to a situation. Bearing your emotions can make a person feel vulnerable. Thank you for being you. You do deserve more. To Much Heaven is never enough. Love will always surpass the evil.
Let it go. This sound breaks me every time I hear it.
Yes you are so beautiful
Gen X here. I hear and feel you.
I grew up to this type of music. What fills those holes in the heart is Hope & Faith.
A romantic heart ❤ keeps you from becoming cynical of life & gives to charity till love finds you face to face with graceful love.

This was done live. No editing. No autotune. No retakes. Pure talent. On top of this, all of the proceeds went to a charity of their choice. 😊
I was born in 1970. I grew up listening to the Bee Gees. They are, inarguably, one of the best groups of all time. Their harmony is out of this world. I grew up in an era when music was real. I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my husband of 40 years 5 years ago. Barry and Linda's marriage makes him seem even more likable to me.

I miss old times ! Greetings from Finland.
This is one of their most beautiful songs. 😊
Much love to you and your tender heart
Ahh girl, bless you yea it’s beautiful music.
Young lady you have a Caribbean accent but you look like ladies that I saw in Kenya but either way, you are a beautiful doll.
I am Nigerian 😅 thank you ❤️
Beautiful honest reaction .. Blessed
I think it's good that young women also have an ear for such a cultural asset. The Bee Gees have a whole generation as fans and I'm one of them. It's a pity that Barry is alone now, but the music remains. No matter what skin color or nationality, this music goes to the heart
Beautiful reaction ❤❤❤❤
Love the Bee Gees such a great group and so many great songs
It's a beautiful song huh made you cry well when I was younger that song broke my heart, after a sad break up with an ex girlfriend.
Wow V. ... so well put! Great reaction and great comments. Thanks for sharing your personal perspective. A person so intelligent and sensitive I am sure will find true, lasting love.
